Lineage II: Fafurion makes landfall on May 15, and there will be many item and system changes. These changes can impact the way you experience Lineage II so be prepared.
Epic Raid Bosses
- The entry level requirements for Lilith, Anakim, Valakas, and Antharas raids will be increased to Level 105.
- The Epic Dragons will now be level 118 and Anakim/Lilith will be level 110.
- The loot tables will be adjusted in these raids to reflect the changes in level difficulty.
- The Lindvior Raid will be temporarily unavailable after the update.
Class Transfers
- All 1st to 3rd Class Skills will be removed and replaced with new Novice Class Skills.
- All Skill books and consumables related to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class skills will be removed. These items can be sold to the vendor before May 15.
- All Summoner’s pre-awakened servitors and past awakened servitors (Cute Bear, Saber Tooth Cougar, and Grim Reaper) will be removed.
Item Drops
- Items below R-grade no longer drop.
- The drop list for all monsters between level 1 to level 85 will be adjusted.
Grade Penalty
- All item grade penalties will be removed. Characters will no longer be penalized for equipping items above their level.
- Expertise D - R110 skills learned by characters will no longer be part of the game and will be removed.
- Some equipment items like the Dragon Shirt will still have level restrictions and can be equipped when certain level requirements are met just like before.
Expertise Runes Removed
- With the removal of the Grade Penalty, expertise runes will no longer be usable in the update and can be exchanged for Powerful Fish for a limited time.
- Dual Expertise Rune R99-grade (30-day) Packs will automatically be exchanged for the 30% Growth XP/SP Runes (30-day), which stacks with normal XP and SP Runes.
- Expertise Rune Packs will be exchangeable for Powerful Fish through Fishing Guild Members in each town until June 19, 2019.

- The number of total clan members and elite clan members for each clan will be reduced starting at clan level 6.

Clan members will automatically be kicked out if the clan exceeds the maximum number of clan members according to the following rules:
- Clan leaders and elite clan members are not automatically kicked out.
- Clan members are automatically kicked out in the order of last login from the oldest to the most recent.
- If two or more characters have the same login time, the one with the lowest level is automatically kicked out first.

Game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 5 a.m. PDT / 7 a.m. CDT / 8 a.m. EDT / 1400 GMT+2 will be unavailable for approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes.
With this maintenance:
- Standard database maintenance, migration, and application restarts will be performed.
- Oriana’s Lucky Draw has been extended for another week and will end in two weeks.
- 15th Anniversary Server Settings has been extended for another week and will end in two weeks.
- Circlets of Power will be in the store for 1 last week.

If you have names of bots to report, please use the bot report function in game and submit a ticket through our Support channel.
If you write to Support to discuss with them the issue with bots, they will direct you to the forums where you are welcomed to discuss the issue. The forums is simply not the channel to report other players and bots.

Scammers
There are unfortunately unsavory individuals looking to make a quick Adena by gaining your trust or by misrepresenting what they are trying to sell or buy.The best way not to get scammed is to be extremely careful. Take an extra look before pressing okay, and be aware of the potential risks you’re taking on. Be wary of any character who asks to talk about a trade outside of game (Via Facebook, Discord, Skype..etc), as they maybe trying to gain personal information or hide their true intentions from our in-game logs. Our Support team will not be able to help you restore items lost as a result of a scam.
Bots
There are some individuals trying to game our system for personal gain and profit. We do not support any kind of automated gameplay in our game, and any accounts found doing so will be closed. Our team closes numerous accounts daily for illegal third-party usage, and will continue to do so.We have an in-game system that allows you to report cheaters and automated gameplay. You report them using the ‘Report Auto Hunting’ action button. Only use this system to report characters you think are being suspicious – abusing this system may result in actions being taken against your account. You can also report illegal automated gameplay through our Support system, and if you chose to do that, please clearly indicate what you’re seeing and the offenders’ names. Please include screenshots if possible.
Adena Sellers
Unfortunately, the same individuals who exploit our system with illegal automated play are also trying to make a quick buck at your expense by illegally selling you Adena. We handle these accounts the same way we handle illegal automated gameplay—by closing the accounts as soon as we discover the activity. While it might not be the account that has been spamming you, we close accounts daily and will continue to close them. You can report Adena Sellers through our in-game system by right-clicking their name in chat and select ‘Block Adena Sales’. You can also report illegal automated gameplay through our Support system, and if you chose to do that, please clearly indicate what you’re seeing and the offenders’ names.Do not buy Adena from Adena Sellers as that supports these illegal activities along with putting your own account at risk.
We understand that seeing this type of behavior from other players can lead to a frustrating experience. We are continuing to mitigate the impact of these types of activities as we continue to improve our detection methods and use the information provided from the reports that come in from our players. Hi all,
There will be an unscheduled maintenance starting at 3 p.m. PDT / 00:00 GMT+2. The maintenance will be approximately 40 minutes.
We will be resolving a few backend issues, teleport on death issue, and issues with brooches.
