A new update will come with new pets (homonculus). Some of they are similar to old pets in appearance, but the whole system will be revamped. I don't know if these changes will come to NCWest, but most likely they will late this year

But now with Elcyum prices inflated, might be cheaper with Option 1. On both options, you loose -2 enchant on your weapon with the upgrade (for example if you have a +12 Bloody R99 weapon it will convert to a +10 Bloody R110 weapon. No. There is no option to change your main class to a different class. Using Chaos Essence it's possible to change your main clan for example from Yul Sagittarius to another Yul (for example Ghost Sentinel). But to a completely different class, at the moment no.
