  1. I offered suggestions on how things might work. I was not asking for the game to be changed to be a different game. Apologies for offering up suggestions on something might be improved upon. Reasons aside this was not a debate on who would be right or wrong in a PK event. That was clearly lost in my suggestion but rather that the PK system should be looked at and changes could potentially be made.
  2. I think this being implemented would be nice but instead of dropping any random item you're wearing would be on a timer for a 1 day or something not being able to use it. This would solve people abusing the PK system and also solve the problem with players dropping high ticket items for the crazy dollar amounts they go for. I think it could work with the proper settings. 10 pks = 1 day, 1 item, 20 pks = 2 days, 2 items so on and so forth. I think with a plan like this it would also be scalable for those who have multiple weapons and gear to cycle through. In addition there needs to be a way to remove all of your PK's as well. If you rack up 20-30 PKs trying to teach PK players a lesson it takes more than a week removing them.... This needs resolve as well.
  3. When PKing someone for a spot that is far different that PKing someone over and over for fun vs teaching a lesson as well. There is no way for the game to differentiate such things. If NCSoft is going to continue to put out OP items for free to be players essentially filling leveling areas none of these people belong the PK system most certainly need a revamp or it needs to be easier to remove PK count. Being plagued with Einhasads Observation is fine I think but being stuck to not moving around the map and hit with -30% pdef is most certainly unfair to those helping to keep the peace from PK players on the server. So you either had to deal with it or deal with removing all of your PKs when helping clanmates from random PKers. I do not know the best options or ideas for how to improve this but I do agree some changes need to be made.
  4. @Andouille didn't mention once about anything related to RMT. He mentioned and asked for raising the adena cap players can hold. This is a very real issue. The gear on this server at those levels requires more than 1T adena and we cannot hold it. I would ask for them to take it even one step further and remove the cap altogether or if you must put one on due to some mechanic then raise it so high it cannot be reached. There is no level cap right? Why should there be an adena cap?

  6. @Hime and @JujiDoes Korea have these issues? Would it possible to implement whatever it is they are doing to fix some of these issues perhaps? Can they guide us to solve some of these issues that seem to plague the NA servers?
  7. With all due respect its been a good deal of time since this was tested if these were the last time it was tested right? The issue was still present in 2019 during these times. Not nearly as bad as it is now but it was present and has continued to decline since that point. Your list was quite comprehensive but has that all been tested recently? Or was the above just a master list of everything tested since lag has been an issue for the last 2 years or so?
  8. @Hime Would you be able to indicate your troubleshooting steps and testing by chance? What are your theories as to the issues that are causing the performance decline? Will you be testing any of the suggestions the community has indicated such as the disabling of the Greedy Chests and the watchful players thereof and disabling the Ranking System as a test? Any transparency here of some work or troubleshooting steps may help ease the community's mind that NCsoft has been listening and could help restore some faith in some of the player base.   9. UPDATE: Today 12:21pm CDT. Character shows in slow motion. The lag seems to have worsened since yesterday's recording. Cant see but one or two of my skills fire off. Character shows 1-2 swings over 3-5 seconds. @Hime and @Juji I can literally count to 3-5 seconds and not see my character move let alone swing at targets. Again Macro and auto hunting are both enabled as shown in the video. I am in Phantasmal Ridge at the present moment. Occasionally I will see a sonic star or a jump attack. They are few and far between at the present. I even see a step or two and then stop in between mobs as well. Then catches up with the character. Very odd behavior. I can also see issues with opening the UI on occasion as well and clicking in between tabs and menus. Lag seems to be affecting everything at this point. Hope this helps. Thanks, Clobberstomp
  10. I expect you are not alone @Degus and many, including myself, will follow suit as this continues and there isn't drastic improvement quickly.
  11. I believe the issues are related to two things. 1. The ranking system seems to be causing an issue. I expect if it is disabled there would be a drastic performance increase. I think it would be a good test to determine if this is actually causing an issue. Then if confirmed keep it disabled until it can be rectified to bring it back. 2. The greedy chests - not themselves of course but the amount of camera accounts watching, waiting and alerts main accounts of their spawning. I expect if they were removed and those camera accounts removed we could see performance. I believe the lag is really caused by a number of entities in a given area throughout the map. Consider reducing the number of possible entities in a given area to see if that could help reduce the lag and improve server performance. The players are looking for solutions to bring back stable server performance. This issue has been on the server for quite a long time and only getting worse each day. And even with hunting events for crazy greedy chests only seems to made things much worse. How can the players be expected to pay for Density, Prestige and participate in paying events when the server is in this state? I think many would agree we would all rather have a stable decent performing server to play on. Please help and consider the items above for testing and improvement. Thanks, Clobberstomp
  12. Oh of course. I touch on some of these things In my latest videos since I have returned. I will be diving deeper into these aspects as we progress and touch on as much of what you are mentioning as we can. Many things will be changing over the channel as I continue. Again thanks for your information and feedback. My audience before was geared more for a general player or a newer player with a higher focus on entertainment for sure. I plan to change this as I continue. The goal is more of to be helpful and informative rather than just entertainment. Peace man.
  13. Thanks for constructive criticism. I appreciate it. Not sure if you put this together or not I am indeed Clobberstomp. You are most certainly entitled to your opinions of course. My goal is to inform and entertain though at times it may not seem so. I do my best to make sure to put out accurate information. If I have said anything incorrectly I am most happy to learn from my mistakes when given proper information. I have found there is a lot of misinformation out there and I only aim to correct much of it. As with anything most content creation is all subjective. Thanks for watching the videos.   14. So can I ask how much have you helped contribute to the game? Reason I ask is it seems his content is genuine and he seems to enjoy the game enough to make videos. Sure there is back and forth but that is accurate for any player who plays and been around this game for any period of time.
