I am not gonna lie, Essence (l2 Aden) is not that hard, you can still catch up within a month or so, if you know what you are doing. Real numbers, with $300 right now on Aden, you can do a lot, with $300 on Live servers, you cant buy anything at all or whatever you buy, its not gonna be enough.
I came back on february, spent a good $2000, I was lucky enough to get a ruby 5 for free and a Blessed valakas from an Event and once the last update hit, when they increased the difficulty in mobs , i had to throw anothe $1000 to buy gear to be able to earn 320m/day in the IoS instance.
The money you need to spend is unreal, if aden was not out, I would for sure be close to 4.5-5k already and like I said, no pvp, no action, nothing, just watch your toon hit mobs and babysit it, when you need to go from one location to another.
Sure I am missing endgame content, but to get there, I need like a good $2k more, you can join a ToI party at 113 in some cases or 114. If you really like L2 and want to enjoy it, then I would suggest you try Aden (you still need money) and have fun.Yea, that's why I plan to not start buying boosts like prestige even if it's cheap. Also I tried essence in the past and it's a very weird game to me, doesn't feel like L2. But then again, I think none of the version today fit the good old L2 at least from official servers. NCSoft just decided to throw the game in the trashcan and not bother about their product. I'm just gonna play a little bit and find another game or fresh upcoming priv server.

Well thanks but it's not worth to spend 100$ for all these bonuses at this point in the game, I will play a bit and leave when I hit a paywall

Your current gear, paired with the blessed exalted set and making it +10 purchase from store, and with 2 iss (pom and swm) you can do quite a bit. You miss agathions / artifacts / la vies / cloak / and multiple other things. Try to do the starter quest in gludio on your toon. See if you can for the la vies and quests.
To farm adena, you go to primevil isle, isle of souls, tower of insolence. These are listed in order of difficulty.
The game isn't as bad as some claim, but it's not viable as a free to play person. What fun you can get is truly up to what u want. The game is meant to be played afk 24/7 until you decide to do dailies or pvp. There's fun to be had for the right people, and how much u need to spend to have fun is totally up to u to decide.
I dont see prestige in shop, also, when you buy Blessed exalted heavy armor bundle from shop it comes +10?

As others have said, if you don't plan to spend any RL cash, there is no real future in this game. But maybe that isn't so for you.
Single target can work to clear a single spot of mobs. Yes AoE is typically better.
What exactly are you wanting to do in this game? Fun? Farm? Solo? Party? Compete? Pvp?
Well there used to be clever ways to make adena but all of those are gone, my goal was to at least have a way to progress and build my char without having to spend more than a subscription like in other mmorpgs. It's just insane that the game has nothing to offer now. I expect to have fun progressing and get to a point where I can be less than a non-factor but from the looks of it you will need 10k$ just to be barely viable. So yea I will most likely quit.

Well i changed my fists for slasher and made kamael titan... it has SA crit rate + crit damage and crit damage... later i will change to better but i heard its best to go normal crit damage at first

You don't really need to dual titan. Red Libra is on, choose whatever race/class you want, level your character to 85 (20 minutes) claim free stone of destiny (one per account), switch to titan. That option will be available for 2 weeks. I know Kamael titans work well, again for specific class advice on titans post in the relevant forum to get attention from people that play the class.
How come pskill over normal damage on titan? they used to be all about attacking not skills

Which iss, up to you. Hiero is best in terms of damage. Personally I prefer domi cause it's easy to keep them out of party without running complicated macros. Downside, you need a clan that both your main and domi can be members of, and it can be a bit expensive running a domi [they burn through spirit ore for buffs]
where to farm, nowhere till 109 or so. After that Isle of Souls is good adena for an hour (+ any overtime you buy with ncoins) [you can enter IOS at 107 but probably can't really kill there till 109] and Forrest of Mirrors that you can pretty much farm 23/7
Keep in mind 105-109 will cost some adena, drops suck, consumables are expensive so spend your money wisely.
Also it's a good idea, if it's a new character, to try and 105 main and dual class in the "free" week of vitality rune you get at 85. Right now with the event buff it's doable.
I hesitate between: evi, gk, titan, maestro or spoiler
Ppl tell me to go titan but idk if i should, also if i go titan i must make it on dual because i dont like orc race.
What race is best for titan? I will pick that race make a main class and make titan dual.
Can i play titan with light set to share with main class? Or titan use heavy all time now? -

AOE is optimal exp/farm. Optimal isn't always attainable
Ok I can try that, do I need evi + iss box? which ISS, hierophant? Also where to farm for adena and items with evi?

