I think someone posted this here before referencing actual data from NC, I can't find it, so in short, most income from L2 is not reinvested into L2, L2 players are milked to fund other fun projects and we are left with little to no fun content and lousy support (at least before Hermes showed up GMs would only log to post maintenance info and would ignore all comments, feedback or issues reported by players - now it seems Hermer is trying, so thumbs up).

One way or another someone has to pay real money. You can pay others with adena for items they buy with NC Coin but it doesn't change the fact you can't progress in game without having real money as a mandatory step in the process (this doesn't have to be your money). Most new items cannot be obtained in game and hence such shocking prices. While most people don't mind spending 50 Euro a month on a hobby, in L2 that kind of money will not get you anywhere. As we are getting less and less new players who would fall for the idea they can progress by purchasing some stuff for NC Coins to exchange for adena, the prices will go even higher. When I looking at the current 'event' I guess we can assume people will keep spending tons of real money, but those are mostly top-geared players who will not let the prices go down. They will rather let those items rot in their Warehouses for years than to release a bigger amount to the market.

Spot on. We need ways to gear up in game and I have a wild idea. Maybe give us a way to obtain items in game by actually playing the game? Old fashioned style, I know, but I'm feeling nostalgic today.

No XP event pls, I need those Greater Rune Stones to finally get down in price! ;f

Thanks for your comments The tank is evas templar. When with feohm, it is using ruin, iss debuffs too. As I do those instances daily I know my normal dps and this bug occurs randomly from time to time. With tyrr titan I usually kill Baylor fast - when the bug occurs it takes a few times longer, but it's still mangable. With Tyrr Maestro x2 + ISS it usually takes me 6-7 mins to kill baylors, but when this bug occurs it can even go to 20+ min (Maestros are in blessed exalted ). Yesterday when i saw dps was low (party Maestro x2 + ISS) I opened alt+t (character status) and I saw my main maestro lvl 110 had 70k p atk while normally without berserk etc it has over 140k (assisting Maestro is 107, did not bother to check its p atk). Main Maestro had full buffs on incl Bear, Berserk, Force of Golem, Rose + shining dragon + honey beer + l2pass buff and it has top Tanga homunculus, so 70k seems very weird. Took me forever to kill Baylors >.<

Hi, I've noticed a weird bug, but I can't replicate it on demand. Please let me know if you've come across a similar issue and if you know why/when this happens. Class: I've experienced it on Tyrr Titan and Tyrr Maestro Location: Baylor and Kamaloka 105, no idea if this happens in other instances as those are the only ones I can do Use case: I use 2 types of trios, 1: tyrr titan + iss + tank or sometimes feoh, 2: tyrr maestro x2 + iss I always use the same buffs and boosts for all characters (rose + shining dragon + honey beer + some XP ones), have clan advent on etc I always start with baylor, when I attack it and use BR I sometimes notice the HP goes down way slower than usual and after BR it hardly moves. I check my p atk and can see it is decreased in more or less half (not sure about other stats, but probably too as I start getting trouble staying alive and need to focus on healing ). I check my boosts (all on), check my gear (all equipped) etc, nothing seems to be missing. I kill baylor horribly slow and then relog. This often helps, after relog my p atk is back to normal, so I can finish kamaloka, but sometimes relogging doesn't help. Yesterday it did not help, so i finished kamaloka with great suffering (very slow) and logged off. Today the p atk is back to normal. Any suggestions?

Keep trying guys, let's stay motivated, those Lvl3 Jewel boxes are worth the sacrifice (I know, I know, you've paid for the premium pass ;p)

While one could argue about the b-day potion which is strictly character related there are many items that we should be able to share. NC Soft often changes (breaks ) class balance and people want to reroll. At least now we finally have red libra for main class, but still it would be nice to be able to just reroll and move on the account non-tradable items such as upgraded dragon shirt, lucien's bracelet, lvl4 jewels etc

I can't stop laughing when I look at the 'Level 3 Jewelry Box' reward I suggest you add Twilight Armor sets next time! Seriously NC Soft West you never fail to amaze me, keep up the great work!

