  1. Best is duo for those levels. If you are lacking in gear your best bet is Tyrr dreadnought x2 and either iss hierophant or sws/sd. Other viable option is tyr dread + feoh and iss. Which is what I did and it qorked alright. Dreadnought to my understanding is the single most broken low end class in the game. You pull you cc and you deal AOE dmg. Cheap to make it work for auto attack build. DO NOT PLAY YUL IF YOU CANT AFFORD IT.

  3. Dreadnought, I am in love with the class. You are going to exp like there is no tomorrow. Carried my whole 3man squad from 0 to 110 and duals 107/108 in 3 months of prestige with basic gear. I changed my wynn to feoh, the class is depressing to play atm
  4. If it's taking you 3 weeks for 40k mobs quest you should change your playstyle. This game is mostly about killing monsters. I reckon you are killing mobs 1 by 1 I doubt you only kill 80 mobs per hour. If that is true then you either attack mobs you shouldn't or you play without gear. With a fast killing group you can easily do 10-15k quest kills per day if not more. I don't know what class you are playing but you should consider forming a 3 man group of your own if u are having difficulty finding one, things will progress a lot, I mean A LOT, faster.
  5. Mini guide for lvl 1 to 110 in 3-4 months. (Minimum cost is 45 $/month) What I would do if I started now with my current knowledge would be: -Create x2 Tyrr Dreadnoughts or x1 tyrr dread & x1 feoh Stormscreamer (I would suggest making x2 tyrr dreads and will explain bellow why) -Create 1 Iss Hierophant or SwS/BD (With a Dreadnought subclass to carry your x2 DpS subclasses in Coal) -Level them as fast as possible to 105 and then level up their dual class to 105. -Do Coal mines every day till 105,99% and then do it on subclasses -Afk farm Beleth magic circle till 108 (In good spots you could be making 15-28 million per hour which is a lot more than what you'll be making after reaching 108) -If you can afford it make a 6h session in coal mines -Try making your own Imperial Tomb group with 108+ ppl inside -Do Crisis every single day -After 107 start doing Storm Isle -After 108 start doing PI -After 108 afk Tanor (12-15 million adena per hour) -Try getting Enhanced Shadow stormers asap -lvl 2 artifact book with +0 artifacts -+5/6/7 Scorpio agathion -Oly PvE belt/monkey chef belt -Get your atlas earring to +12 -1 ring of Creation -After reaching 109 get your subclasses to 107 for the +50 weapon p attack. Take advantage of 6h coal mines isntance session.(Ideally do it during a double exp event) -If you are in a clan with higher lvl folks try joining Aden dailies 105(If you are within 5lvls of the higher lvl party member you will gain insane amounts of exp) -At 109 you can try FoS but if you are wearing exalted armor you will get hit for a lot of dmg. If you do this you'll probably make it to 110 in 3-4 months while having a solid and reliable "group" that can do almost all content around your lvl. PS: Why pick x2 dreadnoughts? -Cheap to gear up for their auto attack kit -Probably the best AoE DD by far in low to mid gear -Permanent stun on the mobs(Exalted armor is paper) -2 spears is better than one (Provoke gives increased dmg on sppear users) and you will melt pulls. -When you reach to a point where you can solo Storm/Crisis/PI or even IoS you can have double the toons aka double the money at "half" the gear cost(If you have the time). After this point depending your wallet you can always Redlibra one of the tyrrs when the option is available and focus on your prefered class or just create a subclass u prefer.
  6. Agreed, especially now that melee lag is being looked upon I reckon ISS can pull it's own weight with good to high gear. It's just their steroids have high CD. If they was an option for BR having a lot lower CD when ISS is not in a group would make it a lot easier to play one when you are forced to solo.
  7. This is ridiculous. bad info. It is true that if you decide to make a support class as main you need either a group of friends or your own DPS carry. However, hear not those naysayers, with just prestige I gotten my own iss Hierophant to 108lvl & 60% in less than 3 months with a DpS combo armed with mostly basic gear. The Dps is now 109 and 45% after 3 months of play time as well using prestige and a destiny pack for the event.
  8. I wouldn't touch talismans until way later into the game. With 38bil If I wanted to make an evi, I would get Shadow fists, scorpio 5, ring of creation, chef's monkey belt, any sigil, artifact lvl 2, venir 12, upgrade all the important skills to +10(basically SM lmao) and buy runestones for me and my VoP or PoM iss. Then save the rest for either r110+++++ fists or elmore cloak for the future. In an upcomming update we are gonna be getting an upgraded version of exalted gear and many peripherals which will make r99 gear obsolete unless you find a cheap bloody set +8 and above.
