  1. @Hermes Do you guys realize that this maintenance time overlaps with: NAIA - Cursed Swords NAIA - Field Raids Dethrone With the latest lineage update in game events like Cursed swords was change to twice a week, now NC wants to do maintenance over this event and we will be down to 1 day a week for swords?? this makes NO sense??
  2. Its not a mage damage issue Its lack of affordable or items in game that give you damage. Nukers with gear do lots of damage.
  3. rough math thou, the fire reward only gives 0.005% per source of fire the identical item you get that does go in your inventory, when you click on gives much more so doesn't make sense still

  6. Since players are world wide you cannot solve dt time for everyone unless it becomes 3x a day. One dt is already at 4am my time and 4pm. Im sleeping or working. Best you can do is find a solution for you that works, no matter what some time zone will get screwed. Server events, only way to solve that is create a 3rd server and offset event / server times by 8hr for each server so players can find ideal server for their life
  7. Everyone is just used to old instances, damage and done. Freya is killable, but requires actual strategy and not just damage. We have killed it.

  9. You forgot the seer update ruining oly, the damage avoidance added to they could stay in hide perma already is broken. And completely ruins oly for all classes but a yul who can flare them out. F-- Seers wouldn't be bad if ncsoft upheld their eula and addressed those violating it using inappropriate software. I spectated many seer matches this month and its absolutely occurring. Watching a seer in hide vs an opponent in hide, the seer casting despa/cat eye purple shirt whenever they are near each other . Its just so obvious who's doing it. No way that's "luck" every match unless they know.where their opponent is in hide
  10. Only 100 boxes here, but only bottom rewards. I do appreciate the forgottens, but we all need g.rune. sounds like nc put the decimal in the wrong place again by "accident". After hearing this I will be investing $0 more
  11. Aren't there EU l2 servers already? These are na servers, maybe the correct request is to bring back a 3rd server in eu time. So it suits 3 distinct regions. I am friends with a lot of na players, changing time would cause them to quit. Changing a servers time is not the right solution
  12. @Hermes Many people in the community are talking, can you confirm if the MASSIVE reduction in Historical Tomes dropping in dethrone is intentional? In 2 hours we now average 2-4 tomes vs 300 solo. With this reduction it will take an impossible amount of time to level the Historical Tome. We hope this is an oversight or bug. Please update the community.
  13. bluff lands 1% of time now shadow chase stuns 1% of time in pvp does nothing too many resistances in game, only stun now really is shillen which is avoidable now too
  14. you aren't listening that new skill does nothing for players we cannot 1 shot, which is most of them now that all the defensive items are in game. they simply despa and we die, we cannot go in hide again, because cooldown is waaay too long, we evade nothing anymore (except wind rider). Please play the character in pvp / mass pvp and you will be able to more accurately speak to their ability's. Since the sale of them was removed, the game content has evolved. With that unfair advantages now exist to obtain that game content, 99% of the server does not have them. The only logic in your comments is likely due to you playing one of the other classes i mentioned, and not wanting a balanced gameplay environment. So there is no point in trying to speak with you.
  15. daggers have similar crit cap, except on our crit fail we do 0 dmg, jump on any clas and fail 4 stabs / crit fall = 0 dmg = you die, so we have same issue i've covered in previous posts.
  16. not what im asking, as i stated at the top of this article is for mass pvp/1v1 pvp. There are constraints in place today in oly. Your comments are not valid in most cases, you must not regularly play a othell. 99% aoe damage reduction seems quite a buff, meaning, you can wait for a tyr to sonic star, then stab him. i have tested this, against a very similar geared tyrr many times, for simplicty, a tyrr can alternate eruption/sonic star nearly constantly, a tyrr even against an equally geared dagger still takes 1-5 stabs to kill, if you shillen by the time a dagger jumps and stabs the tyrr has the defense to despa/giant barrier and do one more eruption and your dead.. i tested exhaustively, dagger evasion.. it's no where close to 80% vs tyrr, either eruption/sonic star hits me 15/20 times with evasion skills up. Game mechanic failure. Throughout the years, class updates have changed how each class does in pve and pvp, daggers have been dominant for a better part of a decade, actually from Beta till 2017 when most of the p skill crit damage equipment started to appear and the rest of the classes started to catch up. First name a player that today takes a dagger other than me to a castle seige, they are not dominant in any way. The issue isn't damage output, it's defense/evasion with the other classes putting out massive damage and aoe damage, they can no go full defense and in pvp put out 100x the damage i do, our base p.def is so insanely low it's made othell unviable in pvp, go play one now in mass pvp and prove me wrong when comparing to other classes. @fademist You didn't read what i wrote, please re-read again your just trolling, move along
