Cloaks at +7 for the proc, +10 for 1st Aug, +15 for 2nd Aug, +18 for cap on proc buff

Cloak is also one of the best things to boost dmg on any dd. Weapon is def important, but a mediocre wep and a +7/10 Elmore vs a good wep and no cloak, I'd take mediocre wep with the cloak.

Good to know. Ideally I would probably try a +7 Aden. Seems like it would be cheaper than making my R110 bloody, cause that's bleeping insane.

Yes, they were sold in different pack variants. Last time tho, the safe scrolls for 10-15 weren't offered for purchase, even through hero coin. So we didn't see many go past +10.

Thanks for the info. I'm not aiming that high though, my other gear is pretty mediocre so if I invested a reasonable amount of real money it would be on a weapon first.

This should be our next 1 or 2 major item events. It's been a while.

Cool. Hopefully it will be soon. Were enchant scrolls also available at the store? Cause right now the price for one scroll is insane.

  4. Obviously play whichever class you enjoy the most, but Sayha's Seer is not the best DD so it will take you longer to progress. At 99 go to Blazing Swamp (faster and easier than War-Torn Plains). It might be hard to find a free spot, though, but give it a try. At 99 you can get free buffs from the NPC. If you find it hard to solo, there are many open rooms in the Party Matching window for BS frequently. Once you complete the early Exalted quests (I can't remember which, I think it's the 1000 mobs one) you will get new better gear for free. At 99 you can also join parties to go to Abandoned Coal Mines which give you a lot of XP and help you power through the quests.

  5. Horn Melody lvl 5 is supposed to give P.Atk + 30%, M. Atk + 100%, P. Def + 35%, M. Def + 40%. However, lately every time I use a cocktail, normal or 8 hours, there's a bug or something because Horn Melody is giving P. Def + 100% and M. Atk + 30% instead. Anyone else noticed it? (I'm on Naia)

The main difference between the second part of his video and your video is the +20 crit rate skill enchant which leads me to believe that the enchanting skills for crit rate makes a huge difference. This makes sense because your crit rate was 37% with POM while his is 70%-75% without POM. Try changing your enchant to crit rate on your +10 skill (the books to change the enchant is only like 5m or something) then try your test again.

That's interesting. Anyone knows if it also works for magical skills? Because I'm not sure whether to enchant for power or crit rate.

My point is that even during the game's heyday, when it was at its most fun ever, most people still played the market.

As someone who was one of my servers first billionaires over 15 years ago back when most people were still in B and C grade, the market is a viable option. Sure, you don't have to do it. And yes, sometimes it does feel a little too much like work. But even the day to day grind feels like work once the novelty wears off. Wait until you get to 106 when your XP rate slows down painfully and dramatically. You'll see what I mean.

From the start Lineage 2 was meant to be a hard core game, but they've taken that reputation and mythos to a ridiculous level now that it's almost impossible to earn adena by hunting alone.

I'm not high-level, but I'm 108 so I know what you mean. My point is it's perfectly legit to play the markets to make money, but it being *the only* viable option besides spending real money is ridiculous. So I agree with your last point.

By "fun", do you mean spending massive amounts of your hard-earned real money to play this game? If so, then no need to post here. Just go buy 20,000 Ultimate Jewelry boxes and sell them to other players. See how fun that is. RMT-lite is the only way to earn income in game if you aren't going to play the market. Good luck either way.

Absolutely not! The problem here is the game mechanics and the way NC has decided this game works, not how the players play it. The criticism was directed to NC, not the players.

I can think of a few things. And sometimes it's not what you sell, but where/when you sell it. Patience is key either way.

Ok you people are being ridiculous. This is a game, I expect to have fun when I play it. It's what it's made for. If I wanted to play the markets I would play the real markets and try to make some real money out of it.

P./M.Critical rate is different from magical skill critical rate. They are different stats. M. critical rate maxes out at 500 generally speaking. But magical skill critical rate doesn't show up on your Character Status window.

As you've probably already guessed, it's a little dumb for feohs to have a magic skill crit rate  since all of their skills are magical. At least with archers and melee you can say that they have the choice to hit you with an attack that doesn't use a skill at all.

Taking this into account, naturally there aren't as many ways in game to boost magical skill critical rate, but they exist. You find them in agathions (Capricorn), weapon SA (R - R99 mage swords enchanted to at least +4 also get a magic skill crit rate boost), jewelry (like Queen Ant's Soul Ring. Blessed Valakas necklace), artifacts, augments and so on.

I'm not going to go down the entire list of items that increase magical crit rate, but just know that there are plenty of ways to increase it. Most feoh usually get one or two items to boost magical skill crit rate, but the majority of their adena goes to items that increase magical skill crit damage, magical skill power and m.atk.

So if I already have a M. Critical Rate of 500, should I look for ways to increase M. Skill critical rate? For example, some skills can be enchanted with a Wild option, which increases their critical rate. If I enchant these skills as Wild, will I crit more with these skills even if I still have the M Critical Rate stat as 500? In other words, is it better to enchant skills for Power or for Wild?

From now on you can no longer use auto-hunting to farm your adenas in low lvl chars, and then you can go back to farming in high lvl chars.

I was banned permanently by NCsoft for using 9 accounts in ROA making adena, they say I used bot, but wait, who here would use bots in an account with lvl 80+ chars? who here would use the same accounts that are VIP 5 and VIP 6 to farm adena with bot with the possibility of being banned? Obviously nobody would do that, just as I would never do either. I was just farming my adenas in ROA to buy supplies for my party lvl 80+ and I was banned.

Congratulations to those involved in banning a player who has been playing since 2009 when the server was still being paid, who buys Ncoins periodically.

    @Juji and @Hime

    Ticket of Ban (23487465)

You're being banned because you're ruining the game for everyone else who just started and is just trying to level up and do some stupid quest for XP, and maybe some money too. You and all the other assholes who swarm ROA with auto-hunting little bitches and just come in and literally steal the mobs from genuinely low-level characters trying to play the game. Good job NCSoft for banning you.
