  1. Exactly. Either the total amount of possible points collected needs to be increased, or the number of points needed to equip/ upgrade should be lowered dramatically. As it stands, partially VE characters are still at a tremendous disadvantage against some mobs. Speaking as someone who just came from a 105 daily party where 5 of the members -- some of them level 110 --were in VE. We got wiped out in no time at all. I realize that VE is designed to be a temporary stop-gap, but considering it takes players several months to earn the trillions of adena necessary to buy all of the gear that they need to hunt mobs their level, it wouldn't hurt to expand the VE points and options.
  2. Never mind, I just reset all points and everything works now. Still odd.
  3. I picked up a virtual jewel using points a few days ago. I see the Greater Opal in my character's inventory, but it's not equipping. When I go to the Virtual menu, it shows that I selected the Greater jewel, but the slot is empty and my points are gone. If I select the jewel again, will I lose more points? Is this a known issue, or is something else amiss?
  4. As I type this, some idiot is trying to sell a +10 Elmore Cloak for 300,000,000,000. The fact that they did not significantly lower the actual cost AND increase the enchant odds to better than 50% at least to +10 all but ensures that there will be 20 more shops just like that idiot's trying to gouge everyone for an item that should be easier and cheaper to get. I'm sorry to the new and under-geared people. You're screwed. Better sell an organ on the black market, if you want to play this game.
  5. Usually when they give really great stuff away, it's old content that we should have received long ago.
  6. The funny part is they are calling this "The 18th Anniversary Night Market." Trust me, if you give a gift or event like this to your spouse or your staff on the 18th anniversary, you will not live to see your 19th anniversary.
  7. Yes, use Vanguard of Baylor, which gives "Frenzy" buffs. Also, don't forget that it costs much more in Spirit Ore for Domi to buff outside party with those Frenzy buffs. You can see how much it costs on the Vanguard of Baylor description. That's per buff round, so make sure you keep a ton of Spirit Ores in inventory, if you plan to go AFK-macro all day and night.
  8. You'd think they'd have R115 or R120 weapons by now. R99 should be moved to normal NPC shops. And the first Exalted Quest should give Blessed Exalted items as a reward. As usual, they are behind on everything, but trying to overcharge us like it's the greatest and newest best thing.
  9. They're like NFL coaches that got paid to lose, apparently. This sales promotion sucks...and they know it. Korea knows it. Everyone knows it.
  10. Every week before a promotion begins, I think to myself, "Maybe this time I spend real money on this game." Then the promotion is announced, I see new ways in which we are getting screwed, and I quickly put my credit card back in my wallet. The sad thing is that your sales data will never accurately reflect how much money you're not making because you keep doing crappy shit like this -- shooting yourselves in the ass by thinking that you're making asses out of everyone else.
  11. Wait, I thought merely the act of sharing an account was itself a bannable offense? No ifs, ands, or buts. Shouldn't that be the first line in your message? Not, "Well, if you do share your account and they do something illegal with your account, then...."
  12. Yes, I understand. Thanks.
  13. Ok, now the spammer is back under a new name. I'll submit a ticket.
  14. So far, still only getting Spring energy rolls and one more Superior Codex Mastery -- which I don't need. Next time, give us the chance to buy something useful -- like Crystals of Dawn -- with the Oriana coins.
  15. Even with all that, does the statistical probability in the new enchant dialogue window change when you go to enchant something? Or does it still say the same % chance of success, no matter what?
  16. Ok, but how does that help everyone? Most people are complaining about not being able to kill mobs their level now. Only a few people will be able to party with a high level that can basically power level them at that point. And more than likely those high level will just add their own alts in party, not other low level real players.
  17. Crafting has changed and I would NOT play this game for that aspect of the game. Why? Let the NPC tell us why. Blacksmith Pushkin of Giran: "Because of Shilen's curse, almost all the ingredients we used to combine together have corroded." Long story short, it's not really easy, necessary or as profitable to have a warsmith for crafting. Outside of a recipe here and there, like Mysterious Bl-SpS and SS, everyone can pretty much do their own crafting by clicking on the Craft icon. Armor, weapons, accessories, support items, etc., are just a click and decent luck away. Of course, this is L2, so the "Ha ha, gotcha, you muther****s!" moment entails a little golden ingredient called Ether. It's the prime ingredient in most crafts, and it's not easy to come by. It takes quite a bit of time to hunt and earn enough Ether to craft anything. We're talking weeks and months. For example, you need a little over 11,000 Ether to craft a Krishna weapon. You'd think that NCSoft would have made the crafting cost a little cheaper and the success rates much, much higher for dwarves -- I mean that is their expertise, after all -- but no, it costs the same amount of materials for all classes, irrespective of mastery or mythos. Taking it all in, life for dwarves always sucks, but now it really blows huge fat sweaty Brontosaurus balls to be a crafter in L2.
  18. I made almost 15B from this event selling the coins so far. No, it's not a great event. In fact, it's a terrible event. It should never be used again. But if you have 3-4 computers and an urge to have a high electric bill, it's...something.
  19. I've been getting spam emails in-game all week from the minute that I port into Aden. Seriously, people, would it be that hard for you always to have one GM or anonymous alt logged in on each server to ensure that crap like this is nipped in the bud right away?
  20. Thanks for the update. Glad that it was resolved for you. I think what we're seeing here is NCSoft is finally getting tired of a policy that should never have existed. They really should give better enchant rates for everything. Roll it back to what it used to be. Then get rid of the restoration token policy altogether. If it's not specifically a glitch with the game itself, nothing should be restored or replaced.
  21. I got one Superior Giants Codex the first day. Only Refreshing Watermelons after that. Best to sell the coins to other people. Odds of winning are low and odds of getting anything good from Oriana's Gift Box is close to 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%.
  22. If this policy is limited by IP address, not account, then yes, they should update the policy for everyone's information. Of course, limiting it by IP address won't affect everyone. Changing IP Addresses is a key selling point of many VPN services. So, yeah, only the poor people will be stymied, just like in every other aspect of their life.
  23. I think they nerfed PI during last update or so. I remember going there and getting far less scrolls than before the update. I haven't even bothered going during this update. Lots of things seem more difficult.
  24. I am getting way ahead of myself, I know, but does anyone know how it works on the Korean servers? I have a character with a lame Main class, but a fun Dual class. I've been playing the Dual class all this time. Does the new Stone of Destiny (SoD) let us change our main class only? You keep the same Dual. Or does SoD split the one character into two different characters, with all equipment, including bound items and WH, going on the Dual Class? Or does SoD turn our Dual Class into the Main, and the original Main then becomes the Dual, which you can change into whatever class you want using Red Libra merchant? I have other questions about race, but let's start there. Anyone know how the new SoD works?
