heres my take on all this ,alot of it is already said.. .so that should indicate the areas u need to address and not ignore
lets start with free events .... this what made l2 fun back in the day, where GM's would login to server give buffs and run actual events that all randoms had a chance to obtain .. that dont happen any more ( no team events/pvp event/ 3v3 / l2 knowledge /gm raids ... absolutely nothing its all creditcard obtained only
average server level im going to take a stab here (all players levels added up divided by server population) is what 111? we get 3 times a year what we call an XP event ( either perma vit or server boost) rarely both and its level stricted to 110 or under , so if average level is 111 we get F all. those 111+ cant go deththrone unless in a full stacked party or leech off stacked party areas and will still die if they have to afk it due to 4am entry times why hasnt the perma vit level restriction been increase to reflect server player base average , people want to level up their main or dual not make server bots or mentee coins batterys
why is DT / oly/ COC/ SOS at fixed time entrys? what cant they be accessed any time and be time limited just like instance zones that port u out once ur time limit expires / entry acess limits reach max? you sure want to take international real money but limit everything to a server specific time zone (time to keep up with ever changing world)
enchant rates / compound rates thery dont seem right either you know how percentages work how come they dont marry up with the % u list in enchant/compound UI and why luc items added dont seem to effect the multipler bonus correctly ( some GM testing like in old days showing results would be appriciated by all) eg 10 compounds with 50% shouldnt result in 1 succeeding and 9 failing ,if u dont want the success rate that high ,lower it but be honest with % rate so it truelly reflects that %
whats happened to factions allow players in clans to get a boost if they do 20 clan quests after 1 day or 3 eg till next maintainance rune that give 150 ele to att/def to mitigate /offset npc damage or add new clan quests to gets these boosts some how ( i posted bout factions b4 just ignored like 50% post ..thats ncwest 50% too so relistically 99% )
hero coin rewards ok alot will say they dont care and that it dont effect them but like hy per said its a premium reward for loyalty of spending money on server and the rewards in store dont reflect current player levels , one thing id like to see changed to reduce RMT since eula isnt enforced on this subject gifting should not give hero coin to reciever only the original purchaser that way only gamecards and creditcards purchases only get hero coins not adena farmers '( yes i know this wont sit right with top 10% ers of server )but rules are rules..
new update was overall good alot got increase skill levels more runestones costs (less runestone drops) however with increased skill powers damage seemed to be reduced , i noticed on sonic star i increase skill level and skill cooldown increased 4 secs ( so worse off in my opinion) CD vs skill power was more a nerf than a gain
really happy with the keep previous aug skill unless u accepted it
alot top player have GOD jewels why cant they recieve augs yet ? every other jewel does .
need more ways to get codexes for skill enchanting currently 3 ways messiah quest (1 off) /oly / event, and event not happen often
rates of obtaining aden chest and then the rates of obtaining items within aden chest ( gamble within a gamble) u already nerf adena drops /item drops from npc supposedly to reduce botting.. .then it was for server inflation but how does one upgrade out of exalted if all the miserable adena they make is used on shots to kill the mob? u want this server to boom again then look at the problems u created ... do u think a 3 year old toon wants to be stuck at 110 for next 3 years theyll quit games are played for fun and relaxation
and when u do events that give reward out like curent lucky coin event , for transparrancy name all winners regardless on limits (eg only 115 kamaloka event named winner,105/110 arent) so people see if same toons winning or their boxes or infact there was a winner within that hour at all etc )
i spend reasonable amount on ncoin if event appeals to me and i think i have a fair chance to make something but do i have faith in this gamecompany and would i recommend them to a friend? i leave that to ur imagination , i like most are stuck here cos i like the game style even if its 18 years outdated and ive invested alot... over a long period of gametime ,u have to ask yourselves this why are new players and toons under 3 years here still staying or willing to stay if everything is a paywall for them. easier for them to get out before they are invested
