A thread like this keeps popping up and its for the same issue. And in all this time we still get the same response...NO CHANGE. The fact that they sometimes use a queue lets us know that they are quite aware of the problem and feel that a queue is the best fix. Can someone tell them that thats a waste of time. It changes nothing. If you have enough people in that requires a queue it in no way changes the hit lagg, so you may as well let them in. I get maybe 1 good day a week of good semi no hit lagg and i'm guessing its because people are at work and unable to get the bot machine running until they get home. Now today i get another of the many problems. Can't log in my main for more than 10secs. On the one day that i can farm the best...i can't stay logged in. ATAB

I know that people like some of these events, but for me the events that give things out for free these are the worse for melee toons. (You can add EXP events to this rant also). All around the event managers you see soo many characters whose soul purpose is to click the event ticket and just take up space. Wellll the more characters on and the melee lag begins. Now i know there are those who will say "i don't have any lag, it must be you", well yeah its me. But for some reason it wasn't me before all these toons logged in..Imagine that :). In some far off distant future this melee lagg issue will be fixed and become a thing of the pass. Guessing that will probably be when i'm sitting next to Jesus in that gaming room that he built just for me. Nahh, if i'm playing L2 it'll still have lagg up there im sure. (Assuming i make it up there)

Ummm, you're probably not to far from the truth. Clan/Ally peeps that logged in fast and got a Greedy Chest, 5 of them, all got lvl5 emeralds. I don't think thats suppose to happen. Somebody didn't turn something down to its "give them random BS" lvl. Not sure if they'll still be there when we get back. But we shall see.

Yes Bethra they are still missing the point. They are focused on what they feel is lies or something. and not getting the point of what it "cost" to try to keep up in this game. And even after spending 8k in a short amount of time he's still a 1 shot. It doesn't matter if he didn't "QUOTE" What I would do: 1 grand on artifact event 1 grand on cloak event 3 grand on la vie 1 grand on agathion 1 grand wep/armor 1 grand vitality/xp What matters is the amount he spent and the fact that he had to spend it and still needed to do more. FreeToPay is obviously a thing now, and he's FreeToSay the reasons why he's choosing to move on. Don't get why anyone would think he's lieing about something like this. But, i also don't really get why i continue to play. Must be the joy of the people that i hang with i'm guessing.

Yes they still exist and i've had them message me on one of my other toons claiming to be "GaneaIf". Looks the same in game as "Ganealf". But ones with a capital "i" and the other is with a lower case "L". Told him that I often talk to myself but i've never actually done it without being aware. I must really be going crazy after all. He didn't pm me back.

Guessing you don't actually play the game then. Can't have lagg or DC if you're playing WoW. The rest of us get lagg and DC.

Dwarfs in General have been low man on the totem pole for almost the entire time of this games existence. Now for the moment they are actually able to do dmg. How many times over the years, if you've played for any length of time, have dwarfs been basically left out of parties? Had to do everything on their own. Now they can stand on their own and help parties... Only thing this game needs to do now is bring back the "spoil" and make it only dwarf related. And while you're talking about how good they got it in comparison to you, ask a Summoner how they feel.

Check the video, he's talking about hitting other players in PvP for 10k after spending 8k dollars , not mobs. He's quitting because what it would take to hit PvPers for 1m is going to cost him wayyy more than he's willing to spend and a dedication that he's decided isn't worth it. Thats the thing about this game, if you come into it wanting to be top in PvP you can kick that "free to play" concept out the window. I'm a PvE person that does PvP in castle sieges and only randomly when my clan is warred for whatever reason. I've, over the time that i've played this game, spent a sizable amount. Been here 17yrs and i'm sure if i ever looked into it i'd cry at the amount i've spent...so i never will lol. But, that being said i'm a total one shot even on a lvl114 evis with gear that 3yrs ago would have made me a God. Today it doesn't even remotely compare. You go from Lindivors to God jewels, lv4 emerald to Greater emeralds, lvl10 cloak to lvl18 cloak etc etc. To start this game and stay in this game DO NOT decide right off the bat that you're going to be a PvP God unless you have unlimited funds. Dont think that when people tell you that they got to were they are by playing the "market" that they are in anyway telling you the truth. You have to "Pay the cost, to be the boss" in this game. Now a few have...did questionable things to aquire a large amount of wealth, but believe me when i say that those peeps are very very few. Listen to what i say "YOU HAVE TO PAY THE COST TO BE THE BOSS". "This Guy" is choosing to get the hell out of this game before it cost him more in RL than any game should. But he has no one to blame, and he pretty much admits it, except himself. If you choose PvP thats all well and good, just know that if you want to be up there with the big kids...open up your wallet.

I see Land of Chaos listed in the area with the lvl109+ areas as if its being changed, but i don't see Raiders Crossroads. Is this a change or a mistype?