  9. I get that and I wish we had more high lvl zones similar to beleth or Instance zones like Coal or Storm. Ngl, in Storm I feel like a boss. I haven't seen anyone else do what I am able to do with my 3 man group in Storm around my level and gear range. I did 108 9%- 109 on both tyrr and feoh during the first week of the event despite the lag. I doubt I would be able to do that with any other tyrr/class. Also, my sub on dread is titan and I had to rely on my iss sub(dread with exalted spear) to carry me to 107 in a 6h coal session.
  10. Btw while we are at it, @iHyperlite Do you know what Provoke actually does? Is it extra dmg or what exactly is the debuff supposed to do?
  11. Dwarf I get it has the 30% true dmg proc but you gonna need very expensive gear to get to a point that you are better than dread. Why Titan though? Dread has Focus attack (+25% p attack & +10% p skill/p attack crit dmg) and Winged Spear +35% p attack(Same thing as frenzy) if you have the gear to play with skills so I don't see how titan is better. Plus you have You also have more AoE skills with dread that have high skill power co-efficience and a 2 sec cd or less 9 second stun. The main difference is that spear has less weapon p attack. But the amount of AoE dmg you do with Dread auto attacks will carry you much further than any other tyrr until the point you have enough gear to rely on skills. Imo Dread beats any other class in PvE until you have really good gear.
  12. I am not really impressed with Evi as much as most ppl are. I think tyrr is a lot better overall, especially Dwarf tyrr and Dreadnought. If I was gonna main a single target toon I'd pick dagger over anything else hands down.
  13. I don't oppose p2w either even though my salary is not "stronk" enough for this game. I am just saying it's very hard to balance between being p2p and p2w/f2p model. I've seen what happend to other games that tried to balance that and they became a bottomless pit of normalized daily quest boredom. (Archeage) The issues this game has are not as severe as Archeage imo even though getting to "end game" is almost an impossible feat for the majority. I'll highlight the issues that I feel are in need of attention: PvE: 1) Very few 105-110 areas with almost zero being for groups, so ppl can't really catch up fast enough, at least in levels and makes support classes unwanted till a lot later in the game. 2) Very few mobs in the available areas, doesn't give players the option to play the game their own way. 3) Too many instance zones. 4) Crafting/spoiling feels pointless 5) Some classes are left to rot into oblivion of uselesness 6) Too many promotions with a rotation of essential items that appear once a year. 7) Greedy chests is a bad mini game that is mostly being abused by a circlejerk. PvP: 1) No incentive to participate in every clan/solo/group event for the majority (getting hit for 7million dmg is just unreal) 2) A handful of ppl can delete the whole server. I get that l2 is not really a high skill cap game but it still has some of the most entertaining GroupVsGroup themes yet it requires at least a year of playing before you attempt doing anything(Even for those that have an Platinum CC) 3) Not a single normalized daily/weekly event to keep people engaged in pvp. The main positive features are the nostalgia, the high progress ceiling and the auto farm(I wouldnt be able to play it otherwise since I am working a lot.
  14. Maybe when/if Lineage 2 remastered comes out. But if they decide to remove l2store, they 'll also have to remove most of the roflstomping items many people have stashed over the gears or just make them far more accessible. Never gonna happen though imo, the game is too far gone into p2w that you can't really turn it 180 degrees without pissing off either the haves or the havenots.
