We have contacted a few affected players privately to obtain more information regarding the problem, and after conducting an investigation, we have verified the following:
The "permanent" Emperor Cocktails reported to be replaced by the cooler's time-limited versions were never intended to be permanent. Instead, these Emperor Cocktails were all obtained through the 18th-anniversary event using the Coupon 18YEARSOFLINEAGEII. This code rewarded players with 150 items supposed to be removed during the maintenance on 5/25, as advised in the event article.
The confusion happened because we did not carry the item removal as intended on 5/25, so the expiration date on the tooltip disappeared, and the items remained in the player's inventory until now. Since the Cooler Cocktails are the identical versions as in the 18th-anniversary Coupon, they stack, and the new expiration date is displayed.
However, be advised that all Emperor Cocktails received from the 18th-anniversary coupon code will be removed on 07/27, regardless of whether they were stacked with the Cooler versions. Furthermore, there is no mixing of intended permanent Cocktails with the time-limited versions from the cooler.
I hope the information above clarifies what happened, and I apologize for the inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

HermesYou and your staff are wrong again. Those items were deleted only if they were in players inventory. Since they were given through the dimensional merchant some players decided to keep them there until after the deletion date. When they claimed them through the dimensional merchant to use during this exp event is when they did NOT stack and disappeared from players inventories. Maybe try a new investigation, or maybe get some more experience before making erroneous statements.
Here is a better suggestion though....stop putting deletion dates on items and let players use them at their own convenience

the server isnt even showing a "heavy" population, its still medium on both servers....neither server is even close to maximum capacity
unless there are 100 accounts logged in that arent accounted for by the servers? maybe invisible account or proxy server users?

Hermesthe problem is constant with huge lag spikes happening occasionally....i know you are new to your job, but you can learn these issues by logging in only for a few hours a day
you have free to play people exploiting the lag, and you have paying customers who are becoming victim to the lag

Hermesany update on these issues? i am unable to exp during this "exp event" because all of my cocktail buff potions disappeared
lag is making it impossible to even open coolers

i said it years ago, items and buffs should be used on the players time...not the servers time...especially in a game that takes a lifetime of investment
even the timers on runes for example, why do i lose time on an xp rune when im logged out? what if our internet goes out for a day or 2 or 3? we lose 2-3 days on our rune for what reason?
what if we are somewhat normal and only want to play a few hours a day, but we cant because we have to get every minute worth of xp rune that keeps counting down....just pathetic scam after scam

Have you seen server items lately on Naia which appear? I just saw couple of friends box openings and it is mostly potions 95% of the time, lvl4 gems which they already have, even Artifact book enchant (come on..), rarely an items that they could try to enchant like Dragon Earring, enough Splendor Fragment and the list goes on and on.
Like we need even more XP right now and not items?
Other than a Prestige & Destiny Pack (buying from player with Adena), my overall purchase is at 15$, which is not going to change much since boxes don't provide at a decent rate new items on the market that could actually benefit most of the players.
Just an example: Red Libra m, no Bloody or Dark armor stones on both server. What kind of logic is that?
So stacking Adena more and more until something appears worth to buy. Not reinvesting Adena to buy boxes, because it is in average 40% or more Adena waste, not enchanting because the server rates are pointed to 0.01%.
Eventually some items appear which I might use to try some upgrades, like Authority Ornament, Splendor Fragment, a Blood, Ring/Earring/Necklace so I can make God items, basically the items that appear so rarely that the whole server needs them and refuses to spend 5-10k or more, because it is not normal to pay outrageous prices to get 95% of the time again XP potions and only occasionally an items.
I wouldn't be surprised that the electricity bill is higher than the actual return value of the pay event for some players here around.
$50 is about the cost of destiny pack + prestige pack
so what happens to your L2 career when the people providing your Ncoins decide to stop paying this NCscam garbage?

I already stacked Brilliant Rose's, and other boosts for upcoming XP event. Don't need again the same items over and over again.
Knowing how it is gonna end, one must spend approximately 250€ to get a Venir 18 & Insanity and a bunch of Brilliant, Maphyr Potion and some other junk we have in mass.
Most of people are looking for the Authority Ornament, if it happens like some events ago, the reward will not even appear.
We got exact same promo couple of months ago, and except Brilliant Rose's & Potions, majority of people I know and who spend 500+ maybe got 1 out of 1000 boxes a top 4 row items. Often the same.
I'll keep spending the same amount now 3 months in a row : Destiny & Prestige Pack and I am fine since no real items are on the market for 6 months now since event boxes don't drop them.
Keep ignoring the pay events as they are not rewarding in items and they might give us an actual good promo event with a lot of items that have better rates.
umm...why are you relying on promo sales event to get in-game items after you spend $50 a month and stay in game 24/7 ?
