  1. > lv 78 BD, did 30k...in 17h Oestemnet just typed in world chat that he made 40k points so far and he's 85 lvl BD. Your alt must be holding a +16 Talus x Damascus in each hand and 5 talismans of power +10 in every slot. Plus your speed must be capped at 300 already, because you don't have a gap closing skills.
  2. And just to remind you, the L2M celebration event rewards are possible to acquire for everyone. The event lasts for 20+ days. Finishing 5 daily hunting quests gives you 50 coins, the daily buff which lasts for 6 hours gives you 60 coins total if you were not laying dead for the duration. This is 110 coins a day for the players who can't do subjugation. So it is more than possible to get the top level reward i.e. lvl 4 Coral for a mid level player without subjugation. Subjugation gives another 100 coins a day, but requires 65+ level and realistically speaking might not be possible to complete by everyone every single day. Because <70 level are limited to Cruma, at those levels mobs take a lot of time to kill and you need about 10k mobs a day excluding hot times. 70+ have Silent Valley as an option. Silent Valley on Blackbird takes around 2 days to get 1 subjugation key for a melee class, thx to all the archers farming adena for our heros. Oh and don't forget that those archers will be able to finish the subjugation, so they will get their Coral lvl 4 in 9 days and thanks to 7% atk speed increase they will make it even harder for melee classes Hope you get a point now. Good event vs bad event thing.
  3. I understand that the 85+ are so upset about the rewards, so they will provide their 500k points a day numbers just to ensure that nobody else would complete it. It is all simple to prove, make a 60 lvl tank in Aden gear, go to Fields of Massacre or Plains of Glory and measure how many points it acquires in an hour, then multiply it by the hours of expected daily commitment to finish the event and then by the duration of the event. Let's say that the expected commitment would be 8 hours a day (which is a full business day already and that means that @Juji expects people to grind instead of celebrating Xmas & New Year). Let's say a tank will be able to acquire around 5,000 points during those 8 hours, which most likely it will not and this zone is relatively empty on both servers, due to those levels are fast to make, in other words it will also not be possible to repeat that every day for 42 days due to outleveling the zone and getting less kills in the next one, due to higher level mobs. And it will not be possible to stay in Plains of Glory for 42 days either, since reaching 75 takes around 2-3 weeks for most. That means moving to War Torn Plains and a lot of running ofc. And just to remind you guys from Elcadia, on Blackbird - Plains of Glory, War Torn Plain, Silent Valley especially and even TOI 1F/2F have more players than mobs literally. On Plains of Glory, War Torn Plains and especially Silent Valley - that tank will not be able to get much credits at all, because it will be running between the mobs which are instantly killed by archers and mages and not able to land a hit. Either way, if we multiply those 5,000 a day by 42 days we get 210k points total. Don't you think this is enough commitment for the New Year Gift or finishing the premium pass for which you pay already? The comment about 1,000 points per reward is on the same scale, it will be 280k points total. And nobody cares if 85+ will complete it in a week really. And the truth is, they don't need those A grade tokens already.
  4. > in like 17h i did 67k points Sure, hero made 67k in 17 hours, so you were afk for the 32 hours before those 17 hours since the event started? The event is up for 49 hours, not 17
  5. I suggest you provide the level, equipment, class, boxes used and the zone. I can tell that half of the server is now in Plains of Glory, guess why. And they will not be able to finish the pass, guess why again. Running a solo (no boxes) 74 lvl aoe destroyer in Plains of Glory = 46k points in 48 hours with zero interruptions, and yes some mobs are already dark blue, so no points at all. Next zone will be 2 times less than that probably, because the bears are very scarcely located, so it is a lot of running and very little points. Cruma - this is for like 10 players of the whole server, good luck competing with 85+ or 10 windows bots there. Silent Valley? don't even start it lol. TOI? you might not be able to kill 10k mobs in a day. So it is very nice of you to scream that you did X or Y and without providing a perspective of what it took, that means nothing, because the majority of players will not be able to complete it. And the event that is made for the 1% is bad.
  6. This is hardly possible for AoE classes too, if you are not 85+ playing 3-5 windows with a healer and a puller outside the party and killing everybody who comes close to your room/spot. This is hardly a focus group for such events.
  7. Same issues here: https://forums.lineage2.com/topic/23725-winds-of-grace-changes/ https://forums.lineage2.com/topic/23726-aden-server-maintenance-december-1-2021/
  8. Update: the server load is "Heavy" - there are not enough mobs, all the 60-80 zones are full. Thank you for the great event, the calcualtions above are wrong, getting 1/2 of the numbers I provided already lol.
  9. In Lineage W they have a monthly task to kill 30k mobs, any you can hunt mobs of any level, they all count, even some Talking Island Kutun Orc which die from 1-2 arrows (in reality I think I killed around 300k-350k mobs on 45+ Elf in a month (around 150-200 ranking on the server level wise, sorry only green doll - low exp bonus) since the start and they die faster than in L2, but too many players) . And here you need to hunt mobs which are 10 or less levels lower than you at least - you need to kill 672k in 42 days, and to get some decent rewards you have to pay for that sort of fun - that alone sounds like a joke.
