I guess they just figure if they keep making posts promising things, that we will all just be dumb enough to think they are doing what they say? When in reality, NOTHING EVER HAPPENS?

The part no one is talking about is the bots. Bots can bypass the 3 account limit easily.
Having the limit only hurts normal players, it doesn't stop the bot train.. woooo woooo!

Typical @Connex poop on everyone and everything he doesn't like or agree with.
We used to spoil items, work as a clan to help upgrade people, every little bit and quest ultimately helped others. I can remember MANY days in the Monastery hacking away at angles or in the bowels of Rune. Even the catacombs was super rad.
Im not sure why you have to crap on everything everyone says. As I have said over and over, try being on the side of the players for once? Maybe?
Or not, whatever. Keep up the toxic troll.

Yup... 200$ for a single digital item for an anniversary event is beyond tone deaf... Especially after all the posts we as a community have been making about prices. It shows just how disconnected they are, or just how much they don't care, which means @Wisp's post about connecting with the community, was just more hot air.

-1 for the prices in Red Libra being more than at the NPC,
-1 for the collection being $200+ ... common man... two HUNDRED dollars? The game cost 40$ when it was released... Every time you all do this, it just opens that chasm wider and wider between the top 20 players and the other hundreds of players. Try setting prices so EVERYONE will buy one, instead of like 20.

Let's not forget the feedback everyone has LOUDLY provided that says we are tired of ridiculous prices.. and then they go and release an "event" where you need to buy not one.. but FIVE boxes to get the new collection which costs around $200 EACH!
@Wisp whoever is running your business, needs to reevaluate before there isn't any business left. Instead of GOUGING people for 200$ EACH, let EVERYONE have a phreaking chance at items, other countries server prices are nowhere NEAR what you do to us, why? Why are the NA servers so unfair?
Put these down to 25$ or even 50$ and people will buy them for ALL their toons, not just one. It enables EVERYONE to benefit.. not just the whales... like seriously... What are you all thinking?!!?!?!?
Why do you make a game for only 25 people to buy things when you could be getting revenue from hundreds if not thousands.. AND make the game more balanced and fun?

So far, as @Connex seems to be the only person that as reported getting a greater rune stone from the "event" I thought we would do some quick math for those people who only have one or two accounts.
Connex has opened over 2300 boxes so far and got one. When your boxes are limited to 19x7= 133 for the entire week per character, that is pretty poor odds of regulars players getting anything.
The chance is, 0.0004347826 or %0.04347826 of a chance to get a greater rune. After the entire server has been begging NC Soft West for months, their "Fix" was to give everyone at BEST.. a .04% chance. (note this rate literally gets worse everyday)
So in the words of the GREAT David Letterman, let's do a top ten list of List to put that into perspective!!!!!!!!I looked up some LOW chance common things.. you have a better chance of the following happening, that getting a greater rune stone:
10. Being audited by the IRS
9. Being struck by a Meteor (any size, not just a large one)
8. Getting a perfect score on you SAT's
7. Getting your Car Stolen
6. Getting Food poisoning
5. Being accepted to Harvard College
4. Being named Emma or Jacob (not even kidding 1 out of 222 kids)
3. Literally not being able to read, you have a greater chance of being illiterate in the world, that receiving a Greater Rune Stone in Lineage
2. Cracking open a double-yolked egg
AND.... the #1 one most ridiculous thing that is more likely to happen to you rather that getting a Greater Rune Stone in lineage 2?!?!?!
1. Your house burning down.
WOW, I don't know about you all.. but I am motivated to open some boxes now!!! Fun right? The Game is SO, SO, MUCH FUN like this!!!

FIX THE PLAYERS SKILLS. We've been asking to fix skills so they land in pvp for close to 4 YEARS. NC Soft west BROKE pvp skils when they introduced god jewelry, which is why Korea and the others don't have the same problems we do.. so FIX THE SKILLS. PVP skills should land and when they don't, it should be a surprise. This would balance the server BIG TIME, because titans and DK's would be able to be locked down by clans, instead of them going 1 versus 12 and winning. It also would make support classes SUPER IMPORTANT AGAIN.

Your team did a few good stuff in the past like pushing Shilen's Soul Crystals Lv10, Dragon jewels (ring,earring and necklace), Top Grade Ruby/Red Cat Eye, but that's not enough. From a PvE standpoint, we're trying to keep up with the changes you made to mobs damage.
As you can see, the list of things we need in the market is quite long, and I think I forget a few things here. You need to take a closer look to what people need to be able keep up with the changes to the game and give us a chance to enjoy the actual game content.
I'm just repeating what the community already said in a lot of different post but thank you for reading!
Also, what we DONT need, is NC Soft West reducing the rates, making previous events worse every year. A NORMAL business model would have an event being expensive in the beginning (people pay to be first) and then later on that cost should decrease to ensure the server is balanced. Doesn't have to be the same event, but I think after 4 years, probably a good time to make the above significantly cheaper so normal players can join in on PVP.. after all the ENTIRE focus of Lineage 2 is PVP.

