Seems like XP event always precedes Red Libra. Rarely during it, or right after it. They are probably working out bugs like the last time. Don't be surprised if they can't resolve everything in the packet to function exactly as it did in Korea or elsewhere.

I hope they extend the XP event; return the extra party bonus, since no one really was able to take advantage of it with the lag and rampant DCs; and bring back the full 6000 Day Packs (+ 1 Year), which were really popular. IIRC, the 6000 Day packs also included a 30 Day Vitality rune. That seems like fair compensation for dealing with years of lag.

Agreed, after the last restart I haven't experienced a single DC. So far, so good. Keeping fingers crossed.

I have Advanced Nymph, too, but haven't gotten it all the way to level 5 Enchant Circle yet. I hope these agathions aren't broken.

It feels like the "normal" melee lag to me where your character has a bit of a pause right before it attacks a mob. But that might have to do with the Auto Next Target macro. When I create a simple attack macro (e.g., "Next Target + Attack (no skills)" ) that I put in the hot bar, not the Auto Next Target, I don't have any delay. If you give us those temporary Dragon weapons, maybe I can get by with not using any skills at all on my Evi? Kidding. Sort of.

Why are there so many people selling Dragon Weapons now? Is it because they can't change them into something else, or somehow use them to trade up to next stage? I know it can't be because they are worthless. Or is it?

There is no XP loss on death, so go to Ketra and see. Isolate one of the mobs and see if you can get its HP bar to move one tiny bit before he kills you. Seriously, I went there with a +++++ limited weapon on a stacked, fully buffed 108 archer and it took me to a long time to kill just one of them. You will die in seconds on a 106 Duelist, even if you had a Stage 1 Dragon Weapon and +12 armor set.

The only "winners" are usually the people who spend $$$$$$$$$ during these events. Like always, they'll rave about that the times that they won something, but they will never tell you the thousands and thousands of dollars spent where they got the same crap that everyone else got. I call them fireflies, because their arses are always glowing when they think they've done something great, and they always want more credit for "keeping the lights on" than they deserve.

Bet they give you two gold balls and tell you to go have a nice day.

It's the delay that all classes have, but fighter types more obvious than others, when auto attacking. The game didn't always have it, but over the last several months/year, it's been around. The solution is to set up an auto macro, but tape down whichever function key you use for your fastest working attack skill. For example, on my Doombringer, if I use the auto macro for targeting, but hold down the function key that I assigned to Dash, he will proceed to attack multiple toons rapidly and successively with the only delay being in finding which target to kill. For other classes the "fix" is not so easy. And not all hunting conditions can be done using just one skill all of the time.

When I saw that God bottles were one of the possibilities, I knew to avoid that. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...

i would think that people would rather kill the demon swords than the raid boss. You have a better chance of getting 5B than the top prize from scoring most points in a 1 damage per hit raid.

You get three different times. Radar shows right now... Server Time: 17:20 Local Time: 12:20 But the command /Time gives you this response: The current time is 21:47. Clear as (bleep)ing mud, isn't it?

Not going to spend more than $20 this event. I only opened 8 boxes. Results? 3 Elcyums, 2 Star Signs, 2 Dye Crystals, 1 Gem Energy. In short, nothing I needed. I could have bought a pizza instead and been happier. No doubt someone who opens a (bleep)load of the boxes will probably get better results.

I'm betting everyone is understating how well equipped their characters are. Whenever I run through Ketra I don't see anyone in basic exalted only.

It will probably cost 952,254,568,522,325,511,858,815,225 celebration coins, twice as many ether, limited to one per account and be accidentally automatically removed in next week's update.

Varka and Ketra? Is that the place where only stacked characters level 114 and above can hunt in party?

Most of the stuff in your WH is probably too dated to use. Sell what you can to NPC. (Not much can be sold there, unfortunately.) If you started a new character you can do lowbie quests that give you more current Twilight equipment and an Apocalypse weapon for your class. It doesn't hurt to see if your old character is eligible to do the same quest. Go to Gludio and talk to Tarti. If she lets you do the quest, great. If not, you have to decide if you want to keep playing the old character. If you left the game with a billion adena on your character, just go buy the equipment you need. But if you didn't, you either have to hop on the treadmill of purchasing Ncoins to buy L2 Store items to sell to other players, or hope that you find a really good clan who will help you at least get R grade equipment. Adena drops are ridiculously low and NCSoft keeps finding ways to further nerf what few places there are that do drop half decent amounts. Equipment mats and full drops are nonexistent. There really is no point in spoiling, because crafting requires Ether, which is slow to acquire and untradeable, and it takes tons of it to craft anything. Don't mean to be the voice of doom and gloom, but 6 years ago was the Golden Era of L2. This is the Dark Age now. Winter has come.

Most will probably change to retrib during Red Libra, since it has more matk and patk and same crit as casters and busters. Now that you get sigil bonus with both, it's a no brainer.

Not sure if you can any more. The Aden Reconstruction NPC used to be the one that put the talismans on the hair accessories. Maybe they moved that feature to a different NPC, like fishing guild member or something???

The easy fix is to either make it impossible for a red to rez, not even self rez buff from item would work. The other thing they can do is reduce the range of rez skill to under 400. Also curious, I know the skill rarely lands in PVP, but did you try to Flash him, especially while he was near his ISS? That skill usually makes all enemies retreat. It's like Fear for archers. If it landed, it would make Red run too far away to be rezzed. It might also force the ISS to start running uncontrollably outside of safe zone if he's close enough. Then just have your alts Gravity Exile him until he logs off.

Thanks, Mixa. I guess what I'm asking is if you give an Exalted Yul a DW for one day, would it have more, less or the same total XP as an Exalted Feoh who had a DW for 3 days?

Don't usually expect anything nice with free events. If they did that no one would get their Visa for the paid events. My best reward was Orc pots and Vitality pots.

These work best for me, but I can think of many other scenarios that work. It really depends on how much damage your archer can do. 1. Hiero (POM & BR) + Iss Spectral Dancer (Crippling Dance stacks with POM & ISS Spectral gives you a second BR) + Yul (hopefully your Yul has old Taurus bracelet or agathion for a third BR) 2. Hiero (POM & BR) + Sigel Hell Knight/Shillen Templar (for Avenger/Templar Aura) + Yul 3. If you have a second PC or laptop, role a Dominator, if your clan has room. There will be times when you don't want to share XP. Having out of party buffer helps. It's expensive, though, because those buffs cost spirit stones. If you're not worried about profit or even breaking even, then go this route.

Can I add to this? Dominator Buffs Dominator -- because it's the Clan Master of Buffs -- should get EVERY buff, including all prophecies and heals, tank aura, dagger, archer and warrior class buffs, that every class has, only as one buff for each buff type. One Dominator buff that covers all prophecies. One Dominator buff that covers Melodies and Sonatas. One Dominator buff that combines heals and tank aegis. Instead of a tree and a circled wall of shields, you get a damn Forest of Protection. You get the idea. Expensive to learn in terms of SP/greater runes and higher MP cost than the actual class buff (the original class would be more "efficient" at buffing their version of it) and maybe 2%-3% less effective than original class that gives the buff. But being a Dominator should really mean something compared to other buffers. I bet it would also reduce the number of auto-bots running around, since people won't need two buffers for prophecies plus a healer in their macro parties. More crazy ideas later.