Just wanted to say thank you, dear NC Soft West Due to the recent events/promos/updates many people have given up and quit and others have slowed down the pace in which they progress, so there is less and less demand for Greater Rune Stones. The price has already dropped to 4.5bil so it seems a few weeks more and I will be able to buy mine for 3 bil or even less and finally learn my skill! Note: In the future please read more carefully, I did not ask for a dead server, I asked for adding Gr Rune Stones to rewards list.

I'm afraid yuls have been nerfed a lot and the most recent L2 update was the last nail in the coffin for the low geared yuls. I was struggling with my yul after the last upgrade to a point when I almost quit. I decided to switch to a tyrr during the reb libra to give L2 one last try. I also changed my bow to slasher and to my surprise, with exactly the same gear, the same level and the same supporting iss my tyrr easily deals with instances/locations where yul failed. (I still struggle a lot, as I have low tier gear, but at least I am able to so some stuff) I am not sure if you would feel the same kind of improvement with exalted weapon, but I know for sure yuls are not a class for poor people nowadays.

Rune Stones and Greater Rune Stones are almost impossible to farm for a regular player, would be nice to have a chance of getting them for the boxes. 70,000 adena is a joke.

Some people like to blame the victim, but nope. I have asked why they harass my clan and I also asked them many times to stop targeting my clan. One of them, who tried to open war by making me flag, told me that his clan leader promised him some gear in return for opening clan wars with low lvl randoms so he will continue to do so. Not sure if that's true, but it kinda adds up to what other people whom they opened clan war with told me. While without war they can also kill, with clan war on it makes it too easy for them - they don't even need to wait for the PK debuff to go off. They like to go to low lvl locations like desert quarry, beleth circle, open wars and kill all war tags. If someone is not afk and flags back and kills them they summon their main who wipes the whole flagged party with one AOE skill. I guess that's their idea of fun. Anyway, if not for the clan war I am sure the PK sprees would not be as severe as the clan war killing raids.

That's a very good advice, I definitely should, given there are also other things that I am struggling with (for example, clan war system abuse), but what keeps me here are people I like to interact/play with. Though many of my friends have quit recently, so I guess I'm going to follow their lead soon.

In my case, the guys who harass me and my clan have a box clan which they use to open clan war, but they never open wars with their main clan, so they can farm in peace. They log the boxes from the clan which opens war whenever they feel like abusing others. I try fighting them back attacking their mains, but they are way stronger, I can't even scratch them (I hit them for 20dmg or so, so they only laugh), and they are almost never AFK, so it's not possible to mess their pt (I tried different times, even at 3AM someone is watching their party). For some reason they really enjoy abusing weaker players and taking away the very little joy those players have in game. I can't stand a chance against them not only due to difference in gear, but also for the fact that I am not and don't want to be a no-lifer.

Thanks, but that's still too much ;f I think Outrageous is right and it will never return to 1bil. I'm going to aim at around 3bil, maybe someday it'll get there

Ah, thanks for letting me know, so I guess I'm gonna need to forget about learning my skill for the next few years It would be nice to have it, but I don't think it would boost my farm to an extent that it could bring some return on the investment.

Hello NC West, I think you should consider adding Greater Rune Stones to some promo/event reward list, as they have become very scarce on the market and it's not possible for regular players to farm them (correct me if I am wrong, they only drop in TOI?). Of course adding them as a reward from Aden Chests or Venusta Reward box would be even better. Gr Rune Stone is needed to learn a lvl110 skill. A single, nice, but not OP skill. Before red libra the cost of 1 Gr Rune Stone was around 1bil (Naia) - expensive, but manageable for a lvl 110 player. During red libra it went up to even 13 bil and now it's on average 8 bil. I keep waiting for the price to go down , it's been 2 months now, but it seems we'll get another red libra before the price manages to get down to 1bil. While I know no one cares that I will never learn my 110 skill (wasn't planning to change my class on red libra, so didn't have time to prepare in advance), but I'm asking in general, do you think one nice skill for a 110 lvl should be THAT expensive to learn?

At least we can see many people like this event and support NC West by spending money on it Good job, guys. I guess there's no point for NC to change their strategy if this one is working so well! ;f

I vote option 1, and sorry to say this, but this community deserves that. I've been posting here for literally years advising ppl to 'vote/demand good quality service' with the wallet, but people just keep spending more and more for less and less. Keep spending guys, just keep spending.... let's see how this ends
