After certain level you will just cap your SP points (at 5b SP), this only affects pre-76ish levels.
So trick is to relax and choose only something you really need

Additionally, removal of any system/damage/consumable/etc messages also does not provide any kind of way of knowing when character is about to port to oly.

No damage and other systems message text is common problem, not just mine. Can be confirmed by any player. This should be addressed ASAP as this makes game pretty much unplayable.
Bug:
- No Teleport Flags from NCoin shop (and these were tradable)
- No My Teleport scrolls from NCoin shop (and these were tradable)
- Can only buy them for L2 Coins (which you can buy for NCoins)
- Monetary value of My Teleport scrolls is now 10x more than it was - 6.2 cents/each instead of 0.62 cents each. This is unacceptable.
In short - I've found no way to bring back system/damage/item usage/etc messages.
New chat UI is useless and unusable now because of that.

The purpose of this thread is to bring attention of someone from the team (including aforementiones Hermes and Wissp) who could actually look into situation with consciousness and not just support engineers, who use canned answers and don't really look into the issue.

Dear @Hermesand @Wissp, I would appreciate if you spend few minutes reading this thread.
I've been playing this game on official servers since around 2003-2004 (you can check my ingame account creation date). Back in days there were a lot more players even though game was subscription-based ($15/month). There are several reasons for this:
Since some time ago, as number of players kept declining (after release followed High5, while High5 was one of the most loved releases ever - because you ACTUALLY listened to players when was creating it), but then you moved to p2w (don't call it f2p, this is lie and you know it) scheme to try to mitigate declining profits because of declining population. It is like trying to put off fire with gasoline.
There are hundreds of random-named bots farming adena for sale through RMT everywhere on the map now, I keep seeing them for the past several years I play on Giran server. Same characters. Yet, instead you ban people who are real players. They actually PLAY the game, they love it and L2 is more than just a game, it is community, clans are family. Due to the nature of the game - long-long way to get to the endgame content - people become not just playmates, but kind of family.
To increase revenue you need to attract real players (with content and lower prices as well) and don't ban them for no reason.
From what I know talking to the guy mentioned in this topic - he needed another account for some reason, created it and immediately got blocked by IP - which means every single character he plays got ban for CREATING ACCOUNT. Read it again. This does sound ridiculous.
My ask here is to carefully review recent tickets created - my friend sent them and got response that "no further communication will happen" with 0 explanation (canned answer "thorough review has been conducted") or even attempt to figure out what has happened.
I would highly appreciate your REAL analysis on the situation and unblocking of my friend.

If something works in a certain way for many years, it is not a bug, but feature. Feature your customers (especially paying customers) expect. With such a reply you are showing great disrespect and literally telling us that you do not care about customers.
Now that you've removed VIP system and provided 0 adequate replacement for it (including VIP-only items) - there is no reason to pay for anything in this game.
My ask is simple: let your HQ know that we here have completely different gamestyle AND customer experience expectations. We are not some small country with millions of players obsessed with 20-year old game, we are people who played this back in days and keep playing out of nostalgy. We spend our hard earned bucks and want to get adequate level of customer experience.
My asks:
- Bring back items which were VIP-only (brooch, bsoe/bres/special HP pots/etc)
- Change previously obtained items (including VIP XP scrolls (which we already PAID FOR!)) to permanent
- Make transformation sealbooks (NOT fragments) tradable
- Fix adena drops
- Fix XP
- Fix mob spawns
Please let me know ETA on when you are going to do this.

Also, 2000+ VIP XP scrolls expiring? Are you nuts? Leave at least those items which were already obtained from VIP daily reward boxes alone.
- no world chat
- no way to get same perks for VIP10+++
- no warehouse box
- no brooch lvl 5 (aka VIP-only brooch)
@Jujirevert this update now, and come later with something which would show at least some respect to paying customers.

With the retirement of VIP system long-time paying customers (VIPs) have many concerns in relation to this upcoming change. We would like to voice these concerns before it is too late and there are chances to influence how bad this change will be for paying customers (knowing history of NC doing things only worse in past many years this is real probability).
We would appreciate if you could comment and we could have conversation which would result in the solution which would not impact too adversely your paying customers.
We’ve found out this page for Korean L2 (referred as ‘Talking Island’ there) (I understand that it will be slightly different for NA L2 Classic, but baseline pretty much shows that it is really bad):

It seems that during the so-called ‘conversion’ period there will be an option to exchange VIP points and/or VIP coins to some items, all of which will be imprint. Overall list of items AND the fact those will be imprint makes this ‘conversion’ a bad attempt to cover up the fact that paying customers once again are not treated appropriately by NC.
