  1. What is the lore around goddess and after? Did shilen get re-imprisoned after her release, what happened around goddess and after. If anyone cares to you can remind me quickly what happened around h5 and so on too that would be dope

  3. Why not just automate the live version of the game as well? the macro tool is horrendous as a returning player trying to play a summoner YUCK! jesus christ, the next target mode is even worse
  4. Guys let's make this game profitable and fun to play... I just lost my 90% of my clan and all my friends left... Message me I would love to work on this there are so many easy solutions for lineage 2 make even more money and make the game interesting, engaging, and a leader in the mmo genre
  5. Some of the automated gameplay seems alright to be honest, I kind of enjoy it. The issue is the pacing of the game is not great, and can be improve quite easily. There needs to be more active content for when people want to play that is a bit more rewarding. Which amazingly enough can make lineage 2 even more money.
  6. I disagree with the statement, there are so many other developers that westernize or easternize their games. Hell lineage 2 itself has had so many versions over the years and so many fiddling with the mechanics and ideas from west to east. The development of the game needs to be moved into some ways to retain players and player experience. My clan just died and the clan I join is already talking about leaving and getting bored with farming for soulshots or spirit ore farms. People who spent money mind you are being lost. I did a talk with some of my clan members and they would have been willing to play the game and pay for more. Instead of just a small drop in the bucket. You could retain so many players and grow the game its insane how much potential lineage 2 has and some things that it does so well compared to other mmos.
  7. Hey they are absolutely free to do as they will, I honestly don't want a job. I've seen data points from other games but the data point you should care about is player activity, player retention and player spending. Your biggest clients and spenders, will leave once the game dips when they could remain big spenders for years longer or even more money in some ways that makes them feel better and you grow the population, so they feel even better about spending, you have lots of casual and normal players spending as well. But hey if they are happy with what they are doing and not looking for suggestions, new ideas etc, nobody can change their mind. And that's fine by me

They bought packages and premium and left the game. I had 2 player friends return with me who also left who did not like the setup but love lineage. So no this is not sustainable it seems . Also lineage 2 literally has a revamp in unreal you might not know about lol Class or racial reincarnation usually cost tokens, that the lineage 2 store can sell. This way you fix the issue immediately with replicability, retention, enjoyment and so many other factors. You make players feel invested in their characters and much much more psychologically. Kamaloka and trascendant dungeons and custom content that can be easily made into an interesting storyline with a few model changes dialogue and storyline. All the tools are there
  9. Sure a starting one would be to write a storyline for lineage and quotes / dungeons associated with that. Final fantasy, wow and so many other mmos show that this can be a really important part of the game, we all know lineage has some amazing lores and for those deep delvers we remember the pagan temple storyline which is a legit really interesting. More importantly gameplay wise you can create amazing story driven dungeons and break some of the grind and allow you to play the game actively, plus they can be excellent story content, solo or group experience. With unreal 4 for example you can make some amazing mechanics happen and games line dungeons and dragons online, have some of the best solo/group dungeon content there and ncsoft can make lots of money monetizing it while keeping player engagement, expanding the game and the lore. Obviously this is a small fraction of some of the suggestions like a re-incarnation system, where instead of being stuck at level 50-60 etc. You could level up at a more enjoyable pace that maybe allows you to play more active when you have time instead of being grind stuck, and reincarnate. Lineage 2 already has so many passives a few others I imagine won't be an issue or even actives where at max level you reincarnate and get small boosts. This way you diversify player content, allow them to be more pro-active when they want to, it makes lower level areas booming with people and does not make the game look empty, a mentor system would be excellent with it you can help clan members level up etc. You diversify people's gameplay and keep old gear relevant. These are a few small ideas you can easily implement at very little effort in lineage 2. Diversify people's gameplay and make them feel less stuck in some aspects while keeping the power progression we enjoy about mmos in there.
  10. Is there a way to contact the devs for feedback and some ideas? I have some very interesting proposals that I believe might make lineage 2 the best mmo in the market or at least competitive with the top 3 ones like wow, ff14 etc. Making lineage 2 lots of money, increasing retention, playability, and legitimate player enjoyment
