While I'm not defending NC Soft and I agree the chances are too low, I think you need to learn a bit of how probability works... If the chance is 50%, it's 50% every time, it does not matter how many times you try. Therefore, if you try your luck at 50% the fact that you're doing it for the 9th time does not change anything.

Korean random, can't do anything about it I'm afraid. Sorry for an offtopic, but are there any other ways to get those tomes other than crafting or dethrone? Can't scratch a mob in Dethrone and I don't have any more mats to craft. Maybe I've missed something? Ive already lost hope when it comes to getting that free greater rune stone at lvl 50 due to random chances, but it also seems getting the tomes is mission impossible.

@Wissp @Hermes I suggest you read this and learn how to respond to your playerbase. In case you are not aware, that kind of answers are what people expect.... along with some additional background, for example addressing the 2nd part of Draecke's comment about why you have no option to choose. PS. Do you have any Community Manager at all or only interns?

Exactly, if you keep spending money nothing will change, after all, why would it? The business wants to make money, if the money flows this means the customers believe the product is worth their money.

Thanks for sharing. @Wissp thanks for ignoring. Is there any chance to get your attention and to have the entry fee decreased or clan rewards increased? 10kk is really an absurd. I don't get 100 boxes per day (low dps), but yeah, I think I am getting at least 1 book per month. Though, playing the game should let people progress, getting even makes me stuck.

+1, It's an absurd you don't have any knowledge base, when I want to find out about stuff I either need to check old update notes which I keep saving on my local drive or ask people in game. Any info from NC West gets lost within the news posts on the website. You introduce a new item and post details in the news section and 2 years later nobody knows about it. I really wonder how new players deal with it, from what I have noticed they don't know many basic things.

Hi, it's me again talking about the daily struggles of regular players. I have asked this question before in other topics, but maybe I need a topic of my own to get a response. @Wissp@Hermes Why does it cost 10kk to enter a daily instance? This is not justified, a chance of getting a nice reward is very low, so in most days you don't get back even the entry free you have paid. Why is this particular instance soooo expensive to enter??? All other daily instances cost 300k (which is again, an increase from 100k if I remember well). Most people go in with an ISS (another 10kk) and maybe a tank or another box, so 30kk to get a few scrolls from clan quests in a bit too much. I could ignore this instance, but it is the only timed zone, except for PI, which has a chance to actually give me something! Why is PI entry 300k and Crisis 10kk? Also, it is very frustrating to get a disconnect when inside, as you need to pay another 10kk per character to re-enter, again waste time to find a spot etc.

This is a valid complain, those boosts should not expire. I personally lost more adena than I gained from the rewards most of which will expire as I don't have enough time to use them up, so even more loss on my end (though for most of you it's probably just pocket money). I was hoping to win a Greater Rune Stone which costs 27 bil adena on Naia at the moment and is far from reach of regular players like myself >.< Of course, no win for me, it was stupid of me to even try, but I don't see any other means to get that stone. This new non-tradable one from lvl 50 Tome skill is also outside of my reach, I'll never get to lvl 50... Thanks NC West for an amazing L2 experience. I'll soon be at lvl 112 and can't even learn a lvl 110 skill. In desperation I tried gambling in this shop event and lost. And I can't even keep those silly boosts I paid for.

It's just so that people who can log 60 accounts at the same time can't easily find a spot in clans for all their boxes to participate. If there's a better way to exclude them I'm all for it.

NC West, you need to find some balance here. Last time, the main reward was never taken (Naia) because you could not buy scrolls and you could only get them from a few clan quests and now you can buy scrolls and the event is closed in literally seconds. Both scenarios are bad. You should not let people buy scrolls because this only gives an advantage to the rich part of the server who are already at an advantage and they are hoarding the needed items the rest of the server population need and they make the prices artificially high. You should make the scrolls farmable via clan quests, but increase the amount that you get, for example event quest for every 1k mobs killed or sth, but make it only for clans lvl 6 or higher. This way you reward people for their activity. I know rich people who log 60 accounts would still get more, but it would be more problematic for them. Now they just buy scrolls and they are ready to go.

Thanks for sharing. I've noticed that with each level you need way more scrolls which is yet another challenge. I guess I'm not getting that free Greater Rune Stone anytime soon