Out of all the post that have been made in the last couple of weeks about melee lagg the only one i see a response to is about someone getting banned and for that person to seek help from support... Did you just pass up all the rest of the post as unimportant? Did you not see the rest of the post? What does one have to do to get some kind of response to an ongoing issue? That issue being melee lagg. Tell us something. Or do like the New Dr. Fauci. If you don't have an answer, just say " i don't have an answer".

If this game had this type of Melee hit lagg "literally" for years no one would be playing this game today. Understand that when we say melee hit lagg we're not talking about a slight loss of attack speed. We're talking about hit lagg that effects how you can even play the game at all. The game has at times had bad lagg were people just didn't play until they fixed it. This melee hit lagg is getting to that point . I'm guessing this doesn't affect you, but for the rest of us its a pretty big deal, and it hasn't been going on "literally" for years.

Well here's what the maintenance didn't fix.. Melee hit lagg. So not sure at all what it was meant to fix.

Last week melee lagg dropped off because the exp event ended. It wasn't the best but it was damn good. Enough atk. spd on evis to solo ToI, and do the complete lvl120 solo. Then this week hit, and after wednesday, or late wednesday after maintenance melee lagg kicked back in. WTH? The event is over. This current event you would think isn't enough to bring out all the bots and such. But something happen and i'm not sure what it was. Does anyone know exactly whats going on? Did i miss something? Got a lvl114 evis that seems to be playing in slow motion. Maybe a fix after next maintenance. Or maybe its just me...

The cameras are setup all over the spots were the Greedy chest may spawn. My assumption is that its a purely programmed "camera" with audible alerts when a greedy chest spawns. If that were not the case then those who have them up would have to watch a large number of screens all day long with a target macro running. This we all know is a lie. Its purely programmed. Now the Ghost Dwarfs are even worse. Every 5mins a dead toon appears, i'm guessing it scans the area, then logs back out. If this isnt a program then there's no such thing. What i'm wondering is what NCSoft plans to do about this, or if they plan to do nothing at all. Those of us who actually run our toons thru an area occasionally are obviously at a great disadvantage to those that chose to, how do you say, not play by the rules. This isn't new and i'll accept the obvious trolls that may respond to this topic. But someday NCSoft may decide to "get in the game". Ok, this is not new. All melee classes expected this for this event and any event that gives good exp. For some reason people choose these events to log in every character they can and make as many more as possible. This seems to affect only the melee classes and NcSoft has been unable to fix this issue. So, Archers and Nukers lvl like crazy, and melee toons only lvl fast if they're in a party with a good archer or nuker. Mentally i whine about it everyday that i log in and thats were it stops. They, NCSoft, have no plans to fix this, so all you can do is wait for the event to be over and done with. Nothing like 1500 atk.spd. that actually does 600 atk.spd. When i do Baylor i feel like i'm in exalted gear.

This could easily have been an incredible spending Black Friday event...if the server had some form of vitality event with it. But everything in this event says "you need vit and exp bonus to make it worth it", and you gave neither. Only thing i see worth buying is the pack with valiant scrolls in it, because i use them during seige. Other than that, i give this Black Friday event an "F".

I feel they have decided to just...let it ride. So those of us that are melee and this is killing our exp. Suck it up.

Yeah this is back to being just down right horrible. Killing so slowly its just pathetic. If you're melee you loose so much exp because of this hit lagg. I have no idea how you all break things so badly, and fix them so slowly.

How did you go from a perfectly good 2 weeks to this? I have no idea what you did on Wednesday, but you really need to undo it. This is just horrible.

Ok, right now its really really really bad. I'm killing so slowly due to hit lag using my pots is kind of a waste right now. Guess i'll save some for the reset that i hope is soon to come. Its goes something like this. hithit....hithit....pickup....hithit....hithit... When you completely self buff yourself before your Cocktails kick in you know something is wrong.

Currently this is happening to all, and guessing you can lie the blame at the door of all these toons trying to lvl during this event. So, we pretty much just have to deal with it, because i'm pretty sure they have no plans to try to fix it anytime soon.

When GoD came I had a Doomcryer, OL, SwS, BD on different accounts. But they were making all of them into the same ISS(with many changes later that I had no clue about). So, when I awaken I made one of the many possible iss's into a Summoner. They seemed to have the potential to be a good DD, and they were. But, everybody said they were to powerful, to many summons , did to much dmg. So the fix was suppose to be, just have 2 summons but with close to the same dmg. Oh they really really &^#*&@ that up. And they haven't been the same since. Yeah they are used by those types that we can't mention, but my toon is 16yrs old, and I can never go back to the OL that it once was, or the summoner that it could have been. So nope, no deleting of my oldest toon, and I'll keep hope alive.
