It is a temporary fix. As soon as game recreates the crest.utx file when entering town you're getting the error again.

I've been keeping track of the rewards.
On Naia, the Greater Rune Stone and Greater Red Cat 5 never been rewarded.

Every time returning to town this message pops up.
File checks do absolutely nothing. It checks the files, downloads nothing so nothing is fixed.
It's amazing to log back in after every single timed zone you do. Do Castilla in 3 minutes, have fun logging back in. Did Rim Kamaloka? Have fun logging back in. Doing dailies? Have fun waiting on your party members while they all log back in.

If I would have been given 1billion for every clan member that said "I won't spend till end of the year because in January we get Dragon Slayers and I can buy DCW [insert weapon type]" I would've been able to buy a stage one Valakas Thrower.
People were really banking adena, euro's and NCoin for this promotion to progress their gear. After not getting exp events at three moments that were exp event periods in past 3 years this destruction of a solid promotion will steer people away from the game. The anniversary event will probably celebrate a mass exodus of players that are just fed up with poor management and tired of being unable to progress and compete with basic game elements.

The summer sale is funny
Timed Zone Passes are max 10 per day, but I bought 10 yesterday morning before the server reset (bought at 7:00, server reset is 8:30), couldn't buy any yesterday after the reset, was able to buy 1 today. It looks like NCSoft just doesn't want to earn money.

Funny to see this... When Chronos players go onto the forums because they're getting disconnects everybody at the NCWest HQ is right on it and Angel Cat is spawned almost instantly. Now the issues are primarily Naia server and we just have Hermes doing a ping from within the office to his own server and saying everything is fine.
Clearly this is an issue from the NCSoft routing to particular parts of Europe that block server interaction.

The community Discord is a toxic pit ran by people that been exploiting the game for over a decade. Every single adena seller, power level service, real market trader, bot train runner and script programmer is on there and it always been disgusting that Juji prioritized sharing information on a server like that over his official forums. If he really had a heart for the game, Juji would have set up an official NA Discord server like every MMORPG has. So that's a task for @Hermesto do. Bring back fair information sharing back to the fair players and the official channels.

In true L2 fashion, I would say CAN I HAVE YOUR GEAR to anyone quitting...
But your gear probably is a downgrade from what I have. After the complete lack of communication and support to majority of the real players I am pretty sure you run around in Heavy Armor on a Mage Class using a Shaper with wrong element using only single target nukes.-

@JujiRetarget time on auto hunt been nerfed again?
Yesterday I didn't had this many mobs waiting to be nuked down, and now. I just stand there and game taking ages to target and nuke.

Since last Wednesdays (23-2) maintenance the melee auto hunt lag is back.
Places which I easily farmed before maintenance now require consumables to prevent my from dying while my gear and everything else stayed the same.
Many other players in clan and on friend chat have the same issue.

If only you would instruct the Dev team to really do a big check on items and allow us to delete stuff like Dawn Bracelet from warehouses and free up space by deleting legacy items.
NCSoft really dropping the ball on QoL updates.

Why does promotion have Crystal of Dawn not as a more common reward on the reward list? It shares the ranks (and is actually above) with items like Talisman of Insanity, Dragon Weapon Box, Gran Kain EWR. This while the Crystal of Dawn is the most demanded resource on the server. Every player needs 250 of them and from what I see my clan obtaining from Primeval Isle daily you need a whole clan farming PI 3 hours a day for 10 years to even get close to having enough for ONE player.Once again you guys are completely out of touch with the servers, the demand of items and the balance of power.

Game event promotions now ok (but sometimes they making mistakes with prices). PROBLEM - now in game alot poor people (in real life) and not want to spend no 1$ for game. But this game can exist - just if people pay! Can be corect ban IP for Vietnam, Afrika, India and etc - this people just making RMT from game.
And event items NEED to remove (limited time) - becouse - new event coming with diferent box revads - and some people just want make profit from this.

