By a single message from them , you mean the video that was captured showing a whole top clan exploiting a jump at siege grounds on siege time where is absolutely not allowed and was posted on forums and and had like 200 posts in 1 hour?

also what is worse than ban?

also what happened in the video?

    also why 480p?

Hmmm... well if you pause the video at 4:05 when you step onto the teleport spot you are claiming is an exploit (which looks pretty accessible to all players openly from your video), your location seems to change from Aden Castle to Aden territory. If the game considers this location aden territory and not aden castle (siege battle ground), and the spot looks accessible to all players, what exactly is the issue with players using this spot this since all can use it? shouldn't you be crying to gms to change the game as you usually do versus just calling people cheaters and exploiters?

There might be a small glitch in the game. if you use it to gain advantage, you're exploiting. This is the very meaning of exploit. Siege grounds are by game rules an area you cannot jump to. There is this glitch in this particular spot, MS exploited this to be able to keep Aden castle. 100% exploit. 100% shameful.

    Greetings Adventurers,

It has come to our attention that many players have been exploiting inaccessible locations of the game. These locations have been used to create unfair advantages not intended by the game.

We will be adjusting a few game systems to prevent further abuse due to these terrain exploits. Using game exploits is a violation of our Rules of Conduct. Any players found exploiting the game by any means will result in actions taken against their account(s). If you have any inaccessible spots in your My Teleport bookmarks, please remove them.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

Your words, your rules @Hime @Juji .Please follow them.

  6. Not married and making money on my own. Forced idealist is an idiotic term. Nobody can force ideas. Your choice to follow them.

Not American but Londoner so Redneck does not apply

Cheaters are in every MMORPG game. Been there for ever.

I am workingm having social life and still enjoying the game with my cp without burning money.

I have made adena by doing market, so have my playmates. Really not that hard

    :)

Enjoy your amazing way to play. This is my last reply to you since I cannot bother anymore. ppl like you dont have a long shelf life in the game anyway

  7. Cruma Tower used to be (and still is) one of my favourite places.

This is a suggestion on revamping the place as below:

Cruma Tower will provide two different instances within the location. At the 3rd basement there will be a pvp allowed farming instance, while at the 2nd basement will be a pvp enforced instance that will end in 1st basement against the Raid Boss Core.

    Check image link below:

    https://imgur.com/PU9eAhh

    2nd Basement:

    Requirements: 2* 7ppl parties

    Description:

    ·         Each party will start from spots “*” and will not be able to reach each other from the way point between them. In every room ahead there will be 1 Elite mob (small RB) and X amount of mobs. By attacking the boss, all mobs will aggro. Social mobs will aggro when attacked

    • As soon as a team enters a room, entrance and/or exit door will close until the boss is dead.
    • Every boss will give points to the Team as below:

              1, 3, 5, A, B, D, E, F = 100 points

              2, 4, C, = 200 points

    • Doors will open as below:

Killing boss in Room 2 --> Doors towards room 3 and 4

Killing boss in Room 4 --> Doors towards room 5 and +

Killing boss in Room C --> Doors towards room D and E and F

    • Bosses that give 200 points will have more HP and do more dmg and their rooms will have more mobs.
    • Last rooms will contain Seals “+” that have to be broken, by attacking them, in order to open the same colour doors.
    • Room with “TP” will have a teleporter that will teleport to 1st basement.
    • At 1st basement there will be a gatekeeper boss that will open the door to CORE boss when killing it.
    • At last room there will be the last RB “Core” that will award 500 points
    • Killing a player from the rival team will give 20 points
    • The team with the most points after Core is Dead or time expires wins
    • Another 500 points will be awarded to the winning team
    • Points will be able to buy xp scrolls and various ingredients

    For your consideration @Hime @Juji

    Thank you

Bro, its a crazy idea to put the blame on me coz I tell the truth...I did not make the strategy to squeeze money as much as it can from players, NcWest and corean devs did that.
You will come to my conclusion very fast...just lvl up try to farm in good areas. In 30 min a toon will come to kill you and take your spot....if your toon are not staked with money you just go to town and do what you like most...admiring architecture :x. Also try to do instances with a good dps group, if you dont have items they will not invite you ...again admiring architecture :x

1.I've been pk'd once for xp spot. Came back later pk'd back and took the spot again. Did not spend money just to get items for that. This seems kinda manic

2.Sure you did not make the strategy to squeeze money, but you follow it AND recommend it to others as the new norm. This is your fault only

    3. I have been a l2 player since 2006. I find it really odd that people are ok to throw money on a toon just because they got pk'd and think that acquiring items effortlessly, will make them OP. You may buy all the items in the world. You cannot buy fingers and/or mechanics knowledge

4.Sorry that you think that ppl won't invite you because you have no items. You want to join the game and find the best dps group to carry you in instances? right...Probably you lack patience more than you lack items. This game is aaaaaall about patience. 16 years old game my dude and you want to get the full experience in 1-2 months? I would recommend any other game that is not progressive MMORPG

    5. I started the game again 6 months ago. In 6 months I have spent money for 2 rune stones 200% xp, 1 prestige pack and gambled 5 night boxes(just for the sake of it). I spent this time learning about new mechanics, crafted my gear, joined an active clan, joined a cp and this boosted my xp and gaming experience WAY more than you boosted yourself by burning $$.

