We’ve found out this page for Korean L2 (referred as ‘Talking Island’ there) (I understand that it will be slightly different for NA L2 Classic, but baseline pretty much shows that it is really bad):

Overall list of items AND the fact those will be imprint makes this ‘conversion’ a bad attempt to cover up the fact that paying customers once again are not treated appropriately by NC.
Here are the concerns:

Lots of customers have many months (some - years) of VIP10 status accumulated earlier, as well as currently available (hundreds of thousand or even millions of VIP points).
- How is this going to be compensated? Specifically these months and years left?

There are several items in the daily VIP pack which are essential, not obtainable in reasonable quantities anywhere else, and probably one of the few reasons customers keep paying to keep their VIP10 status. Could you please explain what will happen to those items?
- Blessed Scroll of Resurrection
- Blessed Scroll of Escape
- Special HP Potion
- Scroll: VIP XPSP Boost

There are several VIP9-only and VIP10-only items which VIP customers can obtain. And again, these are probably the other few reasons why people would keep paying to keep VIP10 status. What will happen to ability to obtain these?:
- VIP Brooch (as it is completely impossible to make Brooch lvl 5 needed for all jewels people have and Brooch lvl 4 does not have enough open slots for jewels)
- Navy Transformation

You’ve mentioned that VIP perks (XP boost, damage boost/reduction, All stats increase, chance of drop, etc) will be converted to collections. Here are few questions:
- Will the amount of bonuses (percentages, stats, etc) be the same?
- Will those collections be temporary? If so, will customers paying the same amount of money per month be able to keep all of those all the time? Could this be automatic (it is really inconvenient to redo something every month on each of many VIP10 chars)?
- VIP coins (do not mix with VIP points) - there is nothing valuable to spend them on in a VIP coin shop, except XP rune (and it is important only during XP events and is time-limited). People have hundreds of thousands of these VIP coins accumulated (I personally probably have around 1-2 million total on my VIP10 accounts). The only item which was worth buying there was Sealed Rune Stage 1, but it was removed without a warning in patch notes during conversion of Runes to Soul Crystals. Is it possible to at least return Runes lvl 1 (in the form of Aden Crystal lvl 1) to the VIP coin shop?

The player went to great lengths to clearly expose his line of reasoning, waiting for a response from the staff and simply didn't get any. Total neglect. Does the Forum still exist in its original function, to establish communication, or has it just become a bulletin board? Where you just paste information. -

Shall we fix the wrong things on the server?
We've been talking about staff errors on the server for years and nothing has been done.
PK system, needs to be overhauled, it's all wrong, crime pays here.
Dwarf, it's been destroyed, any idea to restore their glory?
Maps, quests, when are you going to activate things, or are you going to keep destroying the map to what extent?
There is much more to be said, but I need to know if this new Staff is here to interact, talk to the players, or if we should look for a illegal server. Since they offer the glory of Classic and interaction with players through the forum.

Does anything change in the forum with new members of the Staff, will there be dialogues, questions and answers, some positions about what we talk about in the forum?

I was in the process of going up the VIP of my char, but now I'm even discouraged.

Waiting for more information, and hoping it's not a system that bots can benefit from. (as has been happening in 3 years)

Over the years, Staff makes us believe that it has no intention of being close to the community, of dialoguing.
Events have declined more and more over the years. Being ignored everything that is said in the forum/tickets

Here at home I have a fixed IP for the game (my wife complained a lot about having to confirm her email)
All our accounts with the same error. -
There are a few more bots still on the server.
Just like this last event, it was at 70% or + gain per bot. No doubt generated Tickts/Posts in the forum.
Without a doubt, I affirm here the importance of an interactive Staff, in the tickets the answers are always automatic. And in the Forum it has become rare to have a response in recent years, just a standard update post. server on/off.

We need few things:
* Start with a staff that really dialogues through the "Forum" tool
* Really classic, could be the last chronicle, or Interlude, with everything I had.
* Respect, we are tired of auto-response, forum and ticket openings -
I wonder if the Staff has no shame. Anos bot benefits, this last event was wide open.
So many complaints, so many tickets, and I think, how does this staff work, because I confess that I still don't understand.
All players here are at least outraged, because the event is over and the Bot took more than 70% of the prizes.

Of course, NCSoft intends to profit from maintaining the server.
Everyone knows that given the attention being paid to Classic, players are leaving.
We want the server to continue, but let's point out some problems, all directly related to the game:
Classic is lacking everything that the Classic game had;
Where are the pets? They've existed since L1, L2, all chronicles, but in classic L2 they don't exist?
The map has been through a process of destruction; features are added for the other versions of the game that share the same map, yet, they aren't active or even remotely functional within the Classic servers, leading to empty villages, grind areas lacking NPCs, etc.. etc...
I'm going to be very clear here, and I do this in order to save the Classic l2 server. NCSoft wants players, they want active people playing, they want fair and decent events, so Staff, make simple changes, starting with:
* Staff with an attitude of humility and dialogue with the players;
* True Classic L2; fix the map, add old features, etc.
* Quests; all of them currently lacking in substance or real designed effect compared to other versions of the game; boils down to a pointless grind at some point.
* Pets
* Active scenarios
* No bots on the server;
* Worthy events, not the antics that have been offered, where bots win everything;I would pay a monthly fee to play on a server with what I'm describing.
illegal servers offer more classic than NCSoft itself, why is that?

Unfortunately I have open tickets about the use of bots at events for over 1 year.
From bots that only take specific items, like bots running and being the only sellers of events.But I'm guessing that NCSoft just accepts that. Well, it still happens to this day.

Undoubtedly this maintenance is very long, is this related to last week's bug, where mobs stopped respawning (mobs, summons)?Or can we expect something new soon in Classic?
