  1. I made a post about Cemetary because I noticed the mobs were bugged much more after the recent maintenance. Bugged as in spawning on top of objects. When mobs get bugged like this it essentially takes them out of the loop because if they are even slightly on a vertical axis, it doesn't get picked up by nexttarget, doesn't get killed and still takes up the mob count. You can kill them manually as the mobs can spawn different locations, but once it gets stuck/bugged again it will forever stay that way. There are mobs spawned literally on top of pillars and on the highest points of the walls around cemetary. So yes it is probably like 30% less mobs in cemetary because they are all stuck in the air. This has been a perenial problem in Sea of Spores and it just so happens the area where mobs get stuck are right where the trees spawn and those trees have like the best loot table in that entire zone. Since I noticed a zone getting bugged recently, I felt it is worthwhile to post about it as bugged spawns are something that can still change today and not an age old problem. Putting these new 500 quests in those zones are the dumbest thing. The bottom corner on the border with Breka is the best spot in Death Pass, but of course it so happens there are lots of rocks that get in the way and bug out mobs. They just need to fix mob spawns for once. When the entire game revolves around farming it is something that should legitimately be a priority to fix.
  2. They are bugged like all the mobs spawning on top of objects like rocks, ledges etc. that didn't exist prior to this recent maintenance. Certain spots like the graveyard squares in the back. Now nearly all mobs are bugged and spawn on top of the tombstones. Again this was not happening when I went there before. Please fix these bugged mob spawns like the notorious one in Sea of Spores. Any mob that spawns even slightly on a vertical axis does not get picked up by auto-target. This is a feature of the game and hence it is a gamebreaking bug if it does not work as it should due to mob spawns being bugged. These bugged mobs will make an impact as the mob spawns are set to a certain quantity and these bugged mobs take up that amount. This has an impact on mob availability with the existing bot problems as well as players being able to use the auto-target function with more mobs being actually available.
  3. Are these new feather of blessing from the store permanent? Can you buy them for multiple characters on the account? You had these during red libra event, but they were temporary.
  4. How are you suppose to progress past even the 50s in this game if you weren't playing from launch? I have always been baffled with this chicken and egg question when everyone always says just buy items. This game is entirely player driven. You can't do raids without gear and players. You can't reliably get gear without players spoiling, farming and crafting. Drops rates this low means you need a healthy and active population for the LEVEL RANGE. When the only players left are 70-80+ and you missed the initial launch wave, what are you supposed to even do? The only thing being sold now is Bluewolf gear. B grade is the minimum. You can't honestly expect someone to just jump into b grade do you? You can't expect someone to farm even 50s in moon armor? Of course it's impossible to farm adena on your way up because this game is designed to barely cover ss costs from just 40s. Why do you insist on rushing players to 55+ in a difficult game like this? You literally encourage players to buy adena from third parties and not necessarily from your own store. At this point you need to reasonably sell actual weapons in the store and not just temporary ones. Sell top d (real top d) - mid c weapons. PERMANENT ones because there are not enough players to support this game. You can't buy items when they don't exist at all. I have intentionally stopped leveling past 50s. I have intentionally stopped doing fom dailies because I can clearly see there is no point in just rushing levels only to be truly stranded in a level range where I can't farm any mob at all. This is exactly what happened to me when I recently made a new char on live. Rush to 100 in a day and you can't even farm even level mobs. You keep selling TEMPORARY weapons, but this strategy does not create RETENTION. Can we have an honest discussion here? Juji? Devs? I'm more than happy spending some money on a game that I enjoy. I understand there are costs. When the game is UNPLAYABLE, it's frustrating and stops me from spending any more money. There has to be some reasonable balance here.
