    I gotta be honest here man. I think you're forgetting how things work. You're not supposed to be able kill us (Duelists aka Tyrr classes). It's always kind of been a "maybe". 

    I can remember when Daggers just didn't bother with Tanks. Nukers mostly targeted warriors. Archers killed robe classes.  Etc 

    This is why it's good to have a variety of classes and blend things for pvp. But yes, when a server has a majority of one over the other I can see how the frustration would set in. 

    "Balance" is for WOW. There's always been atleast one or two classes that were OP/flavor of the year. You should be used to it by now. 

    Tyrr just finally has its turn. That's all.

    I'm a little confused here guys. 

     

    I've played this game for nearly 20 years, as I'm sure many others. Yeah okay, we know some people spend quite a lot and that keeps things "going" in a sense.

    But why the absolute disregard and disrespect lately? I rarely see a positive response or communication with the players. Even the ones who DO spend the big amounts.

    You can see how this can be very frustrating I'm sure, no? 

    We're simply asking for some type of response or understanding. If you guys were to come on here and just explain "hey listen this is this and this is that". At the very least we can all go "Ah OK, I got it" and from there we can choose whether or not to continue to purchase. 

    But to post nothing ? To ignore everyone? I don't get it.

    Me personally I really don't gaf,  because I don't spend much at all. But I have watched the events get worse. And I have watched the content get less and less. 

     

    You guys honestly owe it to your community to at the bare minimum have some interaction and dialog so we know wtf is going on. Yknow ?

    I hope all these complaints and concerns aren't falling on deaf ears, but I'm surely not holding my breath either.

    Imagine if L2 was launched as it is today, NO ONE would even think of starting this game that requires monthly rent instalments to be average.

    Give me an example of a new player, starting now, and how will they even get a r110 NORMAL weapon, in less than year... I will wait.

    I started playing again 2 months ago and I've got decent gear and r110 Enchanted Duals made from scratch. I just did alot of the events and made alot of mentees.

  5. Forgive me here, but maybe I'm confused. 

    Does this not mean you can now stack all of those? "Overlap" would mean to me that before all 3 would "replace" one another. 

    How is this bad? It makes everyone "stronger" for that duration of buff, no? 

  6. You have 12 slots. Use them accordingly for what you want. You don't need to have 3 target macros. And a PP will regen faster if they're only buffing one person. 

    Try this : 

    Target the person you want to buff before you start the macro. 

    1./useskill Might

    2.Shield

    3.Haste

    4.Focus

    5./attack

    6. Death Whisper

    7. Bless The Body

    8. Wind Walk

    9. Counter Crit

    10. Magic Barrier

    11. /target name

    12. /delay 500

     

    Change out the buffs if you're a mage. Just drag them from your skill window into the macro. This way you don't lose auto follow while buff .

  7. Update looks good! 

    A couple recommendations that I think a vast majority of the community would like see 

    1. Allow the ability to show debuffs on Mobs/Raid Bosses again. This gives everyone a better opportunity of understanding what does and doesn't land and when to cast again. 

    2. Possibly consider increasing adena rate in higher end areas. This will allow the economy to improve as well.

    3. Open up another castle to be seiged. With there only being one, it leaves those that may be less geared to not attempt at all and ruins live pvp action,which this game IS based on. 

    4. If not seige, maybe consider Fortress Battles. Those were always fun. 

    5. Take another look at Epic drops. Since the previous changes, we've noticed that it is actually more beneficial to do lvl 75-80 Raids and get more. I don't ever remember that being the case before. That's great that they're lvl 85 and harder to kill, but the efforts put in don't translate to what they are currently dropping. 

     

    All in all, update looks good and I'm curious to see how the new Clan system will work.

Atk. +43 for one-handed swords, one-handed blunts, daggers, spears, and other weapons. P. Atk. +77 for two-handed swords/blunts, dualswords, and two-handed fist weapons. P. Atk. +126 for bows. M. Atk. +43 for all weapons. Even if enchantment fails, the item will not be crystallized and will retain its enchant level. Cannot use on weapons enchanted between +16-+19.

  9. As of late it seems that some of the GM's are starting to take "some" advice in terms of stuff towards possible changes/events, etc. 

    So I'd like to suggest something in an attempt to add more "content" to the game. I'm sure @Juji and @Hime could bring this up with the team and implement. 

    I would like to see an Event that is purely based in a PvP Zone. Possibly in Fantasy Isle or some type of "Instance" . Where the drops/rewards would be great. Nothing like weapons, etc. But enchants, enchant stones, pots, buff scrolls, soulshot tickets . All stuff that can be used in game towards your character/gear but nothing that is going to seem as tho it's P2W. 