That is the entire business model, show all the great things in a box, then make it near impossible to get any of them! Again, in other countries they don't have this problem because their are laws that prevent it. Them doing it here is them knowing its very poor form, but not caring because there is no law that prevents them from taking advantage.

This ridiculous utterly garbage rate could have been avoided by simply making the GRS bound to the player.
But, once again, NC West to the rescue with garbage rates, lots of promises and zero deliveries.
You want to start somewhere @Wisp start here... basic items NC West has been dangling in front of your players, What's next? you going to remove crafting of soulshots? then put them in loot boxes with a .00000005 % rate? I mean why not?? You taken everything else from us.. why stop now?

"Your feedback and insights will play a vital role in shaping the future of Lineage II" l We gave 5 pages of feedback when you asked for it 6 months ago, NOTHING was taken from that feedback.
If you would truly like to make our experience more enjoyable here are some thoughts:
1. We don't mind loot boxes, what we DO mind is your rates as they are NOT accurate. Make the US servers like Korea and Japan, Make prices reasonable (your current prices on everything are INSANE, you need to drop prices by about 75%) when you say a 10% chance and we haven't received anything from that box at number 9, then it needs to pay out at #10 .. be fair.. you are not, and haven't been to US players.
2. Stop starving the server of items, your starvation increases prices FAR beyond what normal players can afford, and I'm not talking afford in game, Im talking REAL LIFE. You should not have to choose between rent, or taking a gamble at an item in a video game. Games are supposed to be FUN, L2 is and has not been fun in years. Starvation of items also keeps the rich rich and the poor poor. PVP suffers as only 20 people actually have similar gear in order to pvp, the rest of the server? Those 20 may as well be Gods in comparison. Forget balance, that ship sailed YEARS ago, but no one should be able to one shot an entire clan for 50 million damage, this is due simply to overwhelming gear discrepancy. If gear was cheap, most whales would have 10 geared toons, the money would still be spent.
3. lower the bar for entry SIGNIFICANTLY, if someone wants to simply be able to play the game, they need 4-5 forgotten skills, that is on average $1000 for EACH on a good day, that's 4-5 THOUSAND dollars to have a BASIC playable toon without gear. Don't you think its pretty outlandish to require a new player to dump 5k into a character (and that doesn't count its subclass) just to START your game? The books drop in game? yes, with the current drop rate, from Zero, it would take you 4-7 years if you just leveled your skills through drops.
4. Explain things. It doesn't matter if we agree or not, just EXPLAIN WHY so your player base has a chance to give feedback or come up with better ideas, or even *gasp* AGREE with you once we know. A great example is.. WHY DO WE NOT HAVE BASIC ITEMS LIKE GREATER RUNE STONES? And WHY HAVE YOU REFUSED TO RESPOND to posts with 2k+ views and comments about it?
5. Rein in your forum moderators, THEY GO WAAAAY OVERBOARD. We have a LEGAL right in the Untied States of America to post negative reviews and comments about a company and products via the Consumer Review Fairness Act. As many players here have spent THOUSANDS of Dollars on your product, when your moderators remove negative reviews, they are repeatedly breaking the law.
6. Stick to your OWN Eula: Players are expected to stick to the EULA, many times your GM's simply choose NOT to adhere to your own EULA, and their reason is simply, "we don't have to". If you expect your players to abide by your "contract" then you should also abide by said contract. Some legal advice that you wont take, when you break your EULA, you've in essence rendered that contract null and void for your players. They way this game has been run the last decade, this should worry you and your legal team.
7. We have about 10-15 posts a week in Forums, responding to 15 posts a week, if you TRULY are telling the truth and want to engage with your players, as a Community Manager, interacting is literally your JOB. Answering 15 posts every week would take you less than an hour. This without a doubt should be your NUMBER ONE priority.
If you don't have "time" to answer 15 posts a week, then no, no one here is going to take you, or your post above seriously.

Because I have read that from beginning to end repeatedly and I just can't seem to find any reference of any company gaining new rights to a game they already owned, that they previously didn't have.

