  1. First off, that's not what it says. You need a blessed set to have a 100% chance of making it bloody or dark. What L2Wiki says is that Elcyum can be traded in to reduce the amount of required items and give you a better success rate if the armor part you're trading in isn't blessed. As to whether there's such an option in the NA servers, that I don't know. Anyway, L2Wiki is based off of the European servers so also keep that in mind.

  2. NCWest hasn't provided the rates, because they are not obliged to by US law. You can look up the Korean version's rates because they are obliged by the law to provide such information over there. As to our game version, the best you can do is look in older posts where people shared their results or posted videos of combining and draw your own conclusions. Frankly, it's less than 3b to just buy one these days. I've seen plenty of ruby 3 boxes being sold for peanuts in Chronos.

Tauti and fr. Tauti are much worse for PVE as @Maerwen said.

Bow is so much worse averallm

Especially after the last update retri is the only build solid.

Also the pve dmg on a +12 r99 pve retri (from share equip) beats any R95 below +18.

For casual PVE excluding instances, how much of a difference do you think I'd see between an enhanced shadow retributer and a +12 PVE bow with yul augment and SAs? I know I can basically kiss the marks goodbye as well as the extra attack attribute, but when it comes to the summons themselves, would it be that bad?

  4. Both classes are awful these days even if you dump a truckload of real money on them. You'll see those either used as a crafter shop or as the means to an end when it comes to oe'ing. Besides that, if you really enjoy playing them, then by all means go right ahead, however, don't expect to join many parties on higher levels especially if you are a casual player and not planning on becoming a big spender. And to answer the question you're probably thinking as you're reading this, no, you can't really make a lot of adena by playing main fortune seeker.

Post it in the Report a Bug section of the forum, describe detailed how and when you encounter the bug. If it's something relevant, I'm sure Juji will check it himself.

I DM'ed Juji about it a while ago. If anything is going to be done about it, I doubt it's going to be anytime soon and since I haven't come across the issue much for the past couple of weeks I don't care about it as much either. I also remember Neutron mentioning somewhere they could no longer access tickets because of the GDPR. Only time will tell.

Edit: With this post I intended to emphasize on the absolute lack of knowledge of basic game features/mechanics and perhaps English comprehension on the support team's part and not as much on the bug itself. Then again, I could be talking to a bot giving me canned replies all along and bots don't tend to have particularly good English comprehension as of yet.

  6. A couple of weeks ago I contacted support about a problem I encountered with the new automated next targeting system. Their first response was something along the lines of "read the patch notes", to which I replied that I had already done so and understood how the system is supposed to work. Then, after a few days of going back and forth with them and providing additional information about the situation, they told me that the automatic next target was malfunctioning because I was using too many auto self buffs. Good grief! Anyway, I limited the self buffs down to just 3 and -of course- the same issue kept on happening, so I decided to remove auto self buffs altogether and see how that worked, well, it didn't. Same problem kept popping up and resolving itself whenever it felt like it. So I open a new ticket since the previous one was closed by that point. I provide the previous ticket's number and tell them their solution didn't work. They proceed to suggest not to put attack skills and self buffs in the same macro, which I didn't do in the first place. They also tell me to create separate macros for self buffing and attacking. To my understanding, at this point they are suggesting that I magically find a way to run two macros at the same time on the same character. In my response I mention that this is not possible, they go ahead and suggest the following:
"Regarding your inquiry, If you think two macros should be cast simultaneously, then, we encourage you to post your comments on the forums, where our Community Team gathers player feedback so they can suggest game improvements to our development team: https://forums.lineage2.com/"

I decided not to respond again since it was evident at this point this conversation was leading nowhere. Now, I won't lie; I got a good laugh out of the replies I was getting, but at the same time it really isn't funny, is it?

There is an easy way around that problem. Adventurer NPC is only giving buff to Knights.

So just make your dual class Sigel Tank (85) and get the Quest-Buff. Already have a dual class 85? Well no problem. Just go to Talking Island Dual Class NPC and reset/change the class. Only cost 100kk adena at lvl85. After you have passed the bugged part of the quest, you can switch back to your old/prefered dual class at the same NPC for another 100kk.

I did that yesterday. Works fine.

Except, a newbie doesn't have 200m. And why should anyone spend their adena when NCWest is taking their sweet time fixing this and will most likely not refund that adena?

would help alot if there wouldnt bee x different versions of the same item. and this happens aloooooot,

just an example: the bsoe and the brez we can get from ongoing event doesnt stack up with old items, why????

Some versions can be traded, others cannot. Then there's the case of giant's enchants which have only slightly different descriptions, both can be traded and yet for some reason there's two of them.

I don't know if GMs @Juji will take the time to read this but here is a simple suggestion to what could be some form of penalty when you pk.

Keep the no lost of item, it's good since we all worked hard over the years to get what we have.

Add a penalty similar to the Shilen Breath, the higher the count of pks, the worst the penalty level of it, Except of course for the Cursed weapon users.

lose of speed, attack, defense, HP/MP/CP reduce with each level of penalty

lv1 penalty at first pk 10%

    lv2 penalty at 5 pks 20%

    lv3 penalty at 10 pks 40%

and so on up to lv5 penalty, penalty is removed according to pk counts

I think it could be a great system to avoid griefers in the game and keep a pvp system healthy.

So if you wanna clear a spot, you can't, if you wanna burn karma, you also can't and if you wanna remove pks you have to spend on scrolls.