Actually, I've been playing a bit and the game has just too many issues. Thanks NCSoft for ruining the most fun mmorpg out there with crap design that caters to p2w whales and keep normal players out of the game by making designs that normal people can't make any adena or any items even if they pay with real money they still don't make items. Game crashes for no reason also and launcher think game is still running lol. All good, dead game and devs should have seen this coming with their designs to only keep whales and push everyone else to quit.

So, there is not a single way to progress from zero? That's nonsense. I don't expect to be a top player but I expect to be able to progress in some way. Is spoiler any useful here? Are there spots for single target farming or all is AOE now? What kinda instance I can make maybe in boxes that I can farm solo etc etc.
Again, I am still trying to choose what to play, and the gear i mentioned i can sell for other gear -

I have ~19bil cash, +12 PVE R99 fists 3SA (which I can trade for similar weapon), some basic gear like ring of creation, baium, circlet.
Overall I am not very rich and I was thinking to come back to play.
What class should I make so I can start farming some adena and why? Or what strategy/trio boxes can I make? -

I never really spent too much time enchanting cause I always failed so I gave up a long time ago but now I want to try again. I need tips because there are many new items in game like save tickets and giants scrolls, stones etc.
My question is:
What is some strategy to enchant weapons to +12?
0-2 normal scroll
2 giant scroll -> what if +3/+4/+5? use giants scroll again?
at what + i start to use blessed?
how do save tickets work?
is it worth to use heavenly scroll which cost 6+b?
Or should i not bother enchant to +12 and buy full weapon +12 30b -
It would be a good idea to put a mechanic that allows to upgrade the stage of a SA on a weapon. Some weapon have stage 6-7 SA which costs already adena but then if you want to make it lvl 8 you have to lose it all. It would be good that for a fee you can upgrade the stage of a SA and also while I am at it, we should be able to pay some fee to change SA without needing a new crystal because stage 8 is expansive. I think it would be faire to put a fee which is high but still much lower than the price of a new crystal just to change SA. Because if you want to buy a weapon and it doesn't have the SA you want it is very frustrating to know you need to change the SA and it's bad for peer 2 peer buy/sell of weapons.

Try as much as possible to use something that share same gear, I forgot if you can take a tyrr dual since u are tyrr main because at some point we could in the past, if you can take tyrr i would say dreadnaught since u will share same gear and pole is generally cheaper weapon and its the best aoe class and ur GK is pro single target raid killing. If you cannot make tyrr dual i sould say depends on what set u use on main heavy or leather. If you use leather yul would probably be best choice. You will also be able to use it in pvp better than other choices. I would say go for yul cuz any other class will cost u really a shit ton to gear up. Rogue was another choice but ur GK is already a single target DD melee range. My char is yul/GK but yul main and gk sub and it makes alot of sense.

Account limit is not a solution just stop repeating it and think with your heads, also you are forgetting that it will be another blow for people who want to farm in game for items instead of p2w so you will make the game even more p2w if you put account limit.

You guys keep taking this argument which is invalid cause you are jealous that you can't run 7 accounts. Stop it, account limit is not the problem it was working without a single problem before update. They need to fix the real problem not put a band aid on it so that it can mess up even more in the future.

In this case it can be modified, instead of 1 shot for 1 hit, could be 1 shot for next 1000 hit or something and cost of shot price would increase to make it even so the same in the end. Even if you do 1 shot for 2 hits it will reduce shot lag by 50% so it's pretty considerable.

This guy has a pretty big point, wouldn't it be a good idea to remove shots and just integrated it on hits instead of making it a consumable item? ALL effects of shots would be integrated in hits and the consumable part of it would be removed. In the current state of the game shots don't make any adena and it's also unfair that bssr is much more expansive than ssr. I think removing/reworking the shots system to alleviate server load without removing any of the effect of shots would be a good decision. Shots were a big part of the economy before but in this state of the game it doesn't contribute to the economy in any noticeable ways.
