Here you go Enthu, after 3 days of free farm in garden you finally managed to put that 5 clans zerg together, that was really fun to watch.

Nah your group was too easy to beat. The 200+ man CC brazilian zerg we are fighting is putting up more of a fight than you guys. Unfortunately we are only 1 clan, so we cannot simultaneously beat your group AND a 200 man enemy CC.

Aden servers cost at minimum $150/month if you want to be remotely competitive, and that's just from a purely maintenance perspective.
Once the p2w items start landing on the store, you can add around $250/month on top of that.

The only timezone that kinda works currently is EST, which is at 5:00 PM for them. Most people are off work by that point and can participate. The problem begins once you start including the rest of the country, however. By the time you get to where the server is located, 4:00 PM, you are already starting to run into issues.
As you get into mountain time, and then Pacific, it goes from bad to a complete joke. The NCSoft West HQ is located in California, which is at the 2:00 PM Olympiad time I am speaking about.
Having to be at home in front of your PC by 2:00 PM on a Weekday, means you are ducking out of work at 1:30 PM or even earlier depending on your commute home. This is the middle of the work day.
To call this a complete joke would be an understatement. As others have mentioned, it is a "compromise" for the Brazilians, and mostly for the Europeans. But guess what? The Europeans already have these exact same servers, with all events set around their prime time gaming hours. Meanwhile, our own NA servers, NCSoft West, are totally throwing Americans under the bus for the benefit of the Europeans who already have their own Aden servers.

There's not much else that needs to be said.
Olympiad, on an NA server, for an NA player, at 2:00PM on weekdays, is dumb. Period.

It doesn't matter. An NA player having olympiad at 2:00PM on a weekday is stupid. No NA player should have to deal with that on NA servers.
There is no compromise here as long as it's at the expense of NA. I don't care about EU. Go to Innova/4Game for that.

Most of NA is still at work for Olympiad and PG bosses. This is simply not acceptable for an NA server.
If Innova/4Game EU Purple and Ruby servers didn't exist, then I could see your point. But EU players literally already have these same servers, with timezones that are catered solely to them.

This here is NA. There should be no compromise for EU players here at the expense of NA.

What are you talking about. Everything else is catered to Europeans and Brazilians. Orc Fortress is the only prime time event for NA, and you want to take that away from us too?
You are right though, this is an NA server. Let's continue to remind NCSoft West of that, because they seem to have forgotten it.

I don't think there will be transfers for a long time, as both servers have a very strong population currently.
As for being an American, you are probably better off staying on ElCadia. Blackbird is around 90% Brazilian/Latin. To put this in perspective, there is only one competitive American clan on the entire server (TheWhiteOrder). All of the Brazilian/Latin clans allied together in a zerg in an attempt to push off the only American PvP clan on the server so they can free farm it unopposed. TheWhiteOrder is at war with over 15 Brazilian/Latin clans, and beating them all.

ELCadia server time is 100% catered to Europeans and Brazilians. I'm fine with that. Give them their own server, that's cool.
Blackbird, on the other hand, is an NA timezone server. The fact that Olympiad is at 2:00PM on Weekdays is unacceptable. I live in America. I play on an American server with an American timezone. And yet, for some reason, I will NEVER be able to participate in Olympiad because I would have to be home from work, sitting at my PC, by 2:00PM.
There is no excuse for this. There is no compromise here. A compromise would be pushing it back at least an hour, preferably two.

The facts are that these times are beneficial for Brazilians and Europeans, at the expense of Americans.

2:00PM start for NCSoft West is the same as 7:00PM for Brazilians.
That's a pretty big difference, and hugely beneficial for Brazilians. NCSoft is clearly putting Brazilians ahead of their own NA player base.

Jujiman, thank you for all your hard work and dedication over the years. You have welcomed, embraced, this absolutely bizarre community with open arms and firm hugs. You put yourself out there for the community and did the best you could. The glorious memes about you were oftentimes better than the game itself. The Ricardo Milos gif meme with your face superimposed on him is still the GOAT.
With that being said, congratulations on your new upcoming opportunity. It's about time, and I'm glad you are moving on and moving up. You are 1000% making the right decision here.
