Blackbird is 90% Brazilian, so I don't expect to see too many people commenting on here in support of this topic. Because these times benefit Brazilians, to the detriment of Americans.

Really? 2:00PM Olympiad start time during weekdays? This is a North American server, why are you catering Olympiad times to Brazilians? @Juji
A huge amount of Americans won't even get to participate in Olympiad on North American servers.

I don't see them opening up a 3rd server anymore. I'm sure the decision was made weeks ago, but they haven't announced it for some reason.

As for balancing on LIVE and CLASSIC, I go back to my original statement about how it would have just taken a little bit of effort to accomplish.
Well Classic is completely dead, so we don't even have to discuss that version anymore. The Koreans stop development on Classic years ago.
As for Live, it would be extremely difficult to balance those servers that are nearly a decade old. The amount of p2w on them is unbelievable.

Aden is far better than either of those two server types.
As for unbalanced, Live servers are the biggest unbalanced joke in L2 history.

As I've stated previously, Aden/Essence servers can't handle a server continually being at max population. It leads to lag and the crashing of the server. This is the way that NCWest has chosen to fix the lag problem, and it's mostly working.

@Sunshinesemi related, but please send it up the chain to have the attendance event extended by 1 week. I know multiple people who are going to miss the Antharas doll by 1 or 2 days.

The problem is that this event is priced for a server that been up for a while, not a brand new server. Adena is too rare and valuable right now due to the fact the servers are still so new. The pricing of this event would have been fine for a server that is 3+ months old, when there is significantly more adena in player's inventories.
But as of right now, given how valuable and expensive adena is due to the current server situation, this event is a total ripoff.

With that being said, there are 3 different options here:
- Reduce the simultaneous client limit from 10 down to 3-5. (seems unlikely)
- Open the 3rd server (seems unlikely, but more likely than #1)
- Continue with how things are, until enough players quit and the problem fixes itself.

The facts are, that Aden/Essence servers just don't work when you are floating at max population constantly. EU Blue server had the same exact issue, which lasted for 3 months straight, and was never fixed. Because there was no fix for it. The only reason the situation eventually improved was when players quit due to the lag.

The Aden/Essence client is the best L2 client ever made.
Is it lacking in content? Absolutely. But the framework itself is top tier. Siege and Oly mechanics need to be significantly improved, and there needs to be much more endgame content (which is coming).

They should just refund you the L2 Coin you spent to lock it.

This event is kinda terrible. It is clear that the main goal of this event is to simply remove adena from your inventory, and from the economy as a whole. Which is strange, because the server is so new and there is so little adena on the market in the first place.

As nice as the daily benefits are, the real can't miss item is the Antharas Doll. I don't want anyone who starts NA Aden during the launch window to miss out on the Antharas Doll.
Missing out on it would be a huge loss.

They used to be included in this version, but were removed about a year ago. The removal dramatically lowered the amount of xp areas when this happened.

@Jujimany people started either a few days late, or rerolled shortly after launch, and will potentially miss getting the Antharas Doll by a day or two. It can also be stated that Blackbird in particular hasn't had exactly the smoothest launch, and extending this event by 1 week would allow for everyone to obtain the rare and valuable doll.

Not gonna happen. People have already invested money in multiple chars with the understanding that they could all be farming simultaneously on 1 client.
That mysterious 3rd server does need to come online, though. Two servers just isn't enough capacity at the moment.

That is definitely not a guarantee. Unless the DK transform information was a mistake, there is already shown the potential for Aden specific class tuning.
IMO, it is more likely than not that the PK system will probably get some tweaks as well to accommodate this particular region.
As for L2 Coin prices, I agree with you. The coin prices is the single biggest question regarding Aden servers.

L2 Coin prices, class balance changes, PK system, etc. There's still a lot we don't know. But regardless of what is announced beforehand, we will find out all of this information in 4 more days at the latest.

You can only give to party/clan/friends songs that can learn lv 2...which currently are Earth, Wind and Hunter, but you need rare spellbooks for that.
Also keep in mind that there will be *TEN* boxes available so...worst case scenario you can level up singer AND archer at the same time and decide on ur way up which one to gear up and build as main.
SWS offensive is kinda meh, it survive current meta and all reworked classes but by itself he does no damage...i remember 2 sws on essence EU: when i was dagger he was not killing me but i was reflecting back a lot of dmg...then i rerolled to BP and i used to fight an SWS with more gear than mine but it simply couldn't get my HP...mostly the fight was over due to MP issues and boredom cause we couldn't kill each other.

Keep this up, guys. One of my first forum posts here in the Aden section was talking about the sheer potential you have with this project. It is a gold mine. This is the perfect way to kick these servers off.
Quite frankly, I'm impressed. Even the most jaded members of the NA community will be surprised by this news. Keep this momentum going!

I can't say for sure whether Bolsonaro himself created this start time. But what I do know for a fact, is that he's laughing at the Americans who are playing here right now.
NCSoft West should just pack up the offices and move from Southern California to Rio de Janeiro.
