Before "free to play" we had to pay a monthly fee to play L2. Conveniently, everyone forgets that. Over the course of a year under the old system we paid approx $180 a year. What I did was repurpose those funds for Ncoin purchases during the top adena making events. I don't participate in every event. I don't buy Ncoin every month, either. The event items that you buy during those events you can sell for a premium after the event ends and have a source of income to play the market. With some luck, but more savvy moves you can earn the billions necessary to equip your character(s)-- eventually.
It's not all doom and gloom, but you have to be smart about it. And you have to approach the game like a marathon, not a sprint. And yeah, sometimes people who race in marathons end up crawling to the finish. But they finish.
so you pay real $ to watch your macro kill monsters? doesn't sounds fun at all
no1 ever finishes the race here...the heavy spenders will always be years ahead of you, leaving most of the pay2play kidz in pve game
if you don't spend $ you will never pvp, you will just watch your macro play the game for you....boring and waste of $ imo
a kid who starts today, could get to lvl 105 spend some real $ and be better than a free2play player who was grinding for years before that kid even downloaded the game....lol

they had the service in game before r110 was implemented, if you were around on a live server and up-to-date you would remember people complaining about it not working for r110 gear

Tbh ive never even seen anything other than gold actually drop in this game since I started a few days ago, and ive tried farming a few of the non questline areas just to see what it was like (slow kills lower level mobs nothing of value)...how the hell do I even get gear in this game? OFC its concerning that a new player hasn't even cast a single skill on their own, I get my toolset though its sort of obvious and I set my macro up beyond auto attack.
Anyway just looking to see if there really is this wall at 105 that ends the game for most. Also wanted to see if there is anywhere I can auto farm where I might occasionally see a gear drop or something drop....never seen an RPG without gear drops....
Not sure im willing to get into multi boxing and rolling an army of lv 105 characters either.
you wont be able to solo farm and no cp will let you join with exalted only gear...and you will get kicked from 105 instance pt with your welfare gear
you wont be able to efficiently farm gear/weap drops either, and you will barely make enough to keep your spirit shots/soul shots going
yes there is a paywall and it actually starts before 105, unless you don't mind grinding blazing swamp and doing coal mines once a day until you reach 105 lol
even if you did multibox you wont be able to gear up each box, especially since you cant even gear 1 box without spending some real $
the servers aren't packed, its just all the no-life pay2play kidz who log in multiple accounts to get mentee marks
your best option is to find a new game....but if you plan on sticking around and not spending real $ to play, be patient and prepared to waste a lot of real life time

did you know party hunting bonus was part of the game, and now its a "special" server setting

yea we had a archer in our pt and she kept losing mp too....even with healer mp buff and rebirth every 5-10 mins the archer would run out of mp
every1 else in pt stayed at full mp tho whole time, we tried reforming the pt for her and they logged out and back in and restarted their client and nothing helped
its definitely bugged mp regen for archers in ev…poor girl got kicked from pt and wasn't even her fault lol
just another fail bug from NCscam after their supposed server "fixes" and "unscheduled" maintenances

ive never lagged during this years of "lag and compensation" events....after what they did to chronos it caused me to lag on naia
how in the actual hell do you "fix" one server and the other server starts lagging after you supposedly fixed it the week before?
we need to contact the Korean dev team and see whats really going on here....somethings not adding up

Runestones can be farmed they just nerfed the insane number you could take per week, i was getting 16 -20 runes per week and i was not even tryharding, since u can do balok/octavis twice in a week and a lvl 103 toon can drop runestones almost 100% of time, and if u cant have VM in the moment i would recommend having a friend, just 1 to split the drops and then both can learn skills, L2 was not meant to be played alone
Also my life werent all roses since i got back i was hunted like not being able to leave the village, just cause a player whose name i wont say was using radar on my main nick and insta porting after me, what i did? crying on the global? no i went farming other ways, if u really want to play and do something in the game just do it, just play dont worry about what top players are doing, cause u wont be playing alongside them at least for a couple years if u dont spend real cash...
And about leveling having a simples party setup can get u up to tanor ez/pz, tanker iss and a dd, some dd's do more damage than others but they still do, and dont try to compare yourself to a guy having a +12 weap and +10 armor that can solo tanor u prob did not farm the same time he did or even spended the same amount of cash he spent... Lineage 2 is a game for FEW... few crazy people and few rich people... the others should consider playing something else
you basically just said you need multiple toons to have fun in a game
and runestones cant be farmed solo unless you have the gear to solo the rb's that drop them...if you join a pt for those rb's or "have a friend" you are splitting the drops...which means you get 1 runestone per week = 8 weeks for 1 skill = 2 months to get 1 skill = trash pay2win environment
also, if they were that ez to farm they would not sell for 150-200m per runestone
lineage2 is a game that used to be fun but was ruined by a toxic pay2win community...even the top spenders were crying for no new pay2win items last year, go check the forums...its clear the game needs some serious changes

also, runestones are over priced because they removed ways of obtaining runestones...your harmony level 2 buff costs you 8 runestones which is currently over 1billion adena on either server...better to wait until next update for runestone skills
better idea is to remove runestones, or any skill requiring monetary investment....back in the day we purchased skills with skill points and spellbooks, and we could farm spellbooks
we cant farm runestones, unless you run balok/istina on low level toons...which causes you to create low level toons for farm or keep your dualclass low level, just another example of how this game is in very bad condition

yea we should be able to play without lag, but NCwest scammer devs/admins/GM's cant fix the lag...they just make it worse
we should have a choice of several different zones to xp, quest or farm....its just bad game design in an attempt to force you to pay2play
there is no playing this game anymore, the game plays itself for you...just log in, turn on your macro...sad but true

I had no lag since all this stuff started a year ago, none at all....
now you do something to chronos server and it affects the server on naia? what in the actual hell are you guys doing? why don't you post patch notes so we can see if we need to change something on our end?
you cant even get a date/day correct, how in the hell are you going to fix "lag" on 1 server and create lag on a different server?

all those people around you are at war with you and the monsters = why its called "winter of war" , but don't worry winter is almost over

well, they gave you paulina...which is better than starting out in c1-2 without even bronze/wooden armor...since there is no way to obtain items in the game unless you pay real $
im starting to think they did the blazing swamp thing on purpose, since this era was the "winter of war" and the previous era was "prelude to war"...the war was between players and monsters

the game wont get better until they make some huge changes
its 2020, their should be several different instanced dungeons that players can randomly queue for and kill bosses in those dungeons for armor/wep drops and other useable drops
people should not be paying for weapons/armor upgrades with a credit card, they should be playing the game to earn those items
slow leveling is cool and makes you work for something, but providing fun activities to obtain the levels is what we need.....not macro/bot grinding for days for 2% exp

red libra is a terrible idea, especially with all this kidz crying on server lag....libra would make it worse, and I doubt NC want to hear any more lag crying
if you made the right decision on your classes you wouldn't need red libra, maybe if character create was on you could have another chance at making correct class choice
