Well those server were born as subscription based servers untill, like pleist said, they introduced the first real p2w stuff, to me the brooch event so only 5 years ago not 14. Get new item policy, change smtg you want, I do not care if it is enchant chance or pw2 promo prices, atm your system is pathetic and players do not like it! We all know you will not go away from the P2W model, but at least make it like that so people can pvp/pve.. don't let players spend 300 dollars and get +1 cloak lol! Servers are dying, open your eyes already! People want to PVP AND PVE, let them play the game... LET THEM PLAY THE GAME. This is not a Casino, your enchant rates are terrible. FORUM is more active than the real game, cant you see that. You need to take action before it is too late! Naia/Freya servers have average population of 1000 ppl and this is + many boxed supports and box shops, these are not healthy server numbers, your greed is not healthy for the players, you make them quit with all these Casino like promos. Soon there will be more P2W items, armors of gods, new talismans, new bracelets.... You are going to make every single gear slot P2W and for a ridiculous price, because of the enchant chance or simply because packs are 14-15k Ncoins! You make the game worse! Make changes or you will make more people quit, mark my words! The product you are selling is not good, last poll you did was terrible for you, almost all players had a bad/negative comment about you and you know this all relates to money! P2W items with crazy price and idiotic enchant chance, players lose items they have paid for with real money, because of Macro, ppl wait for ticket replies much more than 24 hours, gm's answers are templates, sometimes not even related to the topic of their problem! So the only type of players this game can attract, is the rich players category. Players that can afford a respectable (sometimes insane) amount of money to spend in order to get the feeling of competition. Poor players (or players that don't want to follow NC west's insanity) gonna quit. The reason? Pay to win events are implemented without mercy. The target group of this game, is the rich guys. The big pool of players, is the one which includes the quiters. If L2 try to balance the game somehow, lot of unpleasant players will come back. sharkman Posted March 11, 2018 Share Posted March 11, 2018 any new players who hit 99 and go to seige will instantly quit after their first seige and maybe go play something more interesting. server has 3000 ish players but most are fishing afk selling afk macro and or the odd bot the rest sit in town waiting for their instances to reset. then you have the top players trashing each other in hero or wold chat if i was a new player i would not want to play this shit game. So here are a few ideas for you NCSoft. Sell a coupon that will give any player (new or old) the absolute best gear in game for their toon type for 6 hours. Another coupon could max out their skills for a 6 hours. Coupon price? Depends on greed of NCSoft, $100, $200, $500, $1000, or more. I am sure NCSoft has a good method for analyzing how much they can squeeze out of the players. Sell a coupon that will give any player a special skill for 6 hours. Skill would allow the player to be invincible to damage from other players and also provide the ability to one hit kill other players (that do not also have the skill up). Skill duration is 10 minutes with a 20 minute cooldown. This coupon should cost even more. Sell a coupon that will give ability to kill other players without becoming a chaotic character or taking a pk count. Duration one hour. Again very expensive. How about a coupon only for use during siege times that could banish a player to a time out room for 20 minutes. Yes very, very expensive. Of course the banished player would be able to buy an equally expensive coupon for instant release for the time out room. Any other lighthearted ideas out there on how to meet the goals of (1) get new players into the game in an exciting way (avoiding all the boring grinding//instances) and (2) line the pockets of NCSoft (or NCWest - whomever they are)?