  17. that is only when your in hide, the way it reads it goes away once your out of hide so it's pointless for anyone but seers in oly. Example: I'm in hide, they stealth detect, flare, cast aoe to pop me out of hide, i'm 1 shot dead, with any next target/skill. that skill update is pointless with other things in game.
  18. I have read the update notes, and still feel these complaints are more valid than ever. Imbalances that completely ruin othell class for pvp/mass pvp: (These statements assume equivalent gear between an othell and another player(s)) (These statements are not referring to the Olympiad where many of these limits/things are in place) - Legacy Agathon, these legacy items that are now completely unobtainable give unfair advantages to all players in the games current content state. Such as but not limited to Rock, Dash, Bountiful resurrection etc. Please remove these items or significantly increase the cooldown timers on these so they cannot be abused against players that are unable to obtain them now. - Stealth Detector (Clan Store item) and others classes Flare completely nullify an othell's one specific class ability to be in hide it's is the only advantage our class has to compete in any type of pvp. Players abuse this by putting many stealth detectors on boxes across the field and spam their use. Suggestion Remove Stealth Detector from store, and significantly increase cooldown of flare skills on other classes to at least give our class a chance to pvp. - Hide Cooldown timers are too long. With the above mentioned items, and an othell's lack of p.def / evasion overall. Not allowing an othell a method of escape as all other classes have (dash, guts, ud, seer insta hide, mana barrier, giant barrier, etc.) completely imbalances our classes ability to evade any pvp situation overall. - Evasion cooldown time is excessive (when compared to other classes skills being able to be up nearly 100% of the time, Steel mind, yul (evasion+dash+flash+blueshirt+despa+hide), guts, etc), and evasion Success % is too low when compared to other classes and their specific skills, especially in mass pvp. All other classes with aoe simply despa/blue shirt, stand on spot aoe with sonic star, eruption, phoenix arrow, etc until our short lived evasion skills wear off, and dash to us to kill us. Othell's have no counter to this, and it's completely unbalanced. Suggestions, either lower the cooldown timer on hide or evasion or increase the % success of evading attacks, or give us a non target specific dash skill. Additionally othell does do significant damage but the massive damage reductions other classes have and time they are immune to our damage are no where close to balanced. - Many skills of ours that would assist us in pvp NEVER land, paralyze, Flash, Flare Bluff, Counter Flip, etc. Fixing these skills would allow for a more balanced pvp experience. Summary: - Overall if NCsoft has no desire to fix the Othell to be a viable pvp class and update their skills to be competitive with all other classes, i hope they implement the ability for us to exchange dragon weapons for another type and change class. -NCsoft has given all other classes Damage now and survivability, while ignoring othell. -- Tanks get lots of damage and minutes of ud/damage avoidance -- Tyrr have more damage now and long periods of skills to avoid or negate damage. -- Mage have massive skills to negate damage (mana barrier) while they aoe and regain mana. -- Yul They now have dash nearly perma + ranged damaged increases to keep them away from damage. -- Healers get a new barrier to absorb damage -- ISS gets more defensive skills -- Othell gets a damage skill is all.. All content updates increase mob difficulty and attack damage, we as othell gain no defense/evasion to continue in this enviornment.

    End Game Dagger

    I agree mostly with @Marcelus @Hyperlite Weapon, dual daggers all the way. In 1v1 pvp is 50/50 i'm undecided on this. But honestly dagger is useless in mass PVP. Every class but us has a strong aoe/flare/dash/flash etc countering all your skills, and with end game gear on others, you miss 50% of your stabs. You just die unless someone is riding the fringe of a group you can pick off and bsoe, still pointless they just get a insta rez from bot. Even with upcoming updates, unless they fix our cooldown on hide and evasion, to match other classes skills for getting us out of hide and us evading attacks since we have 0 def, the update will make little to no difference. However in PVE dagger is great for solo xp, FS is top there. If you wish to get massive xp in PVE, DK or Tyrr is the way to go.