    You could even make entry based numbers and on class. Something like a 3v3 or 7v7. Whereas you need to be active or your group is removed. This way you can't just enter your buff bots and run around. Buffs would also be removed upon entry. So you'd be forced to actually make a legitimate party.

    I'm not suggesting that we treat things as a illegal server, but what I am suggesting is that the events be fun/rewarding and social. Rather than just kill x-amount of mobs , collect this, roll dice. Make it difficult to get the items, but also include PvP in it. 

    This again, is just a suggestion or idea and I've love to see what others have for ideas. But I think with the current status of the game, we need something to spice things up!!

    Perhaps it's my latency but it's always been a nightmare to try and land a melee skill on a SLOWER target running away from me.

     

    That's always been like that. You need to click past that target/character and then use the skill. Just holding the skill won't do it unless you're substantially faster. 

  11. Noticeable Issues: 

    1. No 5th Bar (Could NOT find any such button "Turn On/Off Support Bar"

    2. No Assist/Buff/Follow/Delay macro loop at all...which means your group will likely not attack the same mob, or buff you, or buff itself, or follow you....which made EVERYTHING better...AND now you'll spam all your stuff to run out of mana and die.

    3. You can't see buffs/debuffs on your target window anymore. Why? Now we have to guess if our debuffs landed or not? This makes raids/pvp nearly impossible to properly prepare for. 

    I like how the bars and interface look. The character selection screen and a few other things..but these issues pretty much make or break a casual player that runs a party of their own. 

    I dunno @Hime @Juji There might be something you guys missed or maybe got wrong. I just don't see how this benefits anyone. And yes I've read the other thread that says they've removed this stuff in other regions, but there HAS to be something you guys aren't seeing that they are doing. Because this makes zero sense.

    They spawn randomly in small "ponds". From the port, if you go straight there will be some in the water there. Turn left and go over the first hill, right around there will be more "ponds". 

    Some ponds will spawn 3-5. Some will have bigger spawns of 10-20+

    Of course I could still get around that by setting up each machine on a proxy since lineage 2 isn't really that sensitive to lag and autohunt is done server side.

     

    You can only force people so much because it's just a game and people will just move to a game that is fun. The carrot approach is by far better but is also harder to achieve.  Hell the reason I've stuck with this game is because of the old school boxing that I started back in closed beta. If I can't box I'll just move on to a better run better setup game.

    All things I'm very aware of, so no my idea is not "terrible", it's a simple suggestion. 

    Maybe the limited accounts thing is pushing it a bit much, so ya I get what you mean. I still stick to what I said that I think there needs to be a change. Will it happen? Very unlikely. But I think a large amount of us can agree its current state is a bit ****.

    That's my whole point. It's either gotta be the content of the game or other limiting factors. Allowing unlimited clients is a bit much, in my opinion. 3 was pretty good, I think! Again these are just my opinions but I think alot of choices made have done more harm than good. And maybe, just maybe if we all talk about it more and try to make sense of things they may change some stuff. Who knows! (likely wishful thinking though lol )

    lol! True, but usually in that case it's limited to IP address. I'm just giving examples to "force" people to party/make friends/clans. So that activity/community is higher/better.

    There was a long post here on the forum sometime ago about Pay-To-Win is a hoax. You think you pay to win, but you do not actually win, just paying for the illusion.

    Are they have more fun too? Well it is up for debate. :)

     

    That's an interesting outlook on it! I mean for the most part I just play to play. I don't really want to spend $$$$$$ on this game anymore. But I'm sure plenty can agree that it's kind of crappy that unless you want to be competitive you almost HAVE to invest into stuff! Especially since farming adena/mats , crafting, drop rates are all super duper tough for the general population that doesn't "bot" and doesn't have time to sit in front of the computer for hours on end. *shrug* 

  17. Likely going to get some blowback from this topic but I'm curious to know how many of you/us would play a server like this?

    No VIP System

    No Macro Looping

    1 Client only (Monthly Sub $12.99 USD so NC still makes money)

    Events that are farm based only. No Ncoin purchasing to play L2casino (lol)

    L2 Store only consisting of maybe some cosmetic stuff , soulshots/hp pots and maybe something like a variety of mounts. 

    actually feel like this would be a good thing for many! I'm sure that they could just make 1 server like this and people can choose which way they want to go. 

    What you guys think? I'm probably dreaming, but I'd be williing to bet that would bring back plenty of people.
