Update is alright , nothing significant as I believe ppl were putting hopes that feoh will be new Death Knight ,
Obviously to feel the update you need items , changing SA like the guy above me said its like tear in the ocean ,
You will need a bit better items to feel it properly
Einhasad Necklase +Pa'agrio earing+eva ring + lv3 or above wings of splendor , obviously artifact m crit skill rate +7 or above ,
In other words you need gear which is not available or costs mortgage ,
I have 646 crit rate without POM and tbh it still feels like 30% crit cap when hitting single mob and it meant to be 60% ?
Its update which requires $$ to feel difference , so kind of no difference at the moment after update
Edit: apart from Einhasad shop I can feel difference after update everything is more expensive now.

To make price less - its not solve any problem, because this people who not pay now - not will pay newer. I cant imagine that Russians, Moldovians, Romanians, Grecians, Polands, Ukrainians, Lithuanians, Latvians, Brazilians (its base of NC.West gamers) and etc start pay for game... This never not will happen. If here in forum cry about "prestige" price... what can more say... they not have or not want pay even simple 15$....
Well your logic kind of denies everything , people from "poor countries" certainly would pay for stuff but NC was selling chances(boxes) so why people have to buy box and get roses/pots if they are "poor" they cant gamble alot ,
I'm a middle class I would say , if i see promo with boxes with 65 items in it I skip I dont need pots , if i see promo with real stuff I spend 100$ sometimes more on it as I know i will get it (cloaks, growth cookies, kain enchants like now) , otherwise I wouldn't pay for chance which will give me nothing ,
Not sure about others but thats my opinion and my choices
And I bet Latin or other country man which you mentioned would save 10$ to buy ruby lv5 or something if they would knew that they will get it 100%

People buying boxes to get some gear which ncwest starve servers to that point, but all they get is cookies
and few forgottens , tbh i can't blame ncwest for not replying for last few day as it would make even worse and they wont change anything, they probably made like 50k in first day of promotion, so why change something