  5. This is the problem I have and suspected. Drop rates are low, but it's different. I have always theorized that drop rates are better at higher levels and the threshold seems to be around 55+ as the game rushes you into 50+. However the drop rates in the new low level quest areas seems to be decent (ruins of agony, abandoned camps, gorgon). Comparatively I have farmed just about everywhere up to 50 and it's not just low levels. The new abandoned camps will drop trident left and right now, but farm anywhere else like plains of dion and you get nothing. I have been agonizing about how to progress because the only players left are 70+ and the only thing being sold now are b grade and up. How is anyone suppose to start on a server when the cheapest items are b grade and will cost you 30mil+. You can't even find c grade anymore. This is sadly why the bot farmers in sea of spores and ivory crater is useful because this is the only place some spellbooks drop and that includes one of the most desired one, deathwhisper. They made changes to the class transfer spellbook, but this is hardly enough when every single player will make their own pp/se and this game is impossible to play unless you box 3-5 accounts MINIMUM because there are only a couple hundred active players and they are all 70+. These spellbooks are still essential and there aren't enough players and there aren't enough players in the level range to adequately farm spellbooks and anything else. You literally have left no option, but to bot or macro full parties to even progress past 50s. c grade crystals are more expensive then a,b. How ridiculous is that? What are you devs thinking? This game has a very definite progression path and it's player driven. When the only players left are 70s, how are you suppose to even play the game?????? Please JUJI and the devs. You need to consider the 40-50+ range as this level range already starts dropping valuable low/mid c grade stuff that is still useful and even required for progression in a reasonable matter. You leave no option, but to buy adena because drop rates are unreasonably low. I couldn't even farm a BRIGANDINE HELMET. One freaking D armor and it's still impossible!
  6. It's interesting to think that making the mobs aggressive again as they were would actually stop bots too. They can't bot difficult areas and by difficult it typically means adds/aggressive mobs. That's why you never see bots in zones like forest of mirrors or timak orc outpost. Ruins of Despair as opposed to Ruins of Agony is also empty because the mobs are aggressive there.
  7. They probably only need to ip ban a couple people too as one person can be botting 30-60+ accounts quite easily. It's definitely out of line when these botters pk to protect their turf and even worse for high level stuff that players actually need. I suggest you all start taking screenshots. Have some actual proof. Screenshot the red chars so people can clearly see the character name and location and report the specific pk character. It's the pk that starts to get frustrating over the bots and I imagine it's a little harder to maintain a dedicated pk character over making new bot characters. Submit a ticket over just making forum posts and maybe try to rally a community effort. I think it's only a handful of players. Even just one or two "bigshots" could make a big impact. These are the ones that are completely dedicated on adena farming and probably even rely on it as a living so they have something at stake. Point being it only takes one person to be a menace on ALL servers. For instance, there is someone with a character with "spy" in it like "AdenSpy". One for every server probably. This is most likely controlled by one guy and maybe some affiliates. Someone this dedicated to monitor and control the economy of every server is also most likely behind a significant amount of bots. Kind of like going for the kingpin rather than small time dealers. Bot names also have character. Some bots seemed to be named after tv shows and some are more generic like "name1,2,3". This also gives you an idea that these group of bots are run by different people, but identify by whom. Be specific. Take screenshots and gather clear evidence. Just imagine taking out one guy running 60 bots would do for a server.
  8. It's worse. I started getting harrassed. Literally stalking me wherever I go. Someone randomly harassed me by half-pking me for no reason. I have reason to believe the top clans and rank 1s are part of the bots and adena farmers. I read somewhere else that these sellers will bully new players so they need to pay up in order to farm at higher levels. Agony is hardly the only place. Pretty much every spot that is easily farmable has bots in them. Agony is just a little annoying because it is now a major quest hub and you need to farm there to level up. Bots in places like Sea of Spores didn't bother me that much, but this literal organized mafia type activity is something else. I don't think it's the bot programmers. It's the adena sellers who also seem to actively secure everything else like raids and even access to certain zones by pking you with dedicated pk characters. I hope NCSoft will take note when it comes to real bullying in game and not just bot farming adena. There is no "healthy" competition. People are doing seriously organized and dedicated operations to control every aspect of the game on a server. Rank 1 is not achievable by people honestly playing the game. This is far more then mere bot farming. Not really sure it's in the best interest of the company if potential new customers are literally being driven away by thugs in game.
