Events are the proof no one from the staff plays the game. @Hermes roll a new char and play for free for a week or two - you'll see how welcoming the game is.

I started playing 2 weeks ago. I don't know how much adena people can make around level 90 with a full army of boxes, but for me it's impossible to participate in the event.
