  1. Unfortunately, this seems to be true. Just look at what happened to the poll they made: players voted, expressed their opinions, tried to contribute to making the server playable, and the thread was closed and moved to Archive without a minimum reaction or the shortest answer. No one asked for free Dragon weapons or something like that, just minor adjustments, and they were all disregarded without any reaction. One is left to wonder, what was, really, the purpose of that poll? In my opinion, we deserve an answer after taking the poll and presenting our thoughts on the update, both things at the initiative and request of the gm's, but i already know it won't happen so i don't expect anything anymore. This lack of expectation may very well be the reason for the low activity. I mean, i had no problem finding a free spot in Tanor or Alligator, any time i was looking for one. Never happened before, especially during an exp event.
  2. I think this time something has to. If not from one part (devs), then from the other (players). Everyone has a breaking point, and i think this time the line has been crossed for a large majority of players, both f2p and p2p. Maybe not by the change itself, but by the direction it is outlining. L2 players seem to be ok with hard gains, but people are usually happy when they see progress coming out of their work, as small at it may be. But when you come after a year of hard work and very small progress and take it away with an update that doesn't even include that information, the predictability of progress is gone. Even worse, one can expect from now on to periodically lose all the investment made (time, money or both), maybe with a regular maintenance, since this things come unannounced anyway. And that takes away the joy (hint to the topic of the poll) of logging in and playing. And i also think gm's have seen it too, hence this poll. And i hope they see it, because other wise the change will come from the other part, the players. Not a change to the game, because that is not possible, but a change in the game they chose to invest into (time, money or both).

That is simply false: Farming Adena on IOS 1/Neutral zone now is impossible for ”lower geared toons” precisely because of the old players that you point out to be part of, who have taken over all this farming places designed for lower toons. So as an old player you should know that very well, or, if you don't, you should not bring it up. I do agree that what you claim to be good adena farming applies to old players, so this may very well be the reason you speak so highly of this changes. On the contrary, live is a lot harder for the ”lower geared toons” you speak of, because all the mobs hit a lot harder (not just the ones in timed zones that were announced), so, in addition to not having access to the new / improved areas, they had to go down even more on farming zones. You want pvp? Allow ”lower geared toons” to evolve, so that they can enjoy pvp too. Or do you want to keep this 1 shot pvps on ”lower geared toons” in order to feel strong? Of course no one accepts wars if they stand absolutely no chance in the said war. But how can they progress of you, the ”old players”, constantly take over the zones designed for them? I think your message is ”this is a good update for old and geared up players, so i like it”. And it`s ok, everyone should get a vote based on his/her own experience, but please, don't make this look like a good update for ”lower geared toons”. It's not, it's horrible for them, and it greatly discourages new players too.
  4. Depressing in deed... Makes me think of an awful working place. The kind of job where you go in, do the hard work, put in as many extra hours as possible, spend your own money to improve your skills for that job, and yet, you salary constantly decreases over time. In real life, how many would put up with this? And for how long?
  5. How could anyone enjoy seeing his char getting weaker in half a day? Like i said, in any game, just like any other activity, you would expect to get better as you invest in it. We spend time and money to progress, and then un ”update” comes that downgrades our chars back a few months and negates all the money spent on it. What can keep us motivated to continue playing if this update comes and we realize we just lost a few months and some money with absolutely no gain? We could pick up and try to move forward, but forward to what, more ”updates” like this one that pushes our chars back to close to when we started playing, after years of play and the money we spent? Leaving aside the fact that no changes to field mobs were announced, what made you think this server needed a slow down? The levels of the players that are far below than all the other regions? The items that have seen little to no progress in the last few months? The constant lowering level of activity and new players? About the new region, all good, except the fact that the way it was introduced excludes exactly the players it was designed for. People have written enough on this subject, it's 1-2 topics below. Taking interest into the matter is a nice step forward, but i think a badly needed one, because, not necessarily this change on its own, but the direction it's showing makes a lot of people really reconsider investing anything into this game, either time or money. We are left with a feeling of uncertainty, not knowing if our work will be erased in 1 month or 2, but definitely expecting it to be erased. Doesn't seem to be worth it anymore...
  6. Where in those patch notes does it say anything about "adjusting" field mobs? It does say some "adjustments" are being done to mobs in timed zone, but by now we understand the message... It is not normal. In any game, just like any other activity, you would expect to get better as you invest in that, you spend time and money, otherwise why would keep doing that? Spend time and money, i mean...
  7. Mobs boosted again, and not only in timed zones, but open field too (checked Alligator Island and Silent Valley - used to farm without hp going below 75%, now died after half of hour). At least the boost of the mobs in timed zones was announced... Really, what is the point in playing this game anymore, since you spend time and money to gain levels and items only to see your char outclassed by mobs you used to farm months ago, after a simple „maintenance”? What are we supposed to do more than gain levels and items? Even paid for?

