There are places outside of Aden and Goddard you can farm at. Devil's Isle and some Catacombs/Necropolis is also a good one if you can find a room.

Just make a party of 9 orc characters and level them all to 40 and each will get a random spell book. It's faster to get the book that way then to farm it at Sea of Spores.

Oh great bountiful and beautiful GMs and DEVs,
I have an inventory full of Speed Talisman's that I got from the timed-hunting zones and I cannot enchant them, because the Speed Talisman boxes do not come with any scrolls. Can you please make the enchant scrolls available in some form or fashion via - Speed Talisman enchant packages, event boxes, L2 Coin Shop, or mobs drop them please. Happy Holidays and Happy New Years!

Can you guys also add "Event NPCs" and "Compensation NPCs" like that silly Angel Cat in Goddard please. Why do we always have to port to Giran to join events or be compensated? That's not compensation! That's called torture! LOL....

All your updates do not reflect what the majority of your players want. I was personally hoping for new locations to hunt and adjusted drop rates so we can afford to farm with shots, ores, potions, etc... The game is grossly saturated and people have to kill each other just to have a decent place to hunt. The game is also in a wreck because of all the FARM-BOTS dominating questing areas, as well as favorable hunting spots. And, why don't you bring back the option where we can sell materials back to the NPC shops for adena. Someone told me NC Soft removed that option to limit the farmers, and now all they do is leave all the junk materials on the ground scattered everywhere, which is probably responsible for the poor latency and lag in the game. The horrific amount of P2W items in the game has caused an extreme imbalance in the game. The server seems one-sided to me and a few people control every aspect, event, and content of the game. Also, there is absolutely no competition due to the fact that the majority of players (co-dependent ones) want to win all the time, so they end up joining the winning side, rather than trying to balance the game and fighting against the stronger team.
The PK system needs to be revamped because people can avoid Lv. 3 Observatory by working off their karma in a few minutes and go right back to PKing again. Any high level player stacked with P2W items can PK anytime with very little consequence. If challenged by an equally strong player they can simply BSOE! The risk of losing items has the same probability as NC Soft listening to their community (.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%).
PLEASE STOP wasting your resources in trying to make new mobile versions of L2, which will most likely be a FAIL in the Americas, and start doing things to improve the original game which has held on to player base for over 21 years! This game has proven time and time again that it CANNOT BE REPLACED and DESERVES to be improved NOT JUST FOR PROFIT, but for the GAME QUALITY for the players who continue to stay LOYAL. We understand that businesses are here to profit, but there has to be a balance! Why don't you make a survey in the community asking from 1-10 how greedy the community believes NC Soft is? I'm sure NC Soft will already know the outcome of that survey! You guys are treating this game like a drug knowing that many of your players are helplessly addicted. If you want to go to Heaven then do something good for your community. Amen...

Great! Please do not compensate us where we have to go to town every time to get a silly buff. Make it automatic without us having to go anywhere to get it, because that is just compounding an inconvenience on top of another inconvenience.

Actually I lied. If you press restart, a window should pop up and allow you to select "Item Acquired." Another window should expand and show which toons received L2 Coins, and you guys are absolutely correct that only toons who do damage get the coins. Hope this answers some questions... I love and enjoy this community and I am hopeful that they will listen to us and keep us connected to this amazing game...

Tell me about it! They create a policy against RMT, but they leave many players no choice with unsustainable adena drop rates and quantity! They increase "chat level requirements" to silence the farmers selling adena, but they keep their business flourishing, because players cannot afford and keep up with the cost of the grind. No one farms at Varka and Ketra, because of how difficult the mobs are along with the terrible drop rates. Adena should drop in elemental zones, because there isn't enough places to farm. The game has evolved into non-stop PKs for hunting spots, and then you have those high level players that run around and just PK (without consequence) other players for no reason at all. New players have no chance to grow and develop their toons and are left at a huge disadvantage and just end up leaving and playing a private server. This version of L2 does not attract enough new players, and when they come they end up quitting because they can't grow. There is a great imbalance in the game right now. Illegal third party software is not enforced, farmer bots all over the place and RMT is rampant, almost everything is P2W, every playable zone is saturated, and like you said you can't earn enough adena to keep up with your grinding. On a good note, the GM's have been very professional and prompt when handling tickets, the community of players have been amazing except for a select few who run around and PK people all day using "Adrenaline" with their full party of support bots, the admins have been very responsive and communicative, and there have been some new updates that have made the game more interesting and appealing (new crafting system, L2 coin shop, revised augments, etc...). I'm just patiently waiting for someone in NC Soft to step up and "sincerely" listen to their players that have been playing this game for more than a decade, and address all of these important issues.

There is a new crafting system that you can apply your mats and get crafting points. Just read up on it under "News" on the Lineage 2 home page.

You might have combat mode on. It's the sword icon on your auto-hunt interface. Just click it off...

You can easily farm Garden of Beast just outside of Goddard or the first rooms of Giant's Cave. You can also do Hot Springs and get your dailies done...

@Darkesttunnel Counter critical only works for melee attacks as from the skill description. I use the pp only for zerk. I can use both Blessing and Gift as they're Lv2 so I don't have to summon/unsummon the queen all the time.
It will still give you 30% protection from critical damage.

Dear Grandmaster,
I noticed only toons that deal damage get the talisman boxes on the Frozen Timed Zone. Is it suppose to be like that? If it is, then is it most damaged dealt or last hit?
