i am play here for few years, i have never seen so terrible game feedback, so many lags with using skils, very slow responce,  no possible play without gamer VPN, etc.  i really disapoited. I wish nc soft repair it as soon as possible...  i have so many game crash with C++ libraries with no reasons also... i dont understand why game is so unstable ...

Possible mismanaged that allowed good and "competent" developers to leave and go to greener pastures, better pay, more respect and freedom to be creative.

  2. S- Super grade?  S80 super-80, S84 super-84?

R- Royal grade? there once was R90 grade but many new players never seen that.  Just R, R95 and R99 now.

Seraph standars for Seraphim, the highest ranking of all the angelic beings in the heavens.  They are also the guardians of the most prized and cherish the Ark of the Covenant.

Eternal I guess at the time it was created, must have meant the highest of the most high - God himself or gods if you are polytheistic.

Now how can anything be higher?  Krishna is a type of god that is widely revered and respected in the ancient world.  Talks of flying palace or Vimanas originates from ancient India where Sankrit text describes weapons that has the "brightness of a thousand suns" - that can only be nuclear bomb.  Many of the sky conflicts seen and depicted looks like Ancient Greek mythology comes to life.

Anyways, back in the days of D-grade, C-grade, B-grade and A-grade it's pretty straight forward.  When S-grade came out, no one really knew what it stands for, people only guessed.  I'm curious after 14 years, why not ask around if there is an official reason for those letter designation?  And what do you think they stand for?

  3. Does 15% event 6 hour buff stack at the same time?  There are 2 of them, if they don't stack, I rather get 1 to go 6 hours with 15% xp bonus and extend that with 2nd buff for another 6 hours.  But if they stack, I rather just do it all at once.

Someone told me in-game they stack but I'm not so sure comparing the 2 toons that I have... the XP look about the same... 1 had 2 buffs and the other only has 1.

  4. what's your proof they're bots vs real-player who runs macros?

bots typically are passive, they'll auto brez and auto run back same spot... but to pk a player, that's typically a live human who wants you dead

  5. I once saw a dog when I was renting airbnb room, the dog will instance know i'm microwaving food and you can hear the little tiny foot steps running toward me and then sit and try to pretend to be cute.  I look at it -- for a split second my heart melt -- oh how cute~~~ but i slap my self so i won't be mind controlled by the dog and try to ignore it and just walk right past it down the hall back to my room.  I can sense extreme dissapointment and hear the distance tiny foot steps charging over and then sit and try to act real cute just when i open my bedroom door turning around...  I resist and deny myself and with the dogs eye staring down my soul in deep guilt, i then closed the door and tell myself I'm doing the right thing.  ROFL.  You can't spoil dogs like that, otherwise they'll be begging food for the rest of their life and watching us idiots succumbing to their powerful charms.

I wonder if dogs can talk, would they say explicits to me?  LOL

That is what's happening to your Red Libra

  6. Just to be clear how big of a deal when I say I haven't disconnect in 7-10 days, I'm talking about 15 accounts, all 15 accounts - consistently logged in for the entire duration of the 7 days, since server maintenance, you had no choice but I dont' count those when I say 10 days... meaning, entire last server maintenance cycle plus 3 days, now 4 days 11 days total no disconnects.

In contrast, from October 15th (could be earlier) to November 20th - random disconnects... sometimes Giran shop would get dropped more consistently than the actual mob fighting toons in the field. Sometimes healer or ISS in a CP group would D/C and whole party wiped out... just random d/c.

I did adjust RAM settings for the PCs that I'm running - meaning I increase RAM capacity by 33-40%.  I don't have proof but allow Lineage2 client to run in a more resource rich environment - meaning both CPU cycles and/or RAM - I believe helps.  And it could be a myriad of other things.  I am speaking only for myself - that's what was changed for me across multiple PCs since 10 days ago.

Reason I increase RAM is I want to minimize Windows from thrashing the drive - even though everything I have now are SSD but there is still a possibility of lag and/or delay that can increase your chance of being D/Ced.  I turn off allowing Windows to take over Virtual Memory and limit them to 800mb, I could care less if windows crash and I need to read the virtual memory log.

  7. Hi Dagamad, my Runes for Super7 is expiring in 1 day 11 hours from this post and just for you, I can consider not renewing until we go do some Dailies or you can suggest some raidboss lv.103 or lower since we're only 2 people but at least it'll be fun.  Leveling up in LIneage2 is like acquiring money in real life, it's something you can't get enough and you almost never want to have a down time or to take a break.  It's a personal choice really, no one to put that "mental prison" on us but ourselves.

So to what do we attribute value of our true happiness?  Is it leveling up and comparing ourselves with others?  Or to lend a helping hand and interact with real people?  In fact, now that I'm thinking about this, maybe I should start a YouTube channel for a much bigger mental disease people may have in playing MMORPG and/or competitive gaming - the idea of this "competition" instead of the sense of community of sharing and being in a group as the highest value.  Maybe I'll do something to that regard in that area of life, write a book or do a seminar.

In any case, what do you use to live audio chat?  teamspeak? I don't even know what's the latest fashion nowadays but let's get on a real live chat after my runes runs out and let's go run around, explore, incite conflict :P <wink> and/or what nots obnxious endeavour of the bored.

  8. Hey @degamad, sorry been busy working - didn't get back to you and I see now you're beginning to learn the ropes of the game.  I'm glad others have been able to pitch in and help you.  My Lv.107 archer got 143 STR and 78 DEX, I guess I didn't read the memo to focus on DEX lol.  Also remember, when you hit lower toons both in PVE and PVP, the critical rate for skills matters between your level vs. opponents/mob level.  In any case, higher DEX according to the passive description will provide higher multiplications.

If you PVE mostly at green mobs, your DEX won't matter that much since your level is higher and your skill crit rate will be quiet high and won't seen noticeable benefit if there are more DEX.... but you will always benefit at any level, hitting any level with more STR.  So if you PVP a lot, then you need to really balance DEX with STR or lean toward more DEX than STR.  But TBH, 95% of the people on this server are PVE.  I'm just saying.... :)

Real world stuff: My Lv.107 archer hitting green mobs, skill crit 3-4 out of 5 hits.  I say that's pretty good with 78 DEX.

Anyways, keep up the good work - sometimes it's not a define goal to get somewhere that makes you happy, it's the journey and the interaction you have everyday as you're playing, the path and the journey that makes it fun and memorable.  remember -- as in real life, it's never the material things that truly makes us happy -- it's the PEOPLE that truly makes us happy.  Invest in people.

Playing this game for 15 years, I learn some of the happiest moment and enjoyable are with real people, in live pvp and/or chatting about life in vent/teamspeak or whatever new chat app they have now.  When you achieve a certain level, there isn't too much of a joy except when I hit the Lv.105 which was max at the time - yeah, that was a blimp moment.  But for the most part - the learning, researching and trying different things is what makes this game so awesome.