You are wrong, it was changed without announcement after the maintenance, even the description remained with lvl. 10 on the official site: https://www.lineage2.com/news/17th-anniversary-store-update. I don't have any screenshot, but it was the same in game. Why would you post wrong information on the forum without any verification at all?
  10. Any info on this? I think we deserve an answer, whatever answer (yes, no, soon, next year, never). Doesn't even need to be that accurate. Just as a sign that you care enough about your players to write a few words about an issue that would have a great impact on their characters - an update they see implemented an all other regions, which gives them a legitimate expectation that it would come to their servers eventually.

  12. Maybe someone can help me make sense of these 2 options? 1. This would just make more people use oog automatization, which we all know nothing is done against, which would only slow down the server. Most of the other people would just stop playing, because that's the only way to grind right now. That helps in which way? 2. People complain because of the slow hunting due to the lag, so they remove the lag by slowing down the hunting speed (targeting) on a normal running server. The result? A server without lag but roughly with the same killing speed. Is the complaint resolved? I would say no.

I love how easily you call people dumb while you fail to follow a simple logic trail yourself: i referred to a post made by Gizzer who replied to Degus, your post was not involved at all (i thought it was clear, maybe i should have quoted Gizzer's post, maybe i'm giving people to much credit). I actually never thought about your post. But now, that you had to intervene, i hope you see how your topic provides support to „people who want buffs” as you say: you are so worried that you would miss out on a possible free thing that would cost you less then 100 kk adena in game (oop domi buffs, never did the math), while failing to address all the huge problems of the server the last 2 weeks brought up again... Now it's all ok, someone thought out a way that everyone would receive GM buffs, so that is the perfect and only solution that makes all the other problems of the server go away... (/irony off, I hope I don't get misinterpreted again).

This shows exactly the level of the community and why GM's know it will always be possible to get by with practically anything: 2 out of the 3 weeks of the xp event are lost (only period that actually allows leveling in game), events are one joke after another, the server is way behind all other lineage 2 servers in the WORLD with updates (even Russian server) and implemented things, melee lag is here for over 1 year, and all people are asking for is buffs... Players demand buffs... Well, that's probably exactly what they will get, one hour of buffs (because it's not like they can get something like that in game) then we can all go back to our lagging, ancient version of the game and be happy with it...
  15. So basically, we get an XP event which doubles the xp we get from mobs (100% bonus) and then we get melee lag so that we hit at half speed... It seems to me like a false event after all, the 2 things practically cancel each other. Well, at least the server Staff is committed, they listen to the players and answer promptly to all the problems that are being raised about their server (there is at least one GM answer in every post that shows the huge problems of the server, because that's how bugs are being found in every mmo and not tested before implementing or something like that), so we can all rest assured that the thing that makes all melee classes unplayable is being thoroughly investigated and will be solved in no time... (/irony off) Seriously now, we don't expect wonders, we know things are being handled in Korea and there's not much that can be done locally, but please, a short answer is the minimum sign of respect you can show to your player base, that IS your job, if nothing else.
  16. I posted this in the Bug Section first, but i got no reply and very few views, so i thought i'd give it a try in General also. Maybe it's not a bug after all, and they just forgot to inform us, but any info is good. After the Wild Horizons update, the effects of Victories of Pa'agrio and Chant of Bison were changed: in stead of 15% increase in P. atk/P. skill /M. skill crit. dmg. they now buff 15% P. skill/M. skill power increase. These changes were not in the patch notes, and i couldn't find any info about the new effects. Is this an intended, even though unannounced, change? Will it be permanent? Or was it a mistake and it will be reverted to original effects?

  18. Same here, after the unscheduled maintenance the game is unplayable, the auto hunting system is useless and fishing is not possible any more.