  10. And again... Blackbird's problem of having more players than monsters in mid level zones and no new zones, no faster respawn, nothing. Realistically speaking it should've been set to like 5,000 mobs per day (210k total) due to the circumstances, if there was no congestion/lack of mobs at all/getting a credit if you touch a mob, instead of doing 50%+1 dmg - 8,000 a day (336k total) would be fine.
  11. You will get the rewards when you activate the pass up to what you opened up/grinded already, so you can buy/activate it later. Problem is that the amount of grind is inconsistent with an average player's expectations, and I believe the event was not designed solely for 1969 and Frankie to complete, but for the much broader player base. Party hunting in a solo game is irrelevant btw, even if they fix it (which is clearly their intention that you should grind solo/individually) - that simply means forming a full party to hunt some low lvl mobs without loot or exp for anybody for weeks. Most single target classes will not do 672k mobs in 42 days Imagine how a dagger class would do such a quest... in let's say Silent Valley on Black Bird? The kill counts only if you do 50% + 1 damage to the mob = not possible. If the event lasted for full 3 months - that would still be questionable... due to New Year's Gift - which most players would receive in February or March in this case. This is what happens when the numbers are run by people who don't play the game and don't know how many mobs an average player kills per hour. I suggest you guys to create a level 60 single target melee character in Aden gear and do the measures. @Juji @Hime
  12. Transcended dungeon gives 1 point per monster - might be a bug. Either way... it is around 1,000 mobs per hour on a 79 lvl A grade geared char with AoE skills, running solo on the lowest (fastest) level hunting ground possible (so that kills count). That means 16,000 mobs = 16 hours spent in the game every day without holidays and downtimes just for the sole purpose of getting this New Year Gift / finishing the pass for 42 days straight. Don't think it is too much? Even if you give 2 points per mob in all locations, this is still a full business day (8 hours) of grind every day to get the gift. I'm not even taking to account any other activities, that there are no enough mobs in mid level zones, that you don't get credit in many cases, due to mid level zones are infestated with archer bots.
  13. Regarding L2 Pass. 42 days and 672 thousand mobs to kill to receive a New Year Gift. Guys do you really think that Santa will visit only <1% of all players who manage to do it? Have you run any calculations? Most classes with no AoE skills will not be able to do it. I even doubt that classes with AoE skills and somewhat medium gear will be able to manage it, because that simply means 24/7 uptime, no maintenances, no downtimes due to pk, etc. @Juji @Hime
  14. I have no doubt that there are people who enjoy doing that. However, you are wrong in your assumption that you have to suffer and find workarounds, instead of fixing the bad design. It is definitely possible to screw in the screw with a knife; chop a tree with a shovel; endlessly harass hundreds of players so your toon could kill a couple of mobs. This is not a solution though, hope you get the point.
  15. I've played on Kain/NA since CBT. I probably have a slight idea of what and how it was. The karma and PvP system were entirely different, first of all. Second, the game and systems have changed completely, besides the decorations. Limitless and zero penalty PK in a solo AFK game, causing items and exp loss for those poor souls is the worst idea ever. Some folks even call it PvP, although it is called griefing and harassment usually. Should we thank them for that? Do you enjoy eating needles as well?
  16. There are not enough mobs on Blackbird at 65-80 locations. Some zones are pure Arbalest farmer zones (like Silent Valley) where it is not possible to hit a mob at all for a melee or a slow caster (all healer classes pretty much). In all of those locations people with manners turned off simply ruin it for everybody else as well, because for the most part if you keep it on - you won't be able to get any/enough mobs, if you keep it off it becomes a lootless game, because nobody knows who gets the loot from the other 10 players who managed to use a skill on that mob. Suggestions: 1) Free server transfers 2) Manners mode ON by default, or even better locked to ON for good for everybody. (There's no point to promote PvP due to kill stealers really... there's already enough of it of some brain dead ppl killing the whole zone of AFK folks, because there's simply no penalty for PK). 3) Increase mob spawn rate dramatically P.S.: I don't also get a point in exp loss from PK - this is simply a victim blaming... you were afk - your loss. You penalize people for the gameplay mechanic you promote, counter-intuitive. This game is mostly PvE - nobody cares about PvP besides a few clans, which surprisingly... PK all AFK players they see 10-20 levels below them, constantly maintain red karma and cause all sorts of harassments you can think of. Losing exp from PvP doesn't promote PvP either. Both of those things exist simply for exp recovery options for Lcoins. And I bet there are many other ways on how you can get the money from players and stop alienating the community with your PK system, which simply does not work properly in this version of the game. @Juji@Sunshine
  17. So what's exactly the point of event limited collections if they can't be used? Everything is simply wrong and we're not receiving exp/sp buffs, because we can't register the item. How it should be: on day 5 get Battlefield Token - register in a collection to get 5% exp/sp buff; on day 10 - get Shining Battlefield Token - register in a collection to get 10% exp/sp buff. And what you have in the patch notes - 3 of this and 3 of that - this is not even obtainable throughout the event, not to say we will have to select between 5% exp/sp and 10% exp/sp on day 10 - since we will only get 1 Shining Battlefield Token on day 10 (if we get one at all and it is not bugged as well). Nice execution guys. This is what is in the notes (we only get 1 regular and 1 shining throughout the event, the 2nd collection is unreachable): This is what we get on day 5: Which we can't register anywhere, because the Collection -> Event is like this: First collection: And 2nd collection:
