Max performance pure gaming computer and have Avast installed. Dude(tte), uninstall that junk that pretends to be an anti virus and you're good. Avast is a terrible anti virus and is known to block any thing related to any anti-bot (not just Gameguard) for many years. If this is truly your only for gaming PC, you don't need an anti virus because you aren't downloading on the system from unreliable sources.

Lineage II is the only MMORPG in the world that doesn't let you keep items gained in an event. Anniversary event giving you free Freya Ice Rose? Timed Attendance event giving you free Shining Dragon Hour Glass? Timed Login event giving you free Dark Honey Beer? Timed Event giving you 30 days Greater Ruby/Sapphire box? Deleted on maintenance And this results in many many many item-id's for the same item. Because every event creates new Freya Ice Rose. I have an alt with 4 different stacks of Freya Ice Rose. The few lucky ones that didn't got deleted. I do agree that the Rune Stones obtained from leveling 100 to 105 shouldn't be tradable. But the game should be smart enough to see 2 stacks of items of the same kind (Rune Stone) and combine them together to learn a skill. Classes like Tyrr Warrior and Iss Enchanter already have a hard time collecting the Rune Stones, compared to any Yul Archer that only need 8 in their entire life span (vs 60+ on Tyrr/Tank/Iss).

Simple solution: Bring out of party char with you with a pickup macro. I never lose any scrolls on Dino.

Let's see how many same named, same tagged characters are standing near event platform in Giran, Oren and Rune tonight. If the anti-bot really works, those shouldn't be there any more. If they aren't here here tonight, and are there tomorrow the anti-bot been cracked already. localhost managed to crack every single adjustment done within 12 hours when we still had GameGuard. @Juji The game client patched something. Does this mean this is the anti-bot? Does the anti-bot check game files and other running programs like FROST? Does it monitors incoming packets like XIGNCODE? Or is it server sides like World Of Warcraft's GateKeeper? Last anti-bot attempts flagged so many false positives on daily use programs, maybe we need to know what we dealing with. Before trying to play L2 in the background and run some IDE software, remote desktop to login onto Citrix etc.

Nerfs happened. @Juji @LIME @Hime Care to explain why Isle of Souls lv108 adena has been nerfed? Prior to Herald patch; solo easily 240-300m Prior to 23 June maintenance; solo easily 400-500m Now; 100-120m Mobs got harder with Herald of Light patch, but going there now is just not cost effective.

We now all have seen the rewards of the L2Store Promotion as they were intended to be, not the NCWest Special Edition. I hope in the future, we get promotions that are closer to the Korean original than the junk we had now. Enchanting a weapon to +12 for a lv4 Jewel vs Dragon Claw; THAT IS BIG DIFFERENCE in value and power.

Is LIME just another dummy account that we'll tag when server crashes or serious things are going wrong, but never actually replies to us? Or... is LIME someone real and will act like a real moderator/producer/game master and will follow in the footsteps of Spam, OMEGA, BusterCasey and Neutron?

The Lineage II auction house is outdated compared to every other MMORPG out on the market. It was a great step forward a few years ago that we didn't had to do private stores any more to sell everything we had, or everything we wanted but the Auction House lost its valuable purpose. The auction house has to be overhauled and improved. Current issues: You cannot search for a specific enchant level. If I want to sell my +10 Krishna Thrower I have to first filter on R110 Weapons and than filter again on Bows. The search box doesn't allow to search for +10 Krishna to filter out all +10 Krishna weapons to do value/price comparison. The search engine is rubbish and doesn't allow searching for specific item names. Let's say I want to search auction house Chef Monkey's Belt. An older item but still. The search will give no result while 10 are in auction house. All because the search engine doesn't understand special characters like the ' which, sadly enough, is in almost every single new item in the game like for example Angel's Ring, Dragon's Ring, Eva's Necklace. It makes searching for items a chore. You cannot buy partial stacks. Thanks to all "events" market sometimes get flooded with items. Few months ago thousands of Rune Stones were flooded onto the market, more recent Gem Energy. All of them are being put into auction house in either stacks of 1, 5, 20 or just big bulks tacks of 100+. But if the lowest price in the auction house is a stack of 200, and I only want 4 I have to buy the whole stack of 200 OR buy more expensive smaller stack. Why every modern MMORPG allows you to buy 4 of that 200 stack, except Lineage II? Majority of items cannot be put into auction house. Items like Cloaks, Circlets, Shirts, Bracelets all are locked out from being put into auction house. Every modern item basically has a version or restriction that cannot be listed. While obsolete junk in my warehouse from 2009 can happily be listed. Either allow is to put everything in auction house or nothing at all. Make auction house accessible everywhere, not just via the NPC! You already have added the option to access the Dimensional Merchant from an on screen menu. The Dimensional Merchant really doesn't do much and for majority of the players is a feature they never need(ed) and never used. Adding direct access to the auction house from the same menu bar as Timed Zones, Ranking and the Dimensional Merchant allows us to buy and sell items from our inventory straight from the hunting zones. Not an issue but maybe good for market Add the 5 newest listed items on the blank screen of auction house. Why prompt us with a blank screen, if you can list 5 most recent listed items. Add the 5 items with biggest price change. This is very common in modern MMORPGs. The auction house/central market/marketplace listing a bunch of items that recently had a big price change (up or down wards). This will allow everybody to find bargains (or wrongly listed items) which allow more fun market play. Usually all the wrongly listed items are picked up by the bot chars that stand near the auction house NPC and run their script every minute.

