Hyperthreading on or Off? Also make sure you set main client priority to High in Task Manager!!

Hello

After setting main client to High Priority I notice awesome performance on siegies and what not

Can I further improve this by disabling Hyperthreading on i7 2nd gen processor?

Or is it not worth it because of other benefits on PC performance?

HT is generally useless, I keep mine off since the first gen of the i-series of Intel CPUs. On Ryzens it's implemented a bit differently, so there it has a bit of a difference. And not to mention that HT has some gains only if you're using all the threads at the same time, like for example if you're rendering something. So better keep it off.

About the process priority, that works indeed, but it might mess up with the OS stability. Generally no process should be high priority, so it doesn't overtake the cpu and make it unavailable to other processes. Now if your system is stable, then sure.
