attacking from front or back

Hello all

I noticed that when attacking a mob (turak bugbear and warrior) from behind i seem to be doing more damage than when attacking it from the front.

The mob doesn't seem to be carrying a shield  

So its the direction of my attack that deals more damage? anyone noticed something similar?

The damage difference seems to be around +20% from behind and it applies to critical hits also.

you are right. from the back you will always deal a bit more dmg as from the front

Higher crit rate from behind and they will not block with shields if they have them.

i remember that one. Since it was just about the dmg i thought, that the crit rate difference was just "lucky".
