Greetings everyone.
I'd like to take a moment to introduce you to Wissp! Wissp will be taking over for Arctic, who unfortunately is leaving us at the end of this week to pursue a new career track. We wish you all the best in everything you do, Arctic!
Wissp has a great background in the gaming industry and has already jumped head-first into learning Lineage II. He's super excited to be here and we're just as excited to have him join the team and start getting to know this strong, passionate, Lineage II community. We know he'll do right by all of you.

Game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 4 a.m. PT / 6 a.m. CT / 7 a.m. ET / 12 p.m. UTC +1 and will be unavailable for approximately 3 hours 45 minutes.
The following changes will be made to the game during this maintenance:
- The Libra Merchant event will continue for 2 weeks!

- Special crafting will end next week!
- Hero’s Treasure Chests, Packages and Tokens will be removed on 9/14.

Hello everyone,
I know the situation is not ideal. We have our entire team working behind the scenes to get Chronos server back online as soon as possible.
The issue is much more complex than previously thought, and a lot of work is being done in our Database to ensure the problem is resolved for good. Also, it's not only us here at NCW working to resolve the issue, but the dev team is also involved in the work needed to bring the server back online.
As I stated before, we will plan to compensate everyone once the issue is resolved, but as a direct measure, once servers are back online, the Angel Cat will be spawned.
As most of the work is related to the Database, which is immense, the process is taking longer than expected, and we will need to extend the downtime again. We expect the Chronos to become available at midnight on 8/28 PDT.
I apologize for the inconvenience, and I appreciate everyone's support.

We love Brazilians! Unfortunately, your country's online Contest/Sweepstakes regulations are SUPER stringent. We had our Legal Team evaluate and I'm sorry to say that that their conclusion was that it is impractical at this time for us to be able to include Brazil in our Contests/Sweepstakes. Residents should complain to their country's representatives, for as soon as these regulations are lightened to the point where we can include you, we will happily and excitedly do so!

Unfortunately, even if we gave them away randomly on the forum, we'd have to provide Sweepstakes Rules and the same countries would only be eligible to participate. (See earlier response provided to TheWall).

We try to include as many countries as we can when we throw online Contests/Sweepstakes but each individual country has their own online Contest/Sweepstakes regulations that have to be met in order for us to be able to offer our promotions to their residents. Some make it easy, some make it INCREDIBLY difficult, and if our Legal Team cannot meet those regulations, we cannot offer these types of activities in those countries.
There is another service that offers L2 to European countries, so our Contests/Sweeps cannot be offered to Europe. We can offer them to the U.S., Canada and a few Latin American countries. We are constantly checking in with our Legal Dept. to see if anything has changed for countries outside of that - so that we may include them.
If you are finding that your country is commonly not included in these types of promotions, it is because of their own rules and you should contact representatives and let them know that they should change things to make it easier for us to include you - because we truly want to.
