  1. @Wissp @Hermes This poll seems like a drooping attempt at damage control. Please just stop the smoke and mirrors and be present and effective; that’s all we want. We all know that NCWest can only really impact the types of events we have, the prices, and the odds. If you did this in a balanced way (i.e., stop being so greedy), you would have more and happier customers. We know the content comes from Korea.

    So please just improve what you can; after all, prices and odds are the most important issues. There is no need for a poll.

    Thank you for finally responding, even though it seems that this is only due to pressure and the alternative of not responding looked more and more ridiculous each day.

    Unfortunately, it is too little, too late...in all the years I played this game the community has never been more upset with you. Many players have already turned away from the game or have agreed to stop investing in it. My sincere advice to you is to properly apologize, end the event early as a sign of listening to your player base, and promise to bring it back soon with significant improvements. 

    If you want to press the “reset button” on what the community thinks of you show some kindness, humility, and respect. However, I understand that I am probably wasting my time as communication with this new team often feels like talking to brick wall.

  3. In my opinion, @Hermes, you're playing with fire here. 

    I know that many players tolerated the other event nerfs (which we did notice), but THIS event is special to the entire server. 

    If you take away our one big chance to develop for the next year, many people will lose motivation to play, and I don't need to tell you where that path leads. 

    It's also bad business. 

    We have the lowest gearing of any server (by a long shot), and many players have saved for this event, only to find out it was a waste of time to invest in.

    Please reinstate last year's event, including the previous year's rewards, store events, and odds.

  4. @Hermes @Wisspthe thing what I really don’t understand is the silence/arrogance/ complacency or whatever is it.  People are asking for red libra now maybe it’s not your plan right now and thats fine, whats not fine is a total lack of communication, at least Juji would say not right now or soon or there are some technical issues.

    I have never in my life thought that a successful business would so openly ignore it’s customer’s. Honestly do you feel comfortable with it as a working “professional “? I certainly would not.

    We probably all seem like a bunch of animals 😀, but a little time here and you will see it’s just a frustrated response to what is often unfair and untransparent treatment.

     I think a large part of this is down GM’s and management not really understanding the game mechanics and what’s required to make a dynamic and interesting server (and likely bigger profits) and too much pride not to admit it .

    Rather than considering the future, I urge you to try and resolve something for this compensation issue. I will give you a few good reasons.

    1. The server down time was much longer than any we have had in many many years, perhaps since teething troubles at the start of Lineage 2. Compensation for much lesser  issues (in the past) were often better.

    2. Mail and toolbars have been messed up requiring time for the player to put things right (Considerable time for some)

    3. We in general had some hope of better NC / Customer relationships with the arrival of Hermes, I think a lot of this will be lost without just a bit of humility and kindness. It’s a bad move politically not to listen and respond in my opinion.

    4. The compensation sucks really because it’s out of date. When this dragon weapon event first arrived years ago there were only a few weapons of this type on the server, everyone was interested to try them out. Now it’s full of them and we know that +18 or more krishna is better for general use. The largest majority of players simply don’t need or want a 1 day dw. Most people have the same or better.

    5. the 2 hour vit doesn’t work either because most of the xp was lost in dethrone  when the server was down and for all of Europe thats through the night when they are sleeping.  Dethrone gives most of the xp we get in a week and we lost 33% of this. leveling in normal places on the server all week with full vit might just recover what was lost, hence why players were asking for 7 day vit runes. They didn’t just make up a figure, it’s what players consider fair.

    6. I don’t even know where to start with the lost olympiad except to say the biggest spenders in game that probably gave up precious weekend time to compete had for some a deeply unfair outcome.

    Bit of a long post but I hope it clarity’s a few things.

  7. what rubbish lol, are you serious?

    There isn't a single thing of any use at all to players over 105 :P. Lost dethrone, oly, swamp , euro dailies and basically a day of xp with a 2 hr rune :P. its insulting.  Do you have any idea what your doing ?

     

    Players posted what they considered fair compensation and we get this :D haha...its not even worth logging into account to claim.

  8. Welcome Hermes and also Ando, Some of what you say makes sense. Thing is also your one of the most greedy and selfish players on the server, so can only be trusted so far. But sometimes you speak the truth and hit the nail on the head.

    I think a balance on all this should be about what can be proved is what should be listen to....ie somethings on night market cost more than on store at normal times which is just stupid. Also how we compare to other servers.

    Also its true that the relationship with game community vs Ncwest is just broken, I hope that you can improve this and wish you all the best.

  9. Was excited about Neutral zone, area too small, no spots free and if you actually find one high lvl players come and kill you. Like the same xp for regardless of number of players concept.  Look at the size of Ketra/ Varka compared, Tiny area for the majority of your player base lvl zone, doesn’t make any sense.

    Don’t like swamp Nerf. 

    Where are 110+ skills? Quests factions. We all need things to work for.

    Making mobs hit harder doesn’t effect high lvl  players so I don’t know what your logic is there?

    Also that was a very long time to wait for such a small update, come on NC what’s wrong with you?

    I just think that to produce them at such a late stage is unhelpful and shows a lack of consideration that we have all come to know and expect. Its not normal though and I like to remind myself of this once in a while :D. 

  11. @Himehi do you think the sort sharp (almost dismissive ) response is reasonable of a gm and employee to your customer base? We only wanna know what to expect from an update that will effect us all in some way. It’s normal for most big organisations to give reasonable advance notice of changes. It is not unreasonable of us to expect patch notes a decent amount of time before it becomes live and you damn well know it.