  9. Is there an official explanation of what this message means exactly? I have been spoiling various low level mobs no problem so far until I tried Bloody Bee. This mob in particular would give this message every time I sweep it. It seems to happen on certain mobs, but I would like to know exactly what the error message is supposed to mean. It's not because of low level so what is it?
  10. Not much point in asking for reconsideration since it never ends. They just killed the entire soulshot market and probably caused a whole bunch of people to quit who were afking in giran. They changed class transfer spellbooks to give you a better chance of getting the one you need and thus altering and even killing the spellbook market. They removed the FREE newbie pack with weapons and now costs at least some ncoin. They already had a 15 day brooch, but they still havent implemented jewels anyways. There will likely be some event or otherwise once jewels become fully implemented.
  11. Where do you get them? Anyone seen anything yet? There are some in the luxury shop (Blinzlasher), but what about D and others? This version of classic is a weird hybrid so I don't know where to look.
  12. It's probably more about multiple connections from a single IP, but hey I don't box with 6 characters so I don't have this problem. Cry me a river really.
  13. Has anyone seen this at all? I got Aqua Cubic from the class transfer and I saw that you don't get this skill until lvl 85 and I thought maybe there aren't that many 80+ yet. I've never seen or heard about Clear Mind even though Sea of Spores is camped basically 24/7 and it drops from the fungus there. What's the situation on the lvl 40 spellbooks?
  14. Sea of Spores and Ketra Outpost was a favorite spot for botting amongst others when I played live. Telltale sign is actually going to town and watch them run to the gatekeeper over and over. That's your proof if anything and not them farming. It's them running in a straight line over and over to a gatekeeper or dying over and over in death valley. They have been doing this for ages on live so surely they know. When I was farming at Ketra on live awhile back though, I noticed those bots actually started to disappear when I moved into the area. It's like bot's own protection. By the way, loop macro is nowhere close to real bot software. There's a lot of problems and limitations in afk macroing. You can also pk bots. I am pretty sure there are bunch of people who intentionally pk botters, but then seem to leave you alone if you a real.
  15. Are these only available to one character per account? I leveled a second characer to 30 and didn't get the mission for the next mark.
  16. I am seeing a signiifcant difference in adena when farming on my rogue vs my wizard. I am literally getting twice as much adena farming on my rogue as my mage in the same zone when the xp seems to be the same. Something is going on and I would really like some clarification. The difference in adena rate when I play these two characters is so glaring that it is seriously affecting how I play this game.
  17. I screwed up and didn't realize you can't transfer those samurai sword from the store to another character on the same server. Being a new player it just occurred to me how much those weapons make a difference let alone understanding what NG and d grade even meant. How is this game meant to be played? Those store weapons are temporary, but last 30 days and are like c grade. It clearly makes a huge difference grinding up using that weapon to get you started. Does NCSoft always intend to provide those advanced, temporary weapon at all times? If not how are you supposed to play this game when they literally shove you into lvl 20 from the start? I managed to scrap up enough for a NG weapon. This after realizing something wrong grinding in abandoned camp using literally the first weapon you get when you make a new character. There was no other starter quest to give you a better weapon so I was grinding for awhile with that starter weapon. LOL. But now trying to even farm up a d grade weapon is a nightmare and still quite the struggle to get lvl40. So my question is what is intended for new players? On a side note, if anyone can offer a cheap d grade staff for a mage for a struggling new player it would be appreciated.
  18. Where do you get gems in classic? Pona sells "jewels" on live, but on classic it doesn't offer jewels or gems. You get a brooch from a quest in classic and I have yet to figure out where and how you get gems to put in.