Oh hell no dude. Buying from the L2Store should be an alternative to obtaining stuff. The fast lane. Want to get all your 80 Rune Stones needed for your Dreadnought; go buy them from L2Store. Do you don't want that, you can farm them. But NCSoft has removed the way of easy farming. No more drop from Baylor, Mystic Tavern and places like that. Yes, they drop in TOI but you really need to be top 3% of the server to farm in TOI and be on good standing with the top 1% otherwise they just come in PK you to block you from obtaining adena and drops. On top of that, NCWest purposely have removed alternative methods of obtaining things from our version for long time now. KR, JP, RU, EU were all able to buy Brooch Jewels from NPC or permanent L2Store, sell Lv1-2-3-4 and 5's in Auction House. We stuck with some stupid locked to lv5 and up AH only and never had this readily available like other regions. Mentor Shop has been removed which was a fine way of obtaining Rose. I am fine with that... but other regions got Einhased Shop as a replacement. And Juji has clearly spoken that there are no plans to introduce Einhased Shop in NA version.
The problem with people not wanting to spend any more is not because they poor (yes, the big influx of South American players didn't do servers any good) is that the success rates and pull rates have been killed. 5 Years ago if I would buy € 300 worth of NCoin to buy Freya Boxes in December I would pull € 500 worth of items out of it. Last year I bought € 200 worth of NCoin, and ended up with not more than € 50 worth of items.
I am totally fine with having certain aspects of the game 'locked' behind a NCoin pay wall, the items will trickle to the market anyway and some items are just really not for everybody (game play, wealth or class wise). But NCWest purposely pricing items in L2Store accordingly to current market (both in game as on RMT website/Discord channels) to not bleep off their "high paying customers" by devalueating items during a promotion is just toxic and game killing.

The problem is that the most played class on all servers only needs 8 Rune Stones and 1 Greater Rune Stone to unlock all skills. These 8 Rune Stones are obtained for free by leveling. All other, non-Yul, classes need a minimum of 16 Rune Stones and 1 Greater Rune Stone to do the same. Some classes even close to 80 Rune Stones (Tyrr, Sigil, Iss) and all these classes cannot easily farm back all the adena needed to buy the Rune Stones.
I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it again. L2Store Promotions and in game events should flood the market with consumables so people that make 30-150b a week in places like TOI cannot corner the market to offload at 500% inflated prices during Libra. And with consumables I mean stuff like Rune Stones, Star Signs, Splendor Fragments, Gem Energy, etc..
And of course... JUJI, NCSoft and L2 should stop removing event items when events are over. Lineage II is the only MMORPG in the frigging world that doesn't allow players to keep their event items.

The game is impossible to play without regular cash injection. Aden managed to take this concept and yank up the dial to 11.
I played my fair share of Essence on the EU servers and Aden is even worse than Essence. Maybe this is just due to the NCWest Special Edition sauce where prices are always 5x higher than their EU counterpart.
Aden guides you really nicely from lv1 to somewhere mid 40. After hitting level 45 you either have been lucky with your Aden weapon enchants and rocking something +10, if not; your game is over. After hitting level 45 all you do is grind 1 million adena to buy the lv2 of your resource skill to stay alive and killing. Without the lv2 Passive HP or MP regen you're doomed, game is over. You can never ever afford enough HP Potions to stay alive if you didn't grind that 1 million. Once you done that, you will be doomed again because you ran out of funds and free Spirit Ore to buff yourself or buy potions to heal yourself. Unlike the old days, you cannot exp without any buffs on you.
Reaching level 65 is a complete and utter grind fest that dwarfs even Chronicle 3. The original Lineage II is not even close to being as grindy as Lineage II Aden is. I remember grinding lv1-45 back in Chronicle 4, using just Wind Walk potion and it wasn't as hardcore as Lineage II Aden.
The auto hunt system makes Lineage II Aden even worse. The system is dumb as the turd of a donkey. There is no AI backing it up, it just checks what skill is ready and casts it. Making auto using a skill like Rush completely pointless. You can never set up an optimal skill rotation for your class. The changes made on the Tyrant are very big nerfs that really kill the power of the class, which doesn't really gets his real strength till level 68. While Sylph gun class and the Kamael archer are as overpowered as any end game stacked archer on Chronos or Naia.
The ongoing disconnects, lags and desyncs happing on Naia (and probably also Chronos) just show that bot programmers are forcing their way into the game and it's just a matter of time till they succeed. Besides that, all the UI elements of the Aden server appearing out of no where when entering instance zones on Live server is a sign the servers are not stable, and any failure of Aden will mean that Live servers have to come down for maintenance which is a big punch in the face for the last remaining and paying player base.