Also during this time, I am trying to convince players like you, that by not playing the game as intended and just throwing money in it, they destroy a very old and still very enjoyable game, by creating a market, that in any other game, the community would have found it absolutely unacceptable.

You need to rethink about how you should be playing the game my dude

Listen Uncool, our fellow players give him good advices...theres not need to go redneck to prove your point.

I have no idea what a redneck has to do with anything but sure, If your idea of good advice and not scaring ppl away from the game is to tell them to spend $10k right from the start, then buddy, you should rethink what good advice means.

My advice to anyone playing anything,is to not spend mindlessly money and play the game 1st, with a character that they think they will enjoy.

Get all the info you can about characters, but dismiss the dudes that tell you that you need to pay the equivalent of a car for pixels. It will take you a lot more time, sure, but you will get to truly play the game.

To play archer really you need invest 50k$ minimum to maximize everything but main is skill critical chance and damage.

what the actual ****!! If anyone has given that much money in a game it's really sad.

You don't need to spend that much money. To be honest, you don't need to spend much if you want to actually play the game as intended. To spend a ridiculous amount of money totally defeats the purpose of the game, which is PLAYING it. If you want to do something NOW NOW NOW , then this is not the right game for you.

Lineage2 is a heavy p2w game, but it requires time (a lot of it), good investments and mechanics knowledge.

It is worth playing any character you like. Farming comes in many ways (market, fishing, mobs etc).

  11. Hello fellow GMs and community,

As we all know, L2 has become a heavily pay to win game. Lineage2 was never a fair game, but it would always give you the option to be able to farm items, if you were in a top clan/ally and/or have your cp. This happens today as well but, let's be honest, all top items and even ingredients for them are being currently acquired mostly (if not only) through events, that require an idiotic amount of money and have turned a hardcore MMORPG into an online casino game. This does probably work in Korea, where the mentality is p2w. But in the West?

In the company's defence, I totally get it. In order to reach targets, in a not so populated game that exists for so long, you need to be able to have a steady revenue, which comes mostly through events. The events' poor design and the many many errors and lag problems, make me suspect that you guys are probably understaffed and struggling with your equipment.(Either this or you dudes need to replace some of your staff)

But is this the way to keep one of the oldest games alive and well and make it profitable enough so it can evolve in the future and be even more profitable? Sure now with the pandemic, the game became more alive, but the pandemic will end soon(hopefully) and then you will need to attract new players and make the old ones come back. Because even in this state of the game, people (myself including) still love this game and no business has survived by trying to milk the already drained customers, without trying to attract new ones or/and without offering new content. So in all honesty, a big part of the community just wants to see this game becoming better and more popular.

These are the problems I can identify:

    1. A huge amount of items or ingredients are not accessible through playing the game (as intended in my opinion) and are only available through events.
    2. A good 60% of the game is underdeveloped and at this moment it looks very lazily put together (throw a bunch of mobs in area A and a bunch of mobs in area B etc)
    3. There is little focus on group playing (which is the very meaning of MMORPGs)
    4. No advertising (either from company or players)
    5. No new content or good/original/interesting revamping.
    6. No original and/or interactive events
    7. You base your revenue in a small number of high paying players instead of trying to attract more people and increase the game population. Which means that, as the population shrinks, you are trying to profit as much as possible from the existing players, by making the game more p2w and thus shrinking the population even more.

I believe that there is so much potential in this game and probably I am not the only one. Since this is a "Suggestion" thread, we could come together and suggest ways into making this game better

These are some solutions for the above:

    • Make instances more rewarding. All instances should give a box that contains almost all items of Night market box (exclude Dragon Weapons, DW fragments, Boss/Dragon Jewels, talismans, jewels) and add all enchants and enchant stones with adjusted rate, add Ether and blessing fragments and bloody/dark stone fragments. Solo instances would give a regular box with low chances and all other group instances would give a box with higher chances, according to the difficulty/level and limit those rewards to X per PC or IP for every instance.(this will also encourage group playing)
    • Create farming quests and World boss, epic boss quests that will give as a reward items/ingredients.Add more and better daily Quests and weekly quests. Add quests in general. Quests are awesome.
    • More world bosses.
    • Add more instances. There are unused areas that can offer so much fun in the game. I understand that NCwest does not have a developing team, but probably you could, with the community's help, to offer suggestions to NCsoft
    • More interactive events. Keep your P2W events to reach those targets, but interactive events mean more people will participate for longer. Make group events (pvp and/or pve). Your top gear atm is too easily obtained (if you have the money) from your events, but this is how you remove the incentive from people to group together and strive for months (which means engaging players to play for longer) in order to obtain top gear. If I can spend X amount of money to get everything I want, why would I bother actually playing the game?
    • Clans should be able to level up a bit easier than it is now, to encourage new players to step up and be more welcoming to a group of new players that want to join the game as a team.
    • Incentives for selected Streamers (your criteria), pve/pvp Video competitions, artwork competitions. Make the community do the advertising for you.
    • Use your suggestion box. Encourage people to participate.

I believe that there is so much potential in this game and probably I am not the only one. Since this is a "Suggestion" thread, we could come together and suggest ways into making this game better by suggesting specific things (event ideas, revamping ideas, ideas in general etc).

Apologies for the length of the post.
