Yeah, market manipulation on this item is disgusting, only few have enough resources to pull this off. AshesOfAden Posted February 5, 2023 Share Posted February 5, 2023 Its due to bad promotions people stopped buying loot boxes and item generation in game slowed down which is the reason why prices went up , more people buy boxes more will get crappy reward which they dont need "Greater Runes" in our example, and they will sell these for fraction of the price as there would be loads of these, In game item generation does not exists so its down to pay boxes to help people get items. Its a little something called inflation and it happens a lot in L2... some prices of the top of my head is that price per bil in 2014 was 65$/bil, 2018 was 7$/bil, 2021 was 2.5$ per bill and about a week ago, it was 0.8/0.9$ bil (possibly less) based on Ncoin prices. also in 2018 a +15 Elmore was 200b = 1400$, now its 1 trill, 800-900$ so in reality prices have gone down....
