  1. Then I don't understand the purpose of this topic, if this is the end result anyway (in less than 24h) o.O

You'll buy them, no worries.A normal person would get lv4-5 and be fine with it, but you what those sweet sweet lv6-7. Well you'll pay for it.

This is false. I won in the power of love event 2 years ago, and got the in-game prize.

I had read participation terms and even though it explicitly stated only for US residents, I typed my country, which is Greece, and won.

What is your opinion on this instance?

It would apply to both since each winner gets both a physical and in-game prize.

The difference is that now they added a physical prize. And yes, the rules always stated that it's only for US and Canada peeps, but they're obliged to put that information anyway for legal purposes.

Do you really need the top grade one or is a midgrade advanced one good too?

The issue is that I have been trying for a rare one and have gotten 0...

    Getting tired of it :S

It depends on your patience ^_^ the difference in the commune skills from  a mid-grade Advanced Water to top-grade Luminous is +1% or +10 in the stats. So a stage 2 skill of a mid-grade homunculus is the same as the stage 1 skill of a top-grade one. A stage 3 of the mid-grade is the same stats as a stage 2 of the top-grade. If you don't wanna spend any more vitality and SP, a mid-grade is good enough. If you wanna continue to try your luck, top-grade is always best xD

    Dwarf feoh storm screamer? :DDD

Yeah it's possible. You'll loose INT, but you'll gain on the CON and LUC stats. So it all depends in all you build your character ^_^

  5. Depending on your priorities, for a Feoh, for PVP I would choose a Ayri (m. skill power) and a Pallo (defense); for PVE I would choose Ayri (m. skill power) and Chuchu (vita recovery while farming). Of course Luminous options of all the above would be nice. Probably in future updates, you can hold more homunculus, but for now, those seem good options, depending on what game style you play.

Besides that, +1 for everything @Mystikal said above.

Luminous Ari effects / abilities still lv1 :

    Proc: 3% p/m skill power for 15s

    1. con/men/luc/cha +3

    2. Hp/mp +5%

    3. +50 attribute

    4. P/m skill power 5%

    5. Skill cd 5%

Dunno if the proc ability changes with lvls.

This is the maximum stats it can get for a level 5 homunculus as well.

Regarding the skill of the Top-Grade Luminous  Ayri (increases P./M. Skill Power by 3% during 15 seconds), seems to be activating once every 2 minutes (while attacking mobs with in game macro).

  7. Note that this might be different on NCWest, but just for you guys to have an idea, leveling up an homunculus from Level 1 to Level 5 (0%, didn't made it 100% on level 5) I consumed the following Enchant Points:

Level 1 to Level 2: ~50 Enchant Points

Level 2 to Level 3: ~80 Enchant Points

Level 3 to Level 4: ~160 Enchant Points

Level 4 to Level 5: ~240 Enchant Points

So you need at least ~530 Enchant Points to unlock all the Commune Skills for "gamble enchant" xD

You level the subclass for the skills. That's about it. I suggest picking a Yul Ghost Sentinel, since you already have the equipment that you'll need. Plus, Yul level quickly to 105...and later 110 (?) when the subclass cap is raised.

There's no subclass anymore on the LIVE servers. Just dual class. No level limit either

  9. You can choose whatever class you like. Before the class that you choose for subclass could affect your main, but that doesn't happen anymore. You have dual and subclass skills, regardless of what class you chose.

Most people make dual classes that can share gear with main (for example yul/yul, yul/iss, feoh/feoh, feoh/healer and so on). In my opinion, Ghost Sentinel would be a good option, but it's really up to you and the people that you play with ^_^ good luck

I'm well aware of the three different types of Homunculos; I have a General on my main and a top grade on my buffer :(.  My theory is that by investing enchantment points in the Homunculos Ability section (not the Communing Ability section) you can raise the grade of your Homunculos.  I mean hell, there is an actual Exp section you can invest points into.  This isn't any type of luck/slot machine function either; 1 Enchant point = xxx amount of Exp (XP).  Why else would they have this if not to raise the grade of your Homunculos.

Like I said, I could be wrong though.

    1. You can only enchant the communing abilities after you increased the pet level. Ability 1 opens on level 1, ability 2 on level 2, and so on until 5.

Communing abilities only open up for "enchant" after you increase the pet's level ^_^

are you sure about trigger its low on top? not reverse? low trigger low and top trigger faster?

I believe the trigger skills have the same "cooldown" regardless of the grade/rank of the pet. Just changes the effect / % of the skill

I think you are wrong about this.  There are 2 areas in which a Homunculus can be improved.  You can Enchant (level) Homunculus Ability and Cummuning Ability.  While I'm not certain about this, if you can't increase the grade of your Homunculus then there us ZERO reason to enchant the Homunclus Ability area.

The issue here is how NCWest decides to put up information (or the lack of) in their patch notes... In game what you have is colors and names, let's call it ranks/grades: General (gray background), Advanced (green background) and Top-grade (red background) for each homunculus. So 5 different ones x 3 rank/grades.

This cannot be improved so far. You get korean random chance in the creation of the homunculus, and a General one cannot be upgraded / leveled / whatever you wanna call it to a Top-grade one.

Regarding the stages 1, 2, 3 for the Communing Abilities (slot machine), that table you have in the patch are only stats the General (gray background, lower grade pet). They are missing the tables with the stats for the Advanced and Top-grade homunculus. And the difference for a level 5 stage 3 general homunculus skills to a level 5 stage 3 top-grade homunculus stats are +20 or +2%, sure it isn't much, but that goes as everything else in this game. If you have a top-grade pet for your character class, it's best to invest on it. If not, you play with what you have ^_^ not everyone can afford to spend vitality bars and 50bi SP every 24h.

BUT you cannot upgrade a General low level homunculus to a Top-grade one.
