Live Server Maintenance: May 30, 2023

Yesterday the loot server was very lagging. They long run scripts to retrieve loot from box was taking like 30, 60 seconds to respond.

This kind of event insensitive people log tons of toons and tons of click.

Everything is overloaded with the same small user base.

Time to staff look at diferent reports and start to thinking out of the box.

i know we get scammed..but medicine kain ?at least some compensation..for those.

Thank you for pointing it out.

For Lv.5=>Lv.6, Shiny Gem Energy originally has 10% compound rate while normal Gem Energy has 15%.

The event increases all compound rates by 5%, so it has been increased to 15% for Shiny Gem Energy and 20% for normal Gem Energy.

The table in the announcement is based on normal Gem Energy, which seems to have confused you.

i dont know if people want to a summari to our comments if you dont give us something in return for your grain medicine. like all know..we get scammed with promotion..but at least remove medicine from boxes. if i buy boxes and weapon, at least i get a freya....is better than a medicine that you cant use it anymore. 

270 grain kain miraculous medicine from 300 boxes do you think is fair ?at least 270 freya rose was better then medicine. what do you think ?

make an npc so we can change them at least.

They are professionals doing they jobs. People behind a nick "GM" trying to hear us, to understanding us.

L2 team has recently changeda and  they mission is to "fix L2".
They are listening to us, reading forums and creating an resume of our requests.

After that they need to talk internaly, get some aproves internaly and make a plan of changes.

It`s not simple like one people goes to an admin panel and change all rates, drops, etc.

We are talking about a company and not an home made server.

The current shiny boxes 100 for 3200 nccoin= approximately $40 +tax USD. Several of my friends have opened $200-$250 worth of these and they got 3 jewelry tickets from that many boxes and too many buff pots and unusable medicine.  Please test these boxes yourself and then go compare that we need 15-20 tickets to even craft a greater jewel 5. To spend over $1200 to get enough tickets to even get a jewel is absolutely ridiculous! it would make much more business sense if we get about 8-10 tickets out of 100 boxes and not get scammed and cheated to open mostly buff pots.  It would make much more sense to have more things like god bottles, dye crystals, splendor, star signs, forgotten books to drop more often as we can actually use to progress our gear. you cant even farm most of these items from regular mobs! Because many of us hear these kinds of rates we would not even want to spend any money. We want value for our money, not buff pots! I bought 10 shiny boxes myself and you know what i got? 4 medicines and rest buff pots. The rates are terrible to a point no one wants to spend money on it.

I opened 625 boxes got 6 tickets (useless when I need 15 to craft ,venir tali's lvl 20 , seven signs , 169 gems ,started off with lvl 3 ruby 139 later ended with ruby lvl 1 sold the rest to get some Adena the rest was crap , I held off on last promo with the gold enchant tickets even though I rly wanted them ,for this promo mad I held out for this crap , I say remove all pots min reward should be elcyum crystals

Hello,any update regarding the monthly gift,its already 3 June,btw its just a suggestion but you would make most of l2 players happy and even lure back the ones that quit by adding a greater rune stone as the monthly gift

Great job NC America and our new community manager @Wissp!
All this free events are so good for low and mid tier players and does not advantages top / rich players at all (and there is no missleading in event page, everything is clear, there's nothing that can be missinterpreted). Plus the payed event is also good, players are not forced at all to spend 150-200$ in 1 month to get that new collection. And as a bonus it's been a long time since i've seen the servers this stable and lag free!
To sum it up in two words - GREAT JOB!!!

always self-sufficient players (who generate a lot of adena) have more success in this type of events since their margin is not as low as the remaining 99% of the server

I already said it in previous posts to balance the huge gap between players they should have flooded the servers with items last Tuesday.

Thus the articles would lose value and neither the speculators nor the self-sufficients would find it interesting to monopolize the market.

That's the reason everything on the server costs in the billions? I recently started on the Live server and was scared off by the prices of things. How do veterans manage to farm billions of adena in game?

If it weren't for Exalted/Blessed Exalted items, newbies wouldn't be able to play/farm.

Blessed Scroll: Enchant Exalted Weapon and Exalted Dye +3 could be made available in the L2 Store for NCoins. It would be very useful for newbies.

They could change to make Rune Stones start dropping at level 105 mobs.
