  1. I'm also getting "E" at an ok-but-not-good rate, although obviously when this event is done, I'll have one trillion more of each consonant than vowels. My biggest complaint, though, is the usual: not enough top prizes being awarded for "R-E-S-P-E-C-T". Sure, the Dragon Shirt augment stones are dropping better than I thought they would, but would it hurt to have the Greater Zodiac Agathion, Talisman Insanity/ 7 Signs/Protection 10, Seed Bracelet 4, Rind Leather Dragon Shirt, etc., drop more than once every hundred million or so tries? Insanity and 7 Signs aren't even top of the pyramid any more. Might as well open the skies and let them rain down.
  2. Well, only characters that have been here for 18 years can get them, so I guess they figured that anyone that still plays that character already has a Ruler's Authority or better. Of course, this is disappointing when you consider they used to give the entire Boss jewel pack, which had a Ruler's included. So yeah, it would have been nice to go all out for the players that have been here since day 1 practically and show a bit more love than just an old belt that everyone else either already has or can easily get.
  3. Aww, thanks. If it's only for angel's accessories, then never mind.
  4. Some NCSoft genius decided that it was ok to charge a month's rent for a pixelated imaginary doohickey as part of a celebratory event, but you want to call the player base toxic? Wow. Jim Jones may be dead, but it's good to know that there are still people around eagerly willing to drink the Kool Aid.
  5. Or that they expect copious amounts of adult language to be used in the feedback section.
  6. How exactly will this work? I have enchanted and broken so many things since last year. Do we get a list of items that we broke and want to restore, or do we have to already know the item? Also, is this just for armors and jewels, or weapons? Lastly, if I show you a screenshot of a +26 Limited R110 Thrower that I broke years ago BEFORE token restoration existed, can I have that restored instead? (Ok, ok, I already know the answer to that question. Just thought I'd try anyway.)
  7. Bit of irony. Isn't this kind of what you do in-game? Take items, slap a higher price on them than necessary and try to push them as something that people must have? Did NCSoft borrow a page from your playbook? If so, you should sue them for copyright infringement. They are using it too well.
  8. Oh great, another event where I never win anything.
  9. It used to be that you had a 2 in 3 chance of success after +3. Then enchanting became the #1 form of gambling that they could profit off of, so now the enchant rate is 2 in 3 chance of fail. You can use enchant stones and scrolls to help increase those odd, but you will fail much, much more now than ever. And yes, it's really stupid, because you'd think they'd want more people to have +21 and up weapons considering they made the new glows not that long ago for everyone to marvel and admire. Enchanting to +15 should have 67% success odds per scroll. Enchanting from +16 to +18 should be 50/50. Enchanting +19 - +20 should be 40%. Enchanting higher than that should be 25% without additional aid. Also, token restoration should only be allowed at +24 or higher and only on Enchanted and Limited weapons. No risk it, no biscuit. But the above paragraph is a pipe dream. Get out now while you can. That's all I'm going to say about enchanting in L2. You have been warned.
  10. Yeah, I gave up on trying to keep up last year. I'm never again going to spend thousands of USD$ for a game like this. Too much money spent for too little return and the only thing that increased was frustration, rage and disappointment. I really only log in to see if any promises are kept and improvements are made. But as you all know, for every step forward, there are 5 - 10 steps back.
  11. The main problem with support classes is that they'll be more subject to having the few kill points that they do get subtracted by the mob's skill. All melee types have that problem to some extent, but DD melee types can kill fast enough to offset it. That's not the case for an ISS or Healer, unless they are extremely stacked.
  12. I think what he is trying to point out is that not everyone will earn 100 fragments at the same rate. It will take some classes almost a week to get 100 fragments. So they will pay the same price, but get far less time than the stacked player, who will have the jewels in a day or two. I see the concern. The jewels should have been set up as 30-day from time of obtaining it in inventory and not hardcoded with a specific expiration date. That way everyone gets the same 30-day usage.
  13. I looked at the Collections stuff for the first time today. I don't get it. Why does it ask for items that cost billions and trillions of adena for only a small boost? Is it also true that the boost is temporary, not permanent? So you eventually are burning adena like Scrooge McDuck burns cash in his fireplace? Can someone explain what's going on here?