If you as a player. like to run your own party, and have taken the time and the money and invested to have 11 player, WHY should you have any less chance at an item per account than everyone else?
People need to stop looking at things as being "unfair" because of time and effort others put into the game, and start looking at the root cause. GR stones are 170b in the AH NOT because of players having 10 accounts, it's because NC Soft West has taken an item, that used to be a plentiful drop in the game, OUT nearly completely. GR stones used to be about 15b, the prices you are seeing are a DIRECT cause and effect of the decreased drop rate.
Let me explain something real quick that people are obviously failing to grasp here. Normal players do not have gear to participate in things like sieges. If you flood the market with things like GR stones, then the supply goes UP and prices go DOWN, this makes things CHEAPER. CHEAPER things in the game, means more players, more people can enjoy the content of the game. Once upon a time, ALL players could FARM ALL things needed in this game, NC Soft West has made that an impossibility now. Adena is limited (unless you have multiple accounts) Ether is limited, and account bound, dragon claws are limited, bloods are limited, Items needed for enchanting, like goold and black cards, do not drop, pots do not drop, roses aside from what you get from dailies, do not drop, MOST ITEMS IN THE GAME DO NOT DROP.
WHY? Supply and demand, when the supply is low, it increases demand, and if you haven't noticed, NC Soft West will "price" items in their for sale boxes based on current ingame market prices which THEY control, through.. once again, supply and demand.
WE need to stop the trolling other people, WE as a community need to STOP placing blame on one another, WE as a community need to start focusing on the REAL issues, which is price manipulation through the starvation of items on the server.
WE should demand better.

Was this meant to troll us? Are you trying to make you player base even more disillusioned and upset than we already are? Do you just refuse to listen to us? I know the answer to all of these questions, I'm just trying to figure out WHY you would pretend to listen, pretend to care, make an announcement about "hooking us up" with boxes that drop greater rune stones after we have been BEGGING for them for 3 months, only to make the chance SO LOW, that none drop.
Why?
I have 11 account thats I have made over the last 16 years, I have opened 200 boxes 3 times now for a grand total of 600 attempts. I have not got even ONE stone. ( I have buffers and DD's all over level 118 that I would LOVE to have skills on, but don't due to your refusal to put the item in the game)
Now.. just to show how RIDICULOUS the rates are, let's pretend for a minute that I got one out of 600 (I haven't)
1 out of 600 WOULD have been a %0.16 or a 0.00166666 chance , yes that is nearly a TENTH of a percent of a chance.. and that is IF 1 out of 600 dropped. But.. ZERO have dropped. I feel the actual rate is FAR, FAR lower. No one likes how the game has been run lately, but this.. the way you have handled your player base and the Greater Rune stone starvation is an absolute all time low for you.. This is just shameful.

400 boxes, not one GR stone..... Things like this.. INFURIATE your player base... We have begged for GR for MONTHS, only to have you add them to box after box after box, with ZERO drops... NADA..not ONE GR dropped from any paid $$ boxes. Then you have an "event" where you needed to BUY boxes for money, then just say POOF to those same boxes and with a 1% chance to succeed.. which is just lighting money on fire. And did we EVER get all 5 rune stones in a day crafted? NOPE..
And now.. you get everyone excited, only to release the "pre event" with a .0000000000002% chance success rate.
GIVE US FREAKING GREATER RUNE STONES... This is stupid, it's a skill, make it a quest, make them craftable with in-game drops, put the damn things in the game, stop jerking us around.

Did you call the part where the drop rate is .0000000000000000000000000001%? I've opened 400 boxes, as I was VERY prepared... and i've got ZERO...
I'm starting to think the GR stones are bugged because they haven't dropped from any boxes in months. Or they just want to troll us and show how much they hate us and want us to quit...

I think these events are the best thing that's happened so far. They are SO HORRIBLY BAD, I don't even pay attention to the game anymore. The total disregard for the players from @Wissp and @Hermes has allowed me to simply laugh, and walk away. The request for feedback was a joke, the complete lack of awareness of how the game actually works, taking away our items WE PAID CASH FOR just for the lols... yeah.. THANK YOU, for making it easy to walk away from the dumpster fire!!
Just waiting for that Throne and Liberty Release and I won't ever have to worry about dealing with NC Soft West as a publisher for a game EVER, EVER, EVER again!

TWO Greater Rune stone in the game... TWO.....
One for 165 BILLION Adena.. and the other for the low low price of 350 BILLION adena. If you buy boxes and sold the for adena, youre looking at nearly $200 and $400 respectively. Apparently this is ok with NC Soft, that 2 skills for a level 110 character should cost somewhere between $600 and $1,000. Red Libra is dead, no one wants to change classes because they'll be lighting $1k on fire.
The worst part @GM_EVA refuses to reply to this or any other thread where thousands of people have asked for feedback. So much for "A new NC America" .. looks like its the same old NC Soft West school of business. Bad decisions, ignore customers and make a game so expensive no one can afford to play it.