  15. Easier said than done sadly Been trying for 2 months to find even one person around my level range to progress together!! Maybe I've been unlucky but I either get ppl that are too geared and obviously don't need me or for the most part people that have no clue what to do yet unwilling to tweak things in order to be useful. I feel like I know what I am doing since I am hitting 109 in 3-4 days after playing for 2 and a half months running still mostly exalted gear but still too far behind for the ppl that are closer to my mindet. Keeping my hopes up for when I reach 110
  16. Played Summoner for almost 10 years up until 2012-13. It is the class closest to my heart that fully represents my playstyle which is mainly solo while trying to "break" the game within it's legitimate boundaries and occasions between grey areas. I always remember this class either being too weak or too strong. From the beging up until summoners got some nuker/debuffer skills they where weak in all aspects. Later on they became relevant in small scale and olympiad and they where pretty decent in pve. One particular period in early Goddess of Destruction when we had three panthers out at the same time and even after the relative fast update that cut down the number down to two. Summoner then was a beast even in mass pvp. If you had reached lvl 99 with the enchanted "Invoke" you deleted groups of ppl. The class also had several issues with abusing the game. You could exp other ppl when you had your summon roam far away from you killing mobs outside your exp range. While the most profound and abusive one being the Instance zone bug/abuse which let you stuck "permanently"(until the time you log out) all available buffs including BR/triggers/special skills with long cd etc. That period a handful of summoners could do every possible content in the game in matter of minutes. Insane dps while being almost unkillable. Bottomline, I think the class is very hard to balance without leaving room for abusive behavior. Sad truth, I love it but I do understand why it's being left to rot
  17. The first day of the event it wasn't that bad. With some vita pots + prestige + 200% 1 week rune I was saving for this type of event I managed to get 20% at 108 on 3 toons respctively. Now 4 days later it has become unplayable and progressively I am making less and less with more struggle and many deaths during afk grind because the ISS stops buffing or I get 5-10 sec lag spikes out of the blue. I can barely complete the solo daily dungeon with my melee, Storm gives me almost half the adena and IT is a nightmare taking me over 40min to complete. Even though I still made 55% at 108 in 4 and a half days I am kinda butthurt I activated the 200% 1 week rune before they announced the upcomming server upgrade on April 7th. Could probably make a lot more exp, even double that on some instances. Well, I knew where I was getting myself into before starting this game, NCwest
  18. Yeah, I saw big difference as well than my usual earnings. In storm I get between 190-200kk/h, today I barely got 140kk. Feoh is bussiness as usual, dreadnought is hitting like it has Corona or something Ngl though, the game has many issues and lag is a bummer but boi am I happy with this event. Was really bummed that I started playing after the Last exp event and I wasn't expecting to see 110 for another three-four months. First day of the event and I already gotten +20% exp at 108 on my three accounts lmao. Mby I can make it to 110 by the end of the month
  19. Imo, NO, a big one also. You don't have to pay much but have to pay some. Impossible to play the game without prestige at least, it makes no sense whatsoever. You wont be able to pvp competively for a long time but I think you can still have some fun while slowly progressing and learning the game. Without prestige you wont be making any profit, exp will be a lot harder and you'll get stuck. Maybe if you are a genius or too lucky and can play the market like a WallStreetBet Redditor , sure. But what is the point. You play mmos to kill time or enjoy the proccess of progression, so 15 dollars a month for entertainment shouldnt be something extravagant.

Afaik it displays the remaining cd timer on your log but it also feels like it skips the skill delay if that said skill is on cooldown so it makes the macro sequence progress faster instead of just standing there doing nothing. I might be wrong but I read it from another person as well and it seems to be working like that.
  21. It does help if you add /attack or attackstand after every skill you use on your macro, as well as adding "%c" at the end of every skill (/useskillstand Thunder Storm %c for example). Regardless, "melee" lag is there and it is probably related to server load. Every toon has lag but auto attackers are hit the hardest. Stop spreading misinformation about it. It's a real issue and it gets to unplayable levels during primetime.
  22. Are you sure that you get no negative effect aka dmg reduction? I am testing in Primeval/storm on a lvl 108 tyrr with exalted stormer tier 2 vs enhanced shadow stormer and the difference is astronomical.(up to 15-20%+ more dmg on high crits. Maximum dmg I saw on primeval was 42k with exalted vs 58k with ESW) In both cases my attribute is quite lower to what the table you posted suggests for a lvl 110 monster. (785 with exalted vs 995 with ESW) I doubt the difference is generated by the 10% extra p attack ESW gives.
  23. I believe NA region will soon get an update if not a complete overhaul on the l2store. If you follow the recent changes in EU server you'll see that they introduced a wide array of items that are otherwise very limited/rare directly through l2store. In general Core server had already many of those items available through events/boxes, including a higher availability in Dragon Weapons. But I reckon NCwest will be forced to follow that path as well sooner or later. For sure we'll be getting an updated version of basic gear(exalted) and other goodies which will greatly boost newbies (like me). As for Adena, I think is pretty balanced right now to create a progressively linear path. My main issue with the game atm is the grinding zones being too limited for bellow level 110. Most ppl I reckon are between level 105-110 and spot options are very limited if any during the day. Imo NC needs to push ppl faster towards lvls above 110 in order to create more pvp content for the top dogs while at the same time giving a perception of "relevance" to the new players. That way you'll see more ppl in sieges to say the least. This move will also give the option to have more support classes available to more groups. As I progress in levels I see less and less live healers/tanks/iss playing. My clan has only 1 healer for example. That's sad.
  24. Duelist I think is the most expensive of all tyrr warriors. You have more skill power than the rest but less p attack. To reach the point where skills are worth using in PvE you need a very geared toon. I would recommend Maestro/titan/Dreadnought or evis. If you are only 105 is not a big deal, make a new toon. Shoudln't take more than a week to get it and your sub back to 105. If you pick Dreadnought, send me a pm and I could help with suggestions.
