Game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 4 a.m. PDT / 6 a.m. CDT / 7 a.m. EDT / 1 p.m. GMT+2 and will be unavailable for approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes. With this maintenance: Back to School sale starts for three weeks! The Summer Hot Time event will start for three weeks! The Ancient Cloaks promotion continues for one week! Summer Watermelon Bash event will continue for one week! All Watermelon event related items will be deleted next week on 9/1! The Marvelous Mermaid Chests will be deleted.

The daily free resurrection penalty for the Blackbird server will default back to 2 free resurrections daily. Fixed an issue where the L2 Coin search in the L2 Coin shop was not functioning properly. The following chat restrictions will be implemented for the Elcadia server: General Chat (White) – Lv. 25 Whispers (Pink) – Lv. 25 Shout (Orange) – Lv. 50 Trade (Light Pink) – Lv. 50
  6. Okay, having the team look into it. Update: We looked at it and the items are dropping as intended. They're not meant to be easy, and my best advice is to keep farming.

  8. Because our Platform team performs maintenance across multiple titles outside of Lineage II, delaying server maintenance will probably not be possible. I'll float the rest of your idea up the chain—no promises that it will be implemented though.

  12. Hey Everyone - We are very aware of the intermittent outages on Blackbird. I know this is frustrating, but I don't have a status update at this time. I'm doing my best to get you one, and I'll be sure to let you all know as I have information.

  15. Good to know. For now, keep clear of Transcendent Dungeons until the lag issue is fixed. I know it's not ideal, and it messes with your progression, but it's the only option at the moment. This is not ideal, and definitely not intentional. We don't have a ton of info about what the compensation will be, and I make no promises apart from making sure to keep the team updated so that everyone feels good about it. So, if it were me (and it is because my main is on Blackbird), until the issue is resolved, don't do anything that will cost you pots. It's not ideal, I know, but for now it helps. First, your English is epic, so never apologize for it. Second, thank you. I know I'm new around these parts, but I'm not new to launching MMO's. There's always some issue that keeps players from playing. If you know me, you'll know that keeping players happily playing is my personal motto. If crafting is costing you mats because of latency, then for now, try if possible to refrain from crafting. It's not the best, but it's the best I have at the moment. That all being said, we're doing a lot of talks about solutions here, and will continue to do so until we figure out exactly what is going on with Blackbird.
  16. Thank you so much, @WhiteLion-- it's understandably frustrating to not have a ton of info, but I do assure you that the Devs are actively working hard to resolve the issue, and I'm trying hard to get as much info as I can share.
  17. For now, I can't personally offer you workarounds, but I did update the community here and we are working at trying to find a fix. This is an understandably frustrating situation all around and we're doing our best. I ask that you keep letting me know what's happening in the thread I link in the update post, and I'll keep escalating everything up the chain.
  18. Hey Everyone - We fully understand that the experience on Blackbird has been truly frustrating. There is no clear resolution at this time, but I wanted to make sure that I update you before the weekend. We have been working no-stop with our Development team to find different solutions and fixes and will continue to work on the issue over the weekend and try to make adjustments without downtime. At this time, I ask that you continue to update us with any latency reports in this ongoing thread where I'm actively escalating player experience and sentiment. Last, I see a fair number of questions about compensation, and it will happen, but after we fully resolve the issue.   21. Honestly, I'm unsure, but I'll let the team know of this finding. Thanks for the offering of information. I really appreciate it I'm sorry, I misunderstood. So the issue with Blackbird is isolated on that server, and we're trying to find the reason for that to be honest. We're not seeing the same issues present themselves on Elcadia.
  22. You're saying lag is experienced with NPC's, not with items? Only reason I ask, is we have some players also reporting lag continuing on items as well.
