How good are daggers?

Are daggers good early game? Are they good in group pvp AND solo? How fast do they level compared to other classes?

Also dark elf is the way to go, correct?

Daggers are very dependent on critical strike and positioning.  In large scale PVP they are at a disadvantage as they dont have the ability to tank but have to get up close.  Generally ranged will pick them off as they come in.  The have the ability to 1 or two shot most soft targets but again it really depends on if their attacks land.  They have decent speed leveling since they have high dps.  The fastest lvlers generally are Nukers followed by archers.  They can be pretty nasty in solo ganking and small group pvp.
