Before everyone starts flaming me for picking the wrong server please realize that I know I messed up. Yes I am a stupid American, yes I didn’t look up what GMT+1 was compared to EST (which is my time zone). I made an assumption, in hindsight I know this is always a very bad thing when dealing with this game. I assumed since this was a NA release there was going to be and east coast server and a west coast server, since Europe already had their release. Regardless of my ignorance, when can we expect server transfers to the only NA server? I want to be able to do Raids at a normal time not 3pm Est or earlier and enjoy playing with friends I accidentally mislead by starting on the wrong server. Although from what I read about all the trouble Blackbird has had at least I didn’t have to deal with that at the time.

Not to mention all the people who broke their cloaks going plus one for Christ’s sake as well as their Eva’s Talisman.

As far as I’m aware macros are disabled for Aden. It would be nice to have them because I could delay my skills so I’m not always out of mp.

My WC didn’t get the cgrade armor because I got frustrated at 52 and started a bow user on the same acct (boy that was a mistake) so she is still in Aden gear with a plus 11 aden wep. Currently lvl 63 now and she levels slow but she’s cheap and I get about 750k a day from her drops and adena for my main acct. I’m not really in a hurry to level her but by far she is the cheapest character to play and I would argue probably one of the only classes you can level on Aden with paying $10 a month for the 30 day green sayas potion.

Daggers are expensive to level for the time being. They will get fixed with the next patch, but who knows when that is going to be. WC’s and Overworld’s seem to be the cheapest to lvl because they never need hp pots. Only problem is they level slow because other mages and bow users attack faster and get last hit and they rarely use manner mode so you’re often competing for the same farm. My Dwarf is 100% self sustaining as far as adena goes but leveling slow because she’s melee and has to be in high traffic areas. Personally I set my WC and check it 5 times a day for the daily mission rewards. Only time she dies is if she’s pkd. You can play the game with minimal money investment, you can’t be hero or lvl quickly with out being a whale. If you get into a lvl 4+ clan you get good buffs and benefits and chances to upgrade your gear if they do some raids. Good luck with what you choose.

Yea, I don’t know whose idea it was with crafting lvl 4 buffs and high tier skills, but I almost quit after 76 because of it. The adena cost alone is bad enough but then you have to gather materials as well. I don’t see how wearing heavy armor helps because we don’t have those masteries. I was planning on using the majestic set . The levels of Dex listed on the explanation would require you to be over lvl 100 unless I’m missing something besides tat’s and the point you get per lvl after 76

There are 2 Xp only areas with no drops Primeval and the transcendental daily’s. This is a touchy subject though, the way to get rid of people not using manner-mode is basically pk them. Problem is you have Titans taking it to extreme in cruma and they just kill the whole room not worrying about losing their gear because there is no penalty for being red in the game. I personally do primeval twice a day and buy the extra ticket for trans as well so I at least get 300m Xp and about 40 of the magic lamps which gives me a shot at more xp. I hunt with mm on and let me tell you as a melee it’s sickening watching my toon bounce from mob to mob only getting 1/4 the drops I should get because ranged players don’t have mm on. IMO they should bring back the karma system where if you have a lot of pks you drop gear period. I know I can’t be the only one here who lost gear in Classic and Live because I went red and couldn’t port to town because the guards would kill me. What Aden has right now isn’t a penalty. Heck before they reworked the aggro system I used to pull 2 rooms of mobs into bot rooms play dead and get an area to hunt. Now it takes 3 or 4 people attacking 1 Titan to get their room back and there’s no chance of pilfering their corpse for goodies.

If you have a dwarf alt I find mine is the luckiest at combining, drops etc. I bought 40 of the bracelets and gave them to my dwarf and got 8 lvl 2’s and out of those 1 lvl 3 with a leftover lvl 2. I used to do this with over enchanting before all the imprint crap makes that mute for the time being.

I put 3 points into con and have a +4dex -4con tat. I’m probably going to do a +4 men - 4 int for mana regen and I’m not sure what I’m going to do with the last one. I can’t bring myself to take -4 str for more dex and seems like con is more important than anything because of stun resistance. This has been an issue forever with GH’s it’s like NCSoft can’t write the stat algorithm correctly. Yes they have a high str but their con is crap and dex is less than WR there really shouldn’t be any reason outside of chance that a GH wins this fight. TBH the best dagger should be the Human atm because con seems to be better than anything yet somehow they messed that algorithm as well.

Nicely put. I guess I’m just venting a bit. I remember paying the subscription rate for this game before it became free to play (haha) and even though leveling sucked I was never spending more adena than I made per day which is the case at the moment. The bs with having to craft all higher skill spellbooks, the material drops you can’t sell back to the store or trade to a dorf because their imprinted for some reason, lack of area’s for meelees to hunt without having to run all over the place, getting pked by meat pie orcs so they can pull all the mobs in the room and zero equipment drop penalty if we do decide to kill them when they’re red. The fact the guards in town don’t attack reds on site and they can still interact with Npc’s. I really don’t understand wtf designer’s were thinking. I dunno, I was really excited about this release. My Live acct is 5 lvls off of the top players which means I get 2 shotted by those players during sieges. I was looking forward to starting with everyone and not being gimped by my level. It’s a disappointment, Amazon’s New World is being released the end of the month I will probably start playing that because Aden might be an okay game but NCSoft is all about “how do we drain everyone’s $$” not content.

I didn’t want to flame until I reached the 3rd class change, but now that I have I have to ask WTH! It’s bad enough being a melee class in this game yet none of the skills for daggers have the half-kill chance which makes pve for daggers bearable. Moreover, the cool down for shadow step is 30 seconds on Aden while on Live and Classic is significantly less than that and it reduces the ability of the class to actually be what it’s supposed to be which is an assassin. Forget the fact that I literally ran out of mp fighting a bladedancer for 5 minutes not being able to kill it while it not being able to kill me. On top of the a flipping meat pie orc with a dex of 30 is somehow capable of chain stunning me even being 5 lvls lower than me. I have to buy 40k in hp pots a day to hunt mobs 5 lvls below me and me gear doesn’t suck. I should be used to this since I have been a le dagger since beta and it took them forever to become relevant, but why would you nerf skills that are a part of a character that actually make it a solo class in a game that is supposed to focus on solo hunting?

I’ve been running around Plains of the Lizard men looking for Antigo to get my pet and haven’t found him yet. Does anyone have a ss of where he appears on the map that you an share? I’ve tried using /loc Antigo nothing pops up I don’t even know if that command exist anymore. Please help me out. Thanx

Got booted out of server 30 mins ago, I can log into every server except it. Doesn't say its down, no message on the forums, what the heck is going on???

I’m a lvl 75 pw, my friend is lvl 73 pr, and another is lvl 60+ Titan. We have played since beta. I’m looking for an English speaking clan that does raids and all the other group activities. All 3 of us have been heroes before and are available for raids in the evening. We all live in eastern time zone. I’ve played a dagger class my whole l2 career and the pr has primarily played an archer. We use discord. Dunno what else to say. My ingame name is Infidel message me here or ingame please.
