So this means literally ZERO thought went into this, yall just grabbed something from storage and said.. this works.
Red Libra and a 14 day XP rune, something SO simple, and yet no one in that office is engaged enough with the server to even understand how easy it should have been.

The people who are telling everyone to calm down, I think the point youre missing here is this isnt some other MMO, we aren't paying 25$ a month subscription, or we don't pay for DLC like NORMAL MMO's. EVERY single thing we do in this game costs money, and not just money but OBSCENE amounts of money. So when people pay $10,000 a year to play a game, there are some expectations that come with that price tag like:
Communication (it's terrible)
Frequent updates (LMFAO riiiight)
Skills in the game to work (What is it going on now? 5 years and PVP skills don't work?)
Classes to be relatively balanced (BWAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA)
The Server to be up and working properly
ALL classes viable (Looking at the Summoner class and Necromancer, 7+ years and STILL both are Pathetic)
So yeah, when those are most peoples expectations for paying 10k a year, and not only does NCSoft west Fail at ALL of them, the boink the server and now your hot bars are gone, yeah.. I can see why people are testy. Its deserved.... matter of a fact its overdue and Im SURE a good portion of the aggravation right now has less to do with hotbars and MUCH more to do with a deaf publisher that is running the game into the ground.

@Hermes Please remove or extend the times on the pots from the event. AWESOME event, but I've literally got thousands of pots and I will NEVER be able to use them in 2 weeks, they are also not tradeable or I would be giving them to my CP.
Can you PLEASE Remove the timer on the pots? or at the VERY least extend it by 30 days so those of use participating in the even can use our rewards?

You are the one that's annoying. The game costs tens of thousands of Dollars and you seem to be the ONLY one that wants to pay more money. How about you do you, and leave everyone else alone?

Youre obviously low level and dont realize its costs about 9k to level up all your forgotten skills, and there is a HUGE difference between 105 and 120, so no.. you just don't "reroll" to level 105.

Its been over six months, this took up like 3 pages of patch notes, guess this was forgotten? This is what happens when you control EVERY item in game and only release them though events. You forget and the players get screwed yet again.
@Hermes Maybe you all want to put this in the game like you said you did? maybe make it a raidboss drop? IMAGINE... being able to get items IN THE GAME without paying $$$$$ during a lame event? GASP... it just MIGHT work.. maybe you should give it a try?

They made a "fix" to the system 2 years ago but it wasnt working as intended so instead of making it work, they just got rid of it like they do with everything.
we should 100% go back to the old system of dropping items if they arent augmented and you have more than 10 PKs and are red.

I think what you mean is, other versions of the game give better rewards and you didn't properly adjust the name for the amount given, only the adena, as this is not the first time this happened. Just as other versions have the Eisenhad store to help prevent prices from skyrocketing (Literally every server except NA), or have events that are free and give out really good gear (Korea) , OR have loot boxes and if you buy a certain amount you're guaranteed the top item (Japan).
@Hermes Thank you for at least giving us what was advertised, in the past they wouldn't have done that, so at least we're making progress.

Agreed, need Red Libra Desperately. You "Promised" to fix skills, and didn't, so Id like to change to the same class as everyone else so I can play the game.

@Hermes @Arctic Fix the Frigging skills in the game so we can root turds like this, and silence them and fear them, make manaburn viable etc. This isn't even an mmo anymore, it's a collection game of crap so people can just turn their character on and watch it fight. Does this really look like "Fun" to you?

Yay, more "events" where you just spend money for a game where you refuse to even fix the skills, or have a proper server that doesnt lag, or listen to your player base.... All of which we've been asking for for YEARS.
Yay, so excited... YAY.. you guys are so awesome.. YAY... I cant wait to play this game more.. yay.....

And this all goes back to the last thread @Hermes and @Juji requested when they asked for feedback. That feedback was the paywall is insane and things are WAY WAY WAY too expensive. This is starting to feel VERY racist by NC Soft West, why are you treating North/ South Americans SO MUCH DIFFERETNLY than the rest of the world?
If this doesn't get fixed soon, I'll be moving servers as well.