Because there is only one line coming in to Greece. And if the connection between AWS and Greece is fukced up you all get the issue. Call Cosmote and ask them what is wrong. Also all the world chat shouting and crying doesn't help. Naia is full with it daily. Better be preemptive and have trace logs and send support tickets so they know what is going wrong. Also... L2 is a 20 year old game, using old tech. That's why WiFi and L2 aren't a best combination. Modern games can "catch" a packet loss or IP change when you're connected. L2 cannot. L2 is old and stupid. L2 will disconnect you. @AlchohealerDon't know about optic fiber. I had a CP member in Paris with Google Fiber disconnecting every half hour with it. As I said. L2 is old tech. But in this modern day you just have to get on the phone, call your ISP and ask why you don't have a static IP. A disconnect at the same time every day every week is just your ISP giving you a new IP which makes the L2 server kick you out. Honestly. My clan members from Greece (most of them Athens region, some of them on the islands, some of them in Thessaloniki) do not disconnect at the same time, it's always just one of them that logs off. Which in my view can just be someone closing their client and not the server kicking them out. So I still say it's a local issue.

Maybe call your ISP and stop crying to NCSoft about you not having a static IP and being assigned a new IP daily causing a disconnect. I have not had a single disconnect from the server, other than one forced by NCSoft due to maintenance since August 2019. @Juji Sad to see that another game breaking bug isn't fixed within a week. Auction House being down on Naia is causing prices to rocket and is really disrupting the market.

If you only would half as mad about 2% of the server killing every Greedy Chests on the field as you would be on fact that NCWest has purposely vital game items behind a limited time paywall while other regions have them always available maybe we would not have this discussion. The reason why you all mad about the Greedy Chests is because you cannot kill them, and you don't want to pay the 2% of the server for items you cannot get. If you would make an account on Core and check over there, these jewels everybody cries about are readily available. Why? Because Brooch Jewels aren't locked away behind limited time paywalls. They are always in the L2Store. So you can ALWAYS get them off the market. There even been a time on Core that you could buy specific boxes, not the random boxes. So if you wanted to go try to make Lv5 Ruby, you could. On Naia/Chronos, you have to wait for a promotion to appear (once every 4-6 months) and buy a ton of boxes. We all know Ruby, Sapphire, Blue and Red Cats Eye are harder to obtain. So you gotta gamble. Gamble a lot just to get Ruby boxes. And than gamble again to make lv3's lv4's and finally try for lv5 at a 4% chance. And I never see people complain about that. The Greedy Chests supply the market with vital items that are needed to progress the game. Thanks to the 17th Anniversary Event everybody running around with Lv20 Ruby/Sapphire/Blue or Red Cats Eye and seeing how powerful these items are. After the event, people will cry that they cannot do exp any more on zone X. And than question how to obtain another Ruby 5. There is no way. Boxes do not exist on market. Using Gemstone Powders to seal lv4 boxes costs almost as much as their value. Gem Energy have the same chance (4%) to upgrade Lv4 to Lv5 and also do not drop regular from Field of Crisis/Venusta Chests. In the end. NCWest is a commercial company and have to reach certain financial quarterly goals. But as long as you complain that other players gain stuff, you aren't able to obtain you have to man up and compete and not be crying on the forum because you cannot. As I said before. I cannot compete for the chests. I have never seen one appear nearby me. I never accidentality killed on during over night exp. But what I can do is gather adena. And I rather pay 150b for Ruby farmed by the 2% of Greedy Chests and improve my gear/setup so I can kill stuff faster (and thus farm more adena) than pay again 800b for Ruby 5 as before Greedy Chests were introduced.

