This would imbalance the game greatly.

The drops in PI are non existent if you don't have a drop rate rune, even then one would need years to farm enough scrolls for various things that need enchanting and upgrading. Since the update its a good day if you get one scroll, but thankfully we are getting boxes for toon bound spectacular stones we cant use since we cant upgrade the equipment stones are supposed to go onto.
How about you just make the scrolls also account bound and make them rain so we can actually do something in stead of w8sting our time in these timed zones. The philosophy of last few updates is to create a PC running mobile game so go full out on it. Make everything toon bound and lets get away with this pesky game economy. That way you can sell items at ridiculous prices during promotions and players wont have anything to compare the price to.

You expect too much from a 3 month and a 3 week old hires. Even if they replied here what is the point, they have no power. It is obvious this region is being managed by some mid tier pencil pusher in korea that thinks murica is the land where cash flows and credit cards have no limit without understanding that majority of population in this region is not in murica.

outside of playing the market for which you need to have a significant amount of adena to start with, the only reasonable way to farm some adena is by farming mark of battle by running 105 toons on olympiad, with marks you can purchase skill books that sell for some adena
only issue is that if you are really good and have enough toons to run full oly per month you are looking at getting lets say 60-ish billion, which at current nccoin conversion prices is 30USD, is it really worth spending 16h (i think its 16h of olly per month but correct me if im wrong) of hard work per month to make 30usd?
better buy ncoin and sell event boxes.

Certain jewels were purposefully omitted from the ncwest version of L2 to make the promotions more relevant. These jewels will never dome into crafting, and besides like you can craft anything with the crafting system due to such low compounding rates.
Apearance stones for weapons wont be coming back since "weapons cause lag" but its more likely they dont want to adapt old models for new classes.

I'm not making excuses but since I work in the same industry I know that the guy probably has more important things to do atm than come up with ways to compensate you. It can wait. Its enough they didnt shut down both servers and caused a whole other fun situation.
I dont participate in this jokes of events and promotions they are trying to milk you for. You trying just gives hermes the numbers to show to his superiors. I log in talk to ma boy @Roxx and just kill some stuff with friends. I dont work 8h days to come and work in L2.
Adena is just a construct mate, it has no value.

Said it elsewhere, gamma rays from THE SUN hit the 20yo hard drive they run l2 DB on, now everything is melting and knowing ncwest the backups are on the same drive. Probably juji fedexed the server box to hermes.

As the guy said in the post they will work out the compensation once they stop the meltdown of Chronos - he will update you later, didn't say he will update you in 37 minutes.
Can you imagine if the DB went all corrupt because sun blasted the server with gamma radiation! Omg your itamz could be melting away as we speak, and knowing ncwest the backups are on the same server.
That would be a calamity!