We just released about 5k Greater Kaliel bracelets in the previous "event" as well as putting the Crystals of Dawn for an INSANE amount in the NC Store. If we kept the FREE bracelets in the current event, then you would be much less inclined to spend too much money in the NC Store on Crystals of Dawn. Unfortunately, we think you are all stupid and wont pick up on this, so we will not be putting the free bracelets in the Kamaloka event, but we will take it into consideration in the future, but we will need to make sure we do a better job of deconflicting our manipulations attempts with events that give out free thigs were trying to make you buy.
Also, please stay tuned for lack of updates as was promised last month, no real new content, and more "Events" that really just push this game into an online casino where we print money, because your actual "win rate" would get us all fired and shut down if this were a real casino.
P.S. We have no intention of EVER making this an actual game again, we just intend on sucking ever last dime we can from you, and instead of bringing in new players, we would just assume stick to our horrible business practices and try and take your money, only to close the NA servers down due to "lack of players" in a year or so. So please, stop complaining, it wont do anything because frankly we don't care. Were happy to keep up the sharade and keep pretending if it makes you feel better though, just keep giving us money.

They have somehow NAILED... almost to the dollar, what a ruby costs on the market if you were to trade NM Coin for adena... Which in and of itself would be fine, but for a game that advertises a "Player driven economy" NC Soft West controls the amount of items that come into the game, therefore controlling the prices so they can then have an event and charge inflated prices for items that used to cost 1/4 of what they do now when Jewels dropped in game from chests.
If the gaming companies had the same rules as other companies, NC Soft West would be indicted for fraud and price fixing. Shame on you @Juji

NC Soft WEST constantly raising prices for the digital items in game, taking items out of the game and not replacing and only releasing items through events has long past being unacceptable. Having an digital item that costs 0$ to manufacture and charging, in this case 360$ for a single Red Cat 5 is ludicrous. To simply "Buy" a singular item @Jujiand NC Soft West feels that $720 for a player to purchase ONE ITEM is an acceptable and fair cost.
Another example is Forgotten skill books. Each Character requires at a MINIMUM to have 3 lvl 3o skills (Attack, Defense and Attribute). Each Skill requires 875 Chapter 1 books. At Night Market Coin prices (Which laughably is cheaper than the Shop) that cost is $787.50 per one skill. multiplied by 3 that is a grand total of $2,362.50 per character, plus everyone has a subclass so lets multiply that by two.
I would like to know the following, HOW does @Juji and NC Soft West justify making each player pay $4,725 PER CHARCTER to simply have the BASE skills to play a video game. This is without gear, skills or skill enchant, and GEAR.. it's the expensive part?
I would to know why we as North Americans are charged more than triple for items than any other Lineage 2 servers in the world.
I know there is a lot of toxic chat in game, but at the end of the day we're ALL GAMERS and we ALL deserve to be treated the same as the other Gamers on the other Lineage 2 Servers in the world. Just because we are in the Americans, it should not be an excuse to gouge the player base. As a Help to all My Fellow Gamers and the community I created a list of all night market Items and the actual cost of them in the spreadsheet.

+1 constant disconnects and unresponsive game with 4-5 seconds of massive lag spikes. same reports from other players in the PNW

Whatever you did.. you **** up the servers.. massive DC's left and right and HUGE lag spikes constantly.. before it was just slow melee.. not its 5-7 seconds of do nothing and wait on the hamsters you have running your 1999 DX86 server farm.

@Juji and @Hime Won't answer anything. They give exactly ZERO f8&Ks about the player base.
If they did, or even had a TINY bit of business sense they would realize that EVeRYOne has 5+ toons and if they dropped prices.. we would gear 5 toons and they would make MORE money as more players would be able to afford items.
Sadly, even a post that gets 2500+ reads with a player base that's not much larger than that they don't even comment on. Shitty company, shitty GM's, shitty customer service and a once magnificent game.. turned .. well.. shitty.
250$ items in the shop? L2 officially jumped the shark... you've got an emphatic bleep YOU NC SOFT from this player.

Does NC Soft really think we enjoy a siege where one person does 100 MILLION damage to people and takes almost ZERO damage in return, AND has passives that heal them for more damage than they take? This isn't fun, you should participate in siege and see how long you last, you'll "love" it (dripping with sarcasm)