Maybe you should stop playing Lineage II when you can't even understand basic mechanics. The Night Market is a mechanic added to supply market and players with items that aren't currently in any L2Store promotion (some call them an event). A way to catch up by paying a little bit more. That some items are lesser priced in Auction House is just market at work. People will soon level out the price in AH to equal converted prices on Night Market. This is how big players make sure that their investment will increase in value. Basic economics. The removal of the Greedy Chests is the biggest mistake of the year. And I hope within 2 weeks we have them back. Not because I can farm them, but because I can farm other stuff in order to buy the lv5 Brooch Jewels I need off the market place. Paying 150b for Ruby 5? Sure. Sounds good. I remember them going for 800b before Greedy Chests. You think it's to much and that it's only controlled by people that cheat? Maybe you should git gut and compete. If it's nothing more than placing a camera and do big damage, than why you not compete? Afraid of war? Afraid of Hybrid (and whoever farms them on Chronos. Nova? FS?) will kill you overnight for 'stealing' there loot. No. Stop having this pitty small brained logic. They can do it because there is no competition. Even the big boys themself cry about Greedy Chests because they don't get a slice of the pie. @Juji Bring back the Greedy Chests asap! The market needs the items. But figure out a good way to reintroduce them.

I have not heard any of my clan member complain about melee lag in the past 2 weeks. So the removal of Greedy Chests is really not a fix to the problem. I think the problem is still that people using bot programs are not being punished (hard) enough. GM and support staff can track every single trade and adena movement. So they know that bot ddsdufuds0f8sd sends 100m to player Z. Sort the bots out, frees up server, creates less lag. Also as I have mentioned before, the Greedy Chest cameras are less of a problem than all the (dead) pets on every single hunting ground used for crazy dodgy macros. Archers having alts placed everywhere with dead pets they target and dash to to control two groups on Isle of Souls or whole fields on Storm Isle. Dead pets being used by players with buff alts to run far enough out of range to not share exp with. (Dead) Pets are probably causing the same amount of lag as sitting on the ground, not buffing, not looting, not gaining exp, cameras. If idle characters would cause lag, than Juji should create a script that will auto log off anyone with /buy /vendor shop in Aden/Giran. The Greedy Chests have to come back as soon as possible. Not because I am one of the people farming them, but the Greedy Chests supply the market with lv5 jewels. We now all see the effect of having greater level Jewels thanks tot he 17th Anniversary. But for 95-97% of the server having even just 1 level 5 jewel is out of any range. Why? Because they're promotion restriction. They are behind a paywall and they have crazy low enchant rates. While in other regions brooch jewels are always permanent available (EU has them in L2Store, KR has had them on Mammom/NPC). We all know that the Blessed Exalted Armor pack (awesome value for money!) introduction is an attempt to balance the playing field out. But armor/weapon/SA and some jewels doesn't really do the damage increase. The damage comes from brooch jewels and artifacts. And while artifacts are also a pain to enchant, their success rates are way higher and at least always obtainable (Artifact Crystals from Venusta and Field of Crisis boxes). @JujiPlease reintroduce the Greedy Chests asap. But make them spawn in mob packs so everybody has a shot, or make them random drop (not 1/1000million) like Aden Treasure Chests. But do not remove them! Also discuss with your Korean boss if it's possible to add Brooch Jewels permanent to in game shop so prices drop and availability go up.

Juji knows what causes the lag. Korea knows what is causing the lag. EU/RU knows what is causing the lag. But Korea cannot replicate the lag we have. Why? Because the lag we have is caused by bot program injections. And why they cannot replicate that issue? Because NA servers are the only servers were using bot programs isn't a real offense. There is 99% less chance to get caught botting on Naia, Chronos, Classic than on any of the EU, Russian, Korean or Japanese servers. Juji has admitted that they know bots are causing the lag. He knows that the only way to fix the melee lag is to ban the bots. But he also knows that Korea will close down NCWest when the bot overlords can't farm adena any more to exchange for NCoin they buy from poor players. It's hilarious that the servers go into complete dumpster-fire mode every single EXP event. Every 4 months the server goes to complete garbage for 21 to 28 days because nothing has been done in between both events to fix the issues. There hasn't been any new anti bot solutions. There haven't been any bans on top "players". Hence, even support cannot give a clear answer if using a gaming keyboard to set up a keyboard macro is something you can get banned for. It's rubbish all around. I have asked support once, I offered them to load up my account with $500 worth of NCoin if they would swap my dual to main. Not even that made them do it. Knowing that the service exists in Korea, Japan, Russia and Europe it's a business decision by Juji to NOT add it to North American servers. Same for why we cannot buy Dragon Shirts and Brooch Jewels from NPC.

I had 30 scrolls in 1hr, about double indeed of what I got usually. BUT, all scrolls dropped in pairs of two. So the drop rate is still the same, the drop quantity is double. So the event setting is forked. Don't announce that an event setting had Double drop chance when it isn't giving you a higher chance to loot something, it just gives you more with same odds.
