Yes that is correct. People who are below 118 lvl will buy night market coins and will get the cookie buff for 50% VP bonus and 300% XP/SP for 30 minutes. Server side XP settings will remain the same, except from the removal of party member level difference in XP. That's the "paid exp event" for 18th anniversary. This move will make players to buy night market coins (it means that NC will earn money), use a lot of their xp pots, maintain xp pots and the cookie till the end of anniversary event and then they are gonna announce a real xp event, maybe in June if not May.

More players needs to do this. Also don't buy tomorrow's night market coins BUT unfortunately people will buy. Let's end this nightmare once and for all. Every Wednesday we get ninja patches, nerfs on boxes (like water supply boxes from crisis), boost on mobs and other hidden changes that no one from the admin team posts in forums. Every event is extremely overpriced with useless rewards. They are playing with us and they are laughing at us. The community, the players that have supported them for years. No one from the admin team plays the game, they don't know how bad the game is, they don't know what the prices are for items, they don't know we cannot xp anymore. They've hired some guys that have NO IDEA about l2 and the current situation of the servers so they can announce expensive pay2win events. The worst part is that this event is called "18th anniversary" OMG

Or maybe servers won't last till 19th anniversary.

I challenge @Juji @Arctic @EMpulse to create a new character and play like normal players for a week. Then you will see what we're talking about (level wall, money wall, hard mobs etc)

@Arctic from this topic , you can take what ppl posted here for feedback as well. You nerf drops on purpose and the worst thing is you nerf them more and more every Wednesday with weekly maintenance.

The image shows the passive skill description and the other image the aquamarine in inventory. Seems it's a typo mistake in the passive skill's description since they wanted to write "there is a 15% chance of recovering 136 MP. Skill Cooldown - 5%" to match the description with the equipped aquamarine because what's written in the passive skill now makes no sense at all

This. I understand that content updates in games bring a lot of changes but the situation with you guys (ncwest) has gone too far. When you boost mobs's stats you should also give undergeared players a chance to enjoy the game by giving them damage and defense items as well. It's hard for most of us to kill mobs in the new Storm of Terror update like we used to, even in Silent Valley. And remember, as long as people are HAPPY that their money worth something by getting items to progress in the game, they will spend more. Let's hope this post will bring the appropriate changes in our lovely game and won't be buried like the previous one that Hime posted.

Save all your pots you got from free blessed exalted event, save your cakes, save your maintain VP pots and buy destiny pack on April 20th. Anniversary events and x2 xp event for sure.

The players that abused the system and had extra dual certi skills are whales. So, no penalty for them. If NC ban the big spenders, they will lose money.

Ofc it's not difficult. They made this change on purpose, they blame the devs and admins won't respond to this issue until people will forget it and stop asking about it

1) You can read all the latest "events" in the website: https://www.lineage2.com/news Below each image there are color tags that refer to Lineage 2 Live, Aden and Classic versions of the game so you know which article you need to read. All of the events (paid or free) will require you to kill mobs to get different kind of items as well as different kind of buffs (like XP buffs or buffs that increase your stats) from the NPCs in towns. The two free active events that are currently active with those buffs are https://www.lineage2.com/news/power-of-love-event and https://www.lineage2.com/news/milky-way-event If you don't kill mobs (monsters) you will not level up. 2) Mana potions aren't available in the game. Feoh (mages) need to kill mobs fast so their MP won't run low. Killing mobs faster requires better gear such as good weapon, gems (sapphire, blue cat's eye higher level) as well as increased attribute attack damage. 3) You follow and complete all the beginner quests till you start the Exalted quests from NPC Lionel Hunter in Heine. Those quests require you to kill 40.000 mobs in the first 2 parts and then this number increases. Every time you complete an Exalted quest you will get different low grade rewards like brooch, dragon shirt, gems (sapphire and blue cat's eye i mentioned above), exalted armor, weapon, dyes and more. A very good start with a nice weapon, armor, jewels and different kind of potions/buffs that give you stats and XP gain is to purchase the Blessed Exalted Armor pack from l2 store. In order to become "stronger" and earn money (adena), first you must spend real money in the game. You can start by purchasing the Blessed Exalted Armor pack (robe for mages/healers, heavy for tanks/tyrrs/iss and light for damage dealers like daggers, archers) to boost your character's stats and then you need to level up. Leveling up your character will boost your stats more and you will unlock new areas like Tower of Insolence in lvl 110 and other limited instances in lower levels. Make sure you do Coal Mines (daily) instance every day with random parties, you will get good xp. Also, leveling up faster will require you to always have VP on (the green bar on the top left corner of your screen). How do you keep this up? Pay real money in l2 store. The best way to make money in the game is to buy NCoins and sell them. Don't get excited when you see events like this one https://www.lineage2.com/news/love-boxes that's currently active and you think you will get items. It's simple. You will get NOTHING if you open those boxes and you will lose all your money. Better sell them to make sure you'll get adena. This is the best strategy, sell NCoin or boxes and get adena, then buy the item(s) you want directly from other players or by using the Auction House (AH). Conclusion: Lineage 2 is a game for rich people, also known as "Pay 2 Win". If you spend real money you will take a VERY HUGE advantage (levels and items) over the other players. If you don't want to spend real money, your progress will be slow as hell. Your character must always be on and kill mobs 24hours, endlessly. The game is a mess since there are a lot of items, NPCs, etc. in the game that are outdated. New players will have a very hard time figuring out how everything works. You can do daily dungeons with random players but this requires good items, otherwise don't even think about it. I hope i've covered everything. If you need anything else, feel free to ask.

You, as Lineage 2 Lead Producer, wanna tell us that you don't know how all those ninja nerfs are taking place in the game with every weekly maintenance and all the time you "blame" the devs? Maybe someone from the "dev team" is doing that on purpose - or - he/she get's orders from "someone". You might wanna take a look into this.

They don't have any other "event" paid or free to add, that's why they have added this st***d box event with crap rewards. NC is back to the usual again and we thought 2022 started well but meh... I've said that in another topic too. People wanna spend money and they wanna make sure their money worth it by getting items to gear their toon and as long as they buy those crap boxes, NC will continue adding more and more. Maintain and XP pots are in your wh, you can get them there. I thought that too. Arctic is Hime probably. @Juji any chance to inform us about what's coming up to Lineage 2 because you have deleted the other topic that a player said the game is no fun anymore?

Lineage 2 Classic is dead and full of bots. No active players. Aden is the Essence version (something like a mix from live and classic). If you google search l2 essence you will see what Aden is. Also, aden is same as live, you leave your char afk to xp and it's pay2win BUT the difference with live is that you will get pk, a lot.
