I do not understand the logic of the nerf, is it because of harrasing solo archer or feoh hurting xp spots? At 1200 range, they can park in the middle of 3-4 xp spots and just harass people without end. I've seen them and it's annoying but I'm not one of them. Both my feoh and archer stayed with party of 7.
Roger That, they want the ranged DD's to have to do a little tanking now too.

I dunno i slept through most of it
but the XP boost from the event is what really helped.

Dang, so i was trying to level up my summoner the other day and someone named ladytania pk'd me for no reason, i went back to town and get my free buffs from the NPC and decided to go back and try to level again, all spots were crowded so i went back to my original spot and settled in for the hunt. Dang ladytania came over and PK'd me again for no reason. im just sitting here at Oxford University doing homework and trying to level my summoner minding my own business. I went to town got buffed up again from the free NPC and went back to my spot and ladytania PK'd me again. Damn so this time i gave up and logged in my alternate toon ... my other summoner with a different name. try to hunt the same spot thinking ladttania had a beef with my main toon but she dont know this new toon. wouldnt you know it she PK'd me again. So i wasted a day getting PK'd and im at Oxford so i have to go to class now.
Not a true story but i think it helps to possible see things from all perspectives. i dont condone actual BOTS, but i do feel that many people on afk macro are getting picked on by people who mistake them for BOTS when they arent actually BOTS. even with that said i dont really care that it happens either way.PK and PVP is part of the game and the weak get killed easy until they struggle to gear up and level up then they can PK for the hunting spots..Its a dog eat dog world and i wouldn't change it. when i go afk macro i know damn well that i might wake up to a dead toon. thats life.

Well i just went from 101 to 105 in BS just to try it. took from the day the event xp boost started till yesterday, not sure how many days it was but it was a lot less than 20 with the event xp boost full vitality pots and xp runes. so it is doable. It is definitively a hard stop at 105 though.
i stand corrected, msEVE my apologies.
i think this could be a way to go if your struggling to gear up to be able to afk macro HB or some of the other places.
I couldn't imagine trying to do this without event boost. to be honest.

I really do wish the NCSOFT had a place for information on everything in the game. This game is so in depth that its impossible to remember all the little notes while you are playing..
i wish soething would allow you to read stuff ingame.
i dont like having to resort to 3rd party sites to get almost accurate information.

HA! I have one toon at 105 and has since left the BS nest and is now in HB. and no my little baby YUL is not in paulinas. well one earing and bracelet are still paulinas. im not saying i have good gear. in fact my gear is barely better than paulina, +5 Light Armor and a +7 R99 bow some basic jewelry and stuff. so i do contribute to the game. . the dualclass on my YUL is an OTHEL and i have +4 R110 dual dagger. not expensive or powerful but definately not paulina. and definately contributed to the economy.
my box ISS is 104 and still in paulinas.
i have all my other toons under level 101 and in paulinas. it would take ten years to gear them up. im struggling just to keep gear worthy of my level on my main toon and failing BTW.
Also... make no mistake im not complaining about getting PK. i dont care at all. most times im killing for my hunting spot too but dont act like killing low levels is anything other than just as fun as squishing bugs. i cant wait to squish bugs too.

easy way to get adenas is to buy emporer pots in L2 store for ncoin and sell for adenas. sometimes people pay around 15mil each.

I think they PK paulina bcause they know they are low level and weak and easy to pk. simple as that. im not complaining, but dont act like its anything more than that.
They got to start somewhere and you have to farm paulinas before you can afford anything else.

Yes Oct 30 they did that but on Nov 6 it felt like they may have given a little back.

BTW not to start a flame war but in BS the shorter range kinda helps keep the toon from roaming too much on macro. I get PK'd 50% less now that im not roaming into other peoples area while on macro. sometimes i wake up and my toon is still alive hunting. such a nice feeling. finding the bright side
That being said, i would much rather have my range back for places where the monsters actually hurt when they get to me. now im thinking i need better armor.

Has anyone else had this? I was macro hunting for a while, when i looked to check on my progress my xp was very low and my toons hunting very slow. turns out my ISS had all the reuse buff turned off. i am very certain that when i let they were turned on.

i guess i have to go back and re-read them. i gotta figure out how to get my skills that require forgotten spell book chapter 1 x5.
BTW i had 1200 damage spell books and it took all of them to get the forgotten spell books to learn 2 skills. now im out and in need.

Confirmed same lag for me very strange game freezes on my screen then speeds up almost like a rubberband effect.

Does Blazing Swamp monsters not drop damaged spell-books anymore?
i havens received one from a drop since the update and i need a bunch of them for my forgotten skills.

I can confirm Flame Drake in Blazing swamp has the bug for sure.
i thought it was a Halloween thing since the drake changes from solid orange to solid black.
but the XP boost from the event is what really helped.
