I played in live years ago (3 years to be exactly) but not for much time (3-4 months), so I not count that. I know the L2 bot problem since that time, I used to see them in Fairy Settlement running around as a plague, and I used to play another game with bot issue (that was used to feed the black market as its happen here), so I know well how the economy of a game works with and without bots running wild.

1) Till 105 is relative easy 2) Beleth's Magic Circle, Desert Quarry. If you have some gear or join a pt, Phantasmal Ridge, Enchanted Valley 3)I'm a new player and I find it hard, but I'm focused in get level 105 before see the ways to make adena. I'm 103 too, and in the spot I use to macro (Desert Quarry), I don't make too much. I did 45kk in 48h in my three accounts with drop rate rune in both. That's my thoughts.

Unfortunally L2 isn't new player friendly, looks that NCSoft gived up to attract new players and focused in keep old players keeping playing by adding new items to make the character more and more stronger, this game isn't attractive. I'm a "new player" (only in live server, because I used to player...you know... in 2006) and I'm here just for nostalgic purpose, I just turn on my macro and go do other things. I could go on and on, but I have to go check if the macros didn't die before I go to play another game.

They disable character creation and activate only on Wednesday after maintenance. On Thursday, they disable again.

They use to do k95 and others things. I searched for the topic that someone posted a screenshot of lots of bots in k95 NPC but I didn't found. (Maybe some GM deleted? )

You forgot something, of course, not that important at all. Because of the expansion of the population and less food being produced, the price will elevate, of course, till a certain point, and here comes the bot problem. The bots don't produce the food (taking your exemple), it's true, but they generate the money (lot of then) that is used to buy food, and they """"give"""" it to the people that want the food. Now, we have more people that want the food, less food to supply the damand and more money and extra money to buy the food. The price that will grow will be more higher because of the extra money produced by the bots.

The problem is not the weap itself. You know why JP server have lots of DW and keep running? Because they can have the other items as well. Lindvior earring? Less than 1b. Level 5 jewels? 3~10b. Blessed Valakas? 2~2.5b. Dragon Claw? 6b. etc... DW is problem when you don't fix the game economy, like we have here with the insane amount of adena being injected because of the bot farms that make simple things cost a big amount of adena.

Whats the problem of 200 dragon weap? JP server have so many DW that they be stucked in the action house and no one complain about that. If everyone can get a DW is not a problem, the problem is when only few people can get. (that's what happen here) They market have more DW frags than normal weapons. https://i.imgur.com/niNF7Pe.png

Or about JP server, that you can buy stage1 dragon for 60bi? Or a lv 5 jewel for 6bi? Unfortunally the lag and lenguage is the big issue to play on there. Here is pay to be scammed, high prices because of the bots injecting lots of adena in the game, no place to grind at low level areas because of the amount of boxes...

It's funny to see people saying that killing low gear afk players is PvP. What a shame. hahahhaa

What does this have to do with the lack of punishment for pks?

This game is balanced based in the top players, every big update is more and more difficult to low gear players do stuffs. It's sad.

Well, i returned to game after 3 years (even so, I never played for a long time at that time). I'm fully exalted gear (doing the fourth mission now) level 103, I'm grinding at DH, but I don't kill fast enough (even with the free giant ruby), which makes me use another DD for this (summoner) and I end up getting less exp because I also have my Iss at the party. Looking at the accounts I have, in one of them I found many items that I remember that I got in an event with carrots. I already sold a good part and I got 3.4 billion. Where you grinding? The r90 items is fine to use till finnish the first exalted quest.

Maybe is because you need cast other skill before use that red one or the skills need something to cast, like spirit ore, soul stone...

to solve temporary the botters problem is just add a simple captcha in some specifics NPCs and in the teleport, and to solve over population, disable mentee sistem. But looks like they don't really care, just acting like they're doing things to solve.

Outside that the new mentee system has more benefits to mentor than mentee, when I think that is should be to help more new players than old players.

Its happen because the game don't have a punish to PKs, so, you can do what you want against newbie players without concequences.
